His EX has history of rather unstable behavior. I remember her losing her head and being a crazy stalker girl accusing Jeff of cheating on her over on Instagram. She aired that junk out where everyone could see it! Come the frak on, stable people with cool heads don't do that kind of stuff.
NO, I don't believe a word of what she says as truth. Jeff is innocent until proven guilty and I'm betting he will end up suing her for defamation. Patently false are the words I read in the article.

But still, head to head match up between Coach Self and WIlliams? I'll take Bill every day of the week. He is undefeated against Roy. He beat him once when he was at Illinois and then 3 times since hes been at KU. Thats no fluke. He is just better.

Take a look at the last 10 years for example. Which team that won the national title didnt belong to the east coast mega media outlet?
ZERO. thats how many. Well shoot 2008 was 9 years ago so change that number to 1. Every other team to win the national title since then has been attached to the east coast. Uconn, Duke, UNC, Louisville, Kentucky...all of them. Its stacking the decks in the favor of the east coast because thats where all the money is in college ball.
Will KU win another title during Bill Self's tenure? I sure believe he will get another ring, hang another banner, cut down more nets. He is just too good.

@JayHawkFanToo I also respectfully disagree about the NC bathroom bill. Roe v Wade got to supreme court, so did other hot button issues. This has all the potential to be a very heated topic of discrimination. I'm not saying it will get there, just that it has the potential to. Its completely mental. But, it is discrimination and given the right circumstances or the right incident, right case. Yah, it could get that far.

Speaking of Frank. Ive been thinking that we as KU fans might need to be ok with him getting snubbed in the draft.
My thing is, who the hell doesn't draft the consensus all American and NPOY in the first round!? It doesn't make sense. Frank deserves a 1st round pick. BUT, he might not get it, simply because he is under 6ft.
His thing is, if that happens, it'll just motivate him even more to prove them wrong and to make any team he lands with better. I give Isaiah Thomas as an example. IT is an All Star and starting for the Celtics. He got picked #60 in his draft. IT is smaller than Frank! he is listed at 5'9"
Frank is a beast. Which ever team picks him up with their draft choice or off of free agency after summer league will get the steal of the draft this year. I am certain he will land with a team. He just might not get picked in the 1st round like we all know he deserves.

@JayHawkFanToo Coach Self has been prescient in his ability to manage KU hoops as its leader and coach since he arrived here. But, if what you say could happen and Coach Self got pushed up against the ropes, do you not think he would fight with everything he has and that he would win? I sure as hell do.

I didn't watch the title game. I rarely do watch the title game unless KU is in it.
But, I do believe that the East coast bias is real.

@dylans I hope it works out for him. Personally I'm sad to see him go. He wasn't a dick at KU. Not a thug, not a bad influence. He just didn't fit in Self's system and he made some bad errors in judgement but I cant hold that against him because who doesn't do that when they are in college?

I mean, UNC and Roy are currently involved in some sticky poo with the NCAA and their classes that weren't classes. I also seem to remember you saying something about the title game, in terms of how you changed your feelings about Roy but currently those details escape me.
I am wondering why the change of heart? I mean he is a KU alum and one of KU's best coaches. During his 15 years as head coach of KU he was a Fracking boy scout. I have to believe that he is still the same boy scout. Why would he change his MO this late in his career? It doesn't make sense to me.

Its strange but I don't feel the same level of anxiety over this game tonight as I did before the Purdue game. Maybe its because we have man handled everyone in our way so far, since the NCAAs have started? I don't know, but I'm excited to see our boys play. Its gonna be a good game.

We match up well with Oregon. Four guards, one big. Lots of shooters, play good defense, play good offense.
Thing is. KU has home court advantage. If Oregon even wants to have a fighting chance at beating KU, it has to come out swinging and knock the 6th man out of it.
Call me biased, but I don't see that happening. KU is just too too good. Its crazy what they have done to MSU and Purdue!!
