Remy lit up Tulsa 😎

Our NIL operation is a clown show so far. Really need to step it up. Partnering with 6th Man or whatever was a big mistake.

Kansas starting 5 • Oct 28, 2021 07:40 PM

Given the recruiting priorities, KJ would be one I'd have on transfer watch. As of now, I think the starting 5 is Harris, Remy, Och, Wilson, Dave. Word has been Harris has outplayed Remy so far.

@FarmerJayhawk they can play in the exhibition game, right?

I’m still confused on this rule. I think maybe at one point it was only freshmen?

Was Jalen Wilson's redshirt a medical or was it considered a regular redshirt because he played in a regular season game as a freshman and still redshirted.

I think that was a regular since he played all of 15 seconds. They’ll give you some leeway if it’s injury related. The medical would kick in if god forbid he tore his ACL scrimmaging Tulsa and lost a second year to injury. He would have to petition the NCAA for another year when his eligibility runs out after the 2025(!) season. The old Jalen Coleman-Lands redshirt trifecta.

When is the deadline for those who red shirt?

There isn’t one, really. As long as they don’t play the redshirt is in tact.

JuCo offers coming in hot and heavy. Offered a OT from Garden and a LB from Texas today. Shows where they think the holes are.

@Marco With his size and stroke Dick seems like a good fit at the 3. If you see Self putting Dick in at multiple positions, I think it will be bad news.

There is so much phrasing here my God

I recommend holding the ball for 22 minutes again and OU repeatedly taking a 12 gauge right to the metatarsals

At least on offense, Clemence and Udeh works great. Defense might be a tad iffy

Top 5 job in the sport at worst. They'll have about their pick of non-Jimbo and non-Saban candidates. If I were them I'd hire Billy Napier (who was my clear far and away favorite for KU but he would never even take the call), but I think they want a bigger splash.

Yeah, I’d say only a couple more HS commits then around 10 from the portal

Hopefully we can get him to commit

@FarmerJayhawk like you said, our recruiting is definitely on the upswing. But I don't see Mitchell signing with us, since we already have a pretty good, gaming Dick and Zuby. I don't think that we'll sign Walsh either. Udeh would be a nice get though.

Same. A HS class of Dick, Zuby, Rice, and Udeh would be very, very good. Maybe take a transfer wing or guard if you want an extra veteran.

A lineup of Harris, Yesufu, Braun, Rice, and Udeh makes me very happy. Udeh is a legit anchor at the 5, where Zuby is more skilled and obviously Clemence can fire away from deep. And the depth is still there with Dick, Zuby, Clemence, Adams, Pettiford, and Cuffe

No doubt, a versatile and interchangeable, deep rotation with Dick leading the way.

I am going to refrain from commenting further since this is ostensibly a family website

Until I see some crystal ball picks moved for Mitchell to ever schools then I say he still Duke or UCLA

I would agree with that. More like moved from impossible to really unlikely

@nuleafjhawk yes, we did. But things were BAD at the end. Lost 7 straight and there were pretty significant locker room issues. The trajectory was very bad. The same issues plagued him afterword which is why after ISU canned him nobody has given him the time of day. KU was right to let him walk. Perkins et al's decisions later are another discussion

Jordan Walsh on KU

Kansas: "I talk to Kurtis Townsend. Kansas has always been my dream school and I want to visit to get a feel for their culture. Bill Self is obviously a legendary coach. There is a lot of history there and I want to be around that to see what it feels like."

Now a Composite 5 star. ESPN recently made him the 7th best prospect. Will Visit KU this month.

Has visited Texas (I believe they are the favorite for him), Arizona St, Memphis with Arkansas still in it. KU could be his final visit.. Let's see where this one goes. Would make KU the #2 class in the country with Walsh aboard.

Curse of the dream school label

Ass terrible. He basically lost the locker room and didn't really recruit in 09. Telling he hasn't stuck anywhere since.
