This is not a great matchup for KU. Walker and Remy are similar, Malik Hall is kind of a problem, and if Mady Sissoko makes the expected leap he’s going to defend Dave pretty well. And Max Christie seems to be the real deal. So we’re going to have to play (read: defend) well. We can have a B- offensive game and win as long as we guard. If we let Walker and Christie go bananas it might suck.

I hear what you are saying and have lost more than one person to someone driving under influence. I just don't think holding a player from games teaches them enough about what they did. What I suggested is they be forced into a situation where they learn what can happen from drinking under influence. That isn't part of the discipline of just holding them out of games. Most diversions include random testing, and abstaining from any drugs and alcohol is SOP in those agreements. Lawrence used to not enforce that, not sure if it's changed.
