Although Nash is a good scorer I don't see him on 1st team. I see maybe Rico Gathers Sr. (Baylor) if he can keep up his 10.7pts and 13.3rbs per game. Or even Devin Williams (West Virginia) 14.1pts and 9.8rebs. Got to have a post player on the 1st team. Only one guy you have posted is in the Big12's Top20 in rebounds per game. And it isn't Georges.

My guys that just miss the cut are Williams (WVU), Ellis (KU), Mason (KU), Chery (BU), and Taylor (UT). That's a pretty good second team though.
@JayHawkFanToo I watched the game last night. Foster and Harris weren't on the bench but according to the announcers they were at the practice in Lubbock today so they speculated that they were both sent back to the team hotel.

Nobody has mentioned this former Jayhawk that has coaching in his blood but what about Kirk? His dad was his coach growing up. I think he could teach our guards a thing or two.
My question is this: Is Oubre's flu a true respiratory flu (influenza) like REHawk is describing or is/was it the stomach flu (gastroenteritis) that people think is the flu they're immunized for??
From what I've heard and seen the flu vaccine is/was pretty ineffective this flu season. 23% effectiveness roughly. It varies with the age of the patient.

Guessing these are the same refs from WVU and TCU game. The made the same bs phantom call that screwed TCU at end of the game that the just whistled Selden for.

I'm not sure how much actual number crunching this guy has done or if he watches all the teams consistently (I highly doubt he does though). Rotations have changed for most teams since the end of cupcake non-cons. Like I said above in my other post, look at our three main 4s-5s and like you said, none of them are really the 6'8" they claim. Ridley 6'9" and Lambert 6'9" look much taller than both Perry and Jamari. And all of Kentucky's bigs are larger at 6'10", 7', 6'11",and 7'.
This is where our height DISadvantage lies and adding our height to style of play is the reason for our number of blocked shots.
Where we get back to above average is by having wings that are 6'7" BG, 6'7" KO, 6'8" SM, and 6'5" WS .
@drgnslayr Personally I didn't think TCU fouled the guy on that lay up at the end there. Or at least from the camera angles I caught it wasn't worth sending him to the line for.

@drgnslayr I thought the refs were pretty inconsistent with their hand check calls last night and WVU still fouled like crazy. Total hackfest. For the game to be @KSU and to not get those types of hand checks is crazy. What we need to really work on leading up to the WVU game is end bounding the ball, breaking the press, not sticking, and fighting through double teams every where on the court. WVU doubled when they could at all times. Not just during the press. I fear our youthfulness will be flustered by this type of play. Maybe try running press break with 7 or 8 defenders??

@HighEliteMajor Agreed. I could be wrong but I think our average height isn't greater than most teams at the 4 and 5 positions but is at the guard slots which messes with these numbers.

When did Dish channel 140 and DirectTV 206 become the Kentucky Wildcat network?? I thought the SEC didn't allow their member schools to start their own network?
KU needs to play every damn minute of the game with intensity. I'd say they need to play all 40 minutes but that may confuse them again and lead to what they did against OU which was played great for 40 minutes (about 8:40pm CST) and then they figured the game was over!?!?!?
