Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 09, 2022 05:20 PM

@kuballin10 it’s the early in the season “if we make the other team play worse we win” kind of lineup. I wouldn’t worry about it being any kind of mainstay

2023 Recruiting • Nov 09, 2022 05:12 PM

All our guys are signing early 😊

The 5 spot • Nov 08, 2022 02:41 AM

Watching UNC now. Kinda glad we didn’t get Nance. He’s kind of a stiff

Box Score Musings • Nov 08, 2022 02:35 AM

@wissox Zach, Zuby, and MJ. I think each gets much much better over the course of the year. Shoot, I could even see Cam Martin having a few moments.

Box Score Musings • Nov 08, 2022 02:32 AM

@benshawks08 agreed. I think we have a ton of depth and versatility. Still have to find our identity, which we will. Bill is fond of saying nobody is a team in November. They’ll get there.

2023 Recruiting • Nov 08, 2022 02:25 AM

@BeddieKU23 yes. Honestly hard to say because the pool of kids they can really recruit is so small. But he’s landed some top flight kids recently

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 02:23 AM

@benshawks08 yeah I think he’s more Wiggs than any of those guys.

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 02:09 AM

@approxinfinity ope that’s the first Monday of standard time brain.

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 02:05 AM

Think we’ve got our rotation for now. Juan McCullar Dick Wilson KJ Udeh Bobby. Maybe we’ll dip to 9 when MJ gets sped up

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 02:03 AM

Luv u Bobby

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 02:03 AM

@DanR I remember being in about the 4th row under the hoop when he did the dream shake against New Mexico. A piece of my jaw is still there

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 02:01 AM

That’s what I want to see from Zuby

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 02:00 AM

JANK

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 01:56 AM

@kuballin10 won’t get any argument from me on Joe vs. MJ. He’s just now getting back to full speed from being hurt

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 01:44 AM

@kuballin10 I don’t really care who starts, just who plays the high leverage minutes. And from the looks of things it’ll be Udeh. We’ll see what happens when Rice gets healthy. That’ll change the wing rotation as well

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 01:42 AM

Bobby “Nelly” Pettiford is a dude

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 01:41 AM

@kuballin10 and he’s back. Common rotation

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 01:32 AM

Yeah guys I think we got our 5

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 01:31 AM

@BeddieKU23 seems like a Landen vs. Doke thing before Doke got hurt

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 01:30 AM

Let’s roll with Udeh. Things seem to work better with him vs. KJ

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 01:28 AM

@kuballin10 neither has really played tbf

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 12:56 AM

@approxinfinity always a surprise

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 12:55 AM

That stroke on Dick…

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 12:25 AM

Dick with the great touch there

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 12:23 AM

@approxinfinity the former should mean less of the latter thankfully

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 12:21 AM

@DanR same. I like the 4 around 1, with the 1 being a space eater

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 12:19 AM

I think the KJ experiment has shown what it is

Peyton Manning Game Thread • Nov 08, 2022 12:18 AM

@BShark cheers!

There’s zero doubt the staff wanted Mikey and really liked him. But the board is the board and when a player higher up wants the spot then you take him. Happens more often in football but this was the same deal. Especially now with one less scholarship to work with next year. Mikey didn’t have a spot among our 12.

Understand buddy - -understand for sure, and trust not upset about Jackson - -my point more was aimed about the change of attitude about the kid which BShark and Betty detailed 100% o point. - not upset really about people hear but just overall about the situation reading various people

Ah yeah there will always be some "well he sucks, we didn't want him anyway" in recruiting. Comes with the territory. Thankfully KU fans aren't nearly as bad as some. KSU fans are really bad about it. Any kid that picks them is humble, hardworking, and does things the right way. Anybody who doesn't is an entitled diva who is only chasing a paycheck
