How did you do that?
He edited your post...not cool without permission...
Until Coach K gets his new prosthetic backbone, Duke will do zilch and the conference will say it is "inconclusive" so it is time for the NCAA to act...unless they are still busy with the Diallo transcript.😄
I would love to know if he feels the same way almost one year later...
The term sociopath comes to mind...
Never seen anything like it. Most players would be trying to protect themselves...he is trying to hit the coach that is trying to help him. WOW.
Coach K is in for a backbone replacement; apparently the one he has has turned to spaghetti...
Last I checked 3 of 7 is 0.43...I'll take it...
kSU losses two road games by a total of 3 points...I would be squeaking too...
Squeaky got teed...
TTU and KSU going down to the wire...
For a change, someone tripped Duke earlier....
...and this is how you get it done!!!
Clean block...
Announcers trying to wil Oklahoma to come back...
Pedal to the metal, balls to the walls...no mercy...
That is his game, penetrate Nd dominate...leave the 3 point shooting to others.
Mason in the house...and the zone...
I hate when refs want to grab the spotlight...
Here comes the boom...
In all fairness Charlie Villanueva has always been a head case.
There is no real harm wearing either and if it helps psychologically then by all means wear it...and it also gives @jaybate-1.0 sleepless nights and material for multi part posts.
He is from Norman. OK, so even if he plays he might be able to catch the second half since the KU-OU game starts at 8...I just checked, his HS team plays tomorrow so it is likely he will be there.
Not the type of game he plays against KU but not bad, 5-7 from 3 for 17 points but only 2 assist in 36 minutes. With Evans playing point, Forte is now an undersized SG.
Trae has used up all of his official visits and he has been to KU already. He cuold have an unofficial visit on his own dime and I would be curious if he sits behind the KU or OU bench...OU can give him up to 3 tickets if the visit is an "unofficial" OU visit; I am not sure he can make an unofficial visit to KU in Stillwater so KU tickets are probably out of the question...:unamused:
He is a jerk, sexual abuser and one of the most hated athletes in all sports. ↗ Aother link here... ↗ he seems to be in every list...
That is funny...you almost owe my a new keyboard, luckily I was holding a napkin that I was was able to place over my mouth just in time.
Foster got into a lot of trouble at KSU because of bad behavior and piss poor attitude and was suspended because of it, perhaps more than once? You have to respect a coach that chooses good behavior and team over winning at all or any cost. I will guess that most of us followed KSU closer so we have more information on what went on. I personally do not follow Creighton that close or hardly at all so I don't know if he finally grew up and decided to be a team player or if he is doing the same thing and just getting away with it. Maybe someone with inside info into that program can chime in...
There is no hard evidence that it works and a lot of what people perceive is the placebo effect. ↗
I know that OSU has been a bad place for KU but I was talking in more general terms...WVU destroyed OSU in Stillwater so I am not big on the Cowboys. Evans and Carrol are playing well, particularly Evans who will likely be all-conference, but Forte and Hammonds numbers are down and the quality drops quite a bit from there. They have 11 players averaging double digit minutes and other than the 4 above, none would get much playing time anywhere else in the conference. If not for Forte coming back for a 5th year, OSU would be battling Texas for the bottom spot.
Well...Duh...
I agree with you but...road loses are more likely to happen at KSU or ISU rather than at Oklahoma or Texas
Diallo's plans. Not at all what had been reported; most stories I read dealt with the effects on team chemistry having a player join the team well into the season and with the intent of playing just a short time.
I believe you have it absolutely right. Basketball sleeves are really "compression sleeves" that the makers claim improve circulation and might on occasion lessen the impact of a knee or elbow knock that can be painful to the touch but present no structural damage. There is no medical evidence that they do anything other than to feel and look good.
Anyone that follows basketball or other sports know that the great majority of sleeves are worn as fashion and because of the placebo effect and not to correct any existing damage or prevent further injuries since the have no structural rigidity; they are one small step above a tattoo. On the other hand, orthopedic braces worn by injured players will normally have structural components that limit movement or shield the body part from further impact.
I have seen kids in rec. leagues wearing compression sleeves and I know they have no injuries...monkey see, monkey do. Marathon runners are now wearing knee high compression socks...in their defense, those race starts are brutal with all the shoving, kicking, elbowing and eye gouging that goes on...worse than the bottom of a football pile with Dick Butkus squeezing your nuts...brutal I tell you, brutal; I am not sure how they ever survived before without their knee highs. No fiction and no malice although plenty of tongue-in-cheek...
He has trouble keeping players as well...
Now, this is interesting...
I will guess the younger posters have no clue who RoseMary Woods was...😉
His HS class graduated last year and he was doing post HS work and becomes elegible for the draft at the end of the season. The only question was whether he was going to enroll somewhere to play the second half of the season or wait for the draft; I guess he chose the first.
Congrats to Clemson, they never gave up and kept coming back.
Good to see a non SEC team win...Clemson really earned it...
Great 4th quarter...
Wild end of the game...
Clemson wins...
Not so fast. Bama back on top but left too much time on the clock...
And KU lost to Indiana that fell off the top 25 and did not even receive a single vote in either poll and now is probably considered a bad loss. If you follow the computer polls, KU has dropped even when it has not lost and I believe it is due to the drop by Indiana.
According to Jeff Sagarin, Baylor is 4-0 against top 25 and 6-0 against top 50 teams; best record of any team. By the way, Oregon is ranked 11 and 13 in the two main polls. Baylor and Gonzaga are the only unbeaten teams left. Based on the record to date, Baylor has a legitimate claim to the #1 spot.
Diallo is there for only 3-4 months and then gone. I wonder how it is going to affect team chemistry at UK...
I keep telling you guys KSU is legit. Had Wade made the 3 pointer KSU probably wins at AFH, something only 9 teams have done in the last 14 years..and it would have been against one of the top 2 KU teams in that entire period. I am by no means a KSU or Weber fan but I have to admit he is a decent coach and has KSU playing well.
You don't think they would after one of the top 2-3 coaches in the country? Coach K is the highest paid coach in college BBall and it is not even close so money will not be an objects. I just don't see Capel being top 30 or even top 40. I am sure he will be considered but there are current Duke alumni that are already HCs with a much better resumes including Mike Brey, Johnny Dakwins, Tommy Amaker and when the job opens, it will likely be the top job in college basketball...unless another blue blood is also looking for a coach at the time. Just my 2 cents.
