I have the feeling this will be one of my favorite KU teams. I just get that vibe. I like all these dudes

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 02:43 AM

@stoptheflop We could not in good faith go so far quite yet

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 02:42 AM

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 02:39 AM

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 02:37 AM

Hopefully this is the start to a very good weekend for KU sports

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 02:19 AM

Bball conference is going to be bananas next year

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 02:09 AM

Every time Dook slaps the floor, someone is also tripped by Grayson Allen

People talk about Juan’s lack of scoring but he may have the highest FG of all PGs

Not caring about scoring tends to lead to a very good shot selection

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:50 AM

Pretty nice block by Braun there

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:47 AM

What is a Jasper

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:44 AM

Simmons also is decent as a cutter and moving without the ball. But he's only really effective as a dunker in a half court offense

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:39 AM

He's good at standing in the dunker's spot

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:38 AM

KJ = Ben Simmons - the passing and terrible attitude

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:35 AM

Our freshman look mature, playing within the offense

@KirkIsMyHinrich thanks I never really expect transfers from places like Towson to work out. I know they do sometimes but not too oftenly for us.

I'm also low on mid major transfers but hopefully he starts playing better. He is a very good shooter

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:32 AM

Furphy looks great though

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:31 AM

Nicolas Timberlake. Averaged 18 ppg on 42% 3pt shooting last season on Towson. Has not looked very good this season

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:26 AM

Furphy is a CB Dick hybrid and he looks like Keanu Reeves

Manhattan Jaspers, Who? • Nov 11, 2023 01:25 AM

Furphy is good good

Dickinson is really good

KU-NCCentral Eagles!!! Tonight!! • Nov 07, 2023 01:47 AM

Really excited about Furphy's upside. He's going to be good.

Dickinson, McCullar, Harris look great. No surprise there

I would have to look at this more, but it also might be possible for Kansas to make the CCG if Kansas wins out, Oklahoma wins out, and then Texas loses to any opponent. That would again create a 3-way circle of suck between Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. If Texas drops a game to TCU or Texas Tech (again unlikely) then it would come down to win percentage against the best common opponent, in which case everyone would have beaten Iowa St. Then it would come down to win percentage against all common conference opponents, which I think would only be BYU and Iowa St who we all will have beaten in that scenario... So then it would come down to combined winning percentage of all conference opponents in conference games. Right now Kansas' B12 opponent record is 28-26, Texas' B12 opponent record is 27-27, and Oklahoma's B12 opponent record is 27-27, and that includes records for teams we haven't played yet.

So tldr it might be possible if we win out, Oklahoma wins out, and Texas loses any of their remaining games.

I think KU can make the CFP if they win out, Oklahoma wins out, and Texas drops a game at Iowa St.

That would put Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma in a 7-2 triangle. It would then come down to record against best common opponent, which is likely going to be Iowa St, who Kansas and Oklahoma beat and Texas lost to. Then Kansas has the head-to-head against Oklahoma.

That would be awesome if that happened BUT I don't see much of a way Teas losing to Iowa St. -- Defensively Iowa St might give them some trouble BUT offensively I don't see any way Iowa State is going to be able to outscore Texas and or handle Texas D-Line. - -Iowa State had trouble running against us - - -they not running on Texas which makes them very one dimensional and that will put Rocco Beck left running for his life. - -I just can't see anyway. Actually I'd be surprised if Texas didn't win that game by 3 scores

Same... But that's at least a scenario that Kansas can get in with Texas only losing one time. If Ewers isn't playing Texas might have trouble scoring on Iowa St, who does have a good defense.

CCG I mean, not CFP lol

Oklahoma by the way has home games vs West Virginia and TCU and a road game at BYU, so they have a decent shot at winning out.

I doubt Iowa St can beat Texas, but with the game in Ames and if Ewers isn't playing, they have a shot.

I think KU can make the CCG if they win out, Oklahoma wins out, and Texas drops a game at Iowa St.
