I'm shocked Hunter committed to ISU looking at him now. Dude had offers from Texas Tech, Miami, Louisville, Minnesota, and Florida (others as well but those were the top offers).
Also he is an ATHLETE. My goodness that guy can get up. Seems like an ideal Bill Self pg from a stature/athleticism standpoint. We know shooting doesn't really factor in to Bill Self PG recruits.

That trade was a really good "win now" type of move for the Royals.
Would feel better if we didn't have Michael Taylor penciled in to start in CF. But outside of that, I think they have a pretty salty bunch to throw out there 162 times and the new rules seem to all benefit the Royals. 7 inning games in double headers. Runners on 2nd in extra innings. Dead ball.
This crew could make a run for 2nd in the division and a Wildcard spot imo. Everything would have to break right, but they have a legit lineup 1-7 that should manufacture some runs. Question really is if the pitching can keep it together for the entire season.
This team really needs either Bryce or Braun to step up before the season is over. If one of those two can get hot, we can make a run.
Dave is playing great lately. Wilson is back to doing Wilson things. The defense has been "Bill Selfed."
We just need one more guy to get it going on the offensive end and so we can avoid extended periods of not scoring. Or at least get so hot that we can make a few quick 8-0 runs to stay in the game.
KSU is just as bad or worse. Take care of business Wednesday and then our fate is in our own hands

With a win on Saturday, KU has a bit opportunity to finish the season hot and secure a much better tournament seed than they would today.
Finishing up the season home vs. #7 TTU, at #13 Texas and home again for the Baylor rematch.
Find a way to win those three and we can probably push from a 5/6 seed all the way to a well-deserved 3 seed. Can we do it? Absolutely. Will we do it? Highly unlikely.
One thing is clear, Bill seems to have righted the ship. And with Bryce being back, the 7-man rotation is pretty solid. I'm not expecting a Final Four run or anything, but this bunch has the ability to get hot and make a little bit of noise at least.
