@jaybate-1.0 Our KU boys just turned into a juggernaut at the right time. They embarrassed and demoralized a very good team. Purdue is a very good team.
3 more games.
But first, KU needs to refocus and refuel their jets for another very good team.
KU is playing defense much better than their Kenpom stats suggest.
They are showing toughness reminiscent of the 2012 team.
KU is playing offense better than any Self coached team to date.
KU has their hands full with Oregon tomorrow.
But, Oregon might have to grow another half dozen hands to deal with KU right now.

@jaybate-1.0 Reading the other site...it appears that Self is not going to use an "amp" on this game. Our boys think they have ample motivation without said Amp.
Personally? I'm nervous as hell. KU is good. Real good. But we find ourselves in a completely different situation.
We have a team full of runners and small ball gunners. I wouldn't say small in the post but definitely a size disadvantage in the post against Purdue who can shoot it just as good as we can. Its crazy.
If KU can keep it a single possession game til the final couple minutes, I like our chances.
Those guys live a breath on crunch time adrenaline rushes.

@jayballer54 I tell you what tho KU fans. My bracket bit the dust when 'Nova and Duke and Louisville bailed out early. All were very good teams seemingly on a hot streak.
@rocketdog Its absolutely mental! I don't think Roy likes to play KU at all. KU is a HUGE part of him and we all know how attached to KU he is. He wears his loyalties on his sleeve, or left chest as the case maybe. Remember in 08 when he wore a Jayhawk to the national title game?
I'm sure it doesn't help matters any that Coach Self has his ##. 3-0 vs UNC since he's been here.
Why are we expending energy on WSU?
@drgnslayr Yeah, that's something isn't it? How Purdue is gonna have to try and stop KU. Can their bigs move and shift their feet quick enough to avoid all the fouls?
Can Lucas stay out of foul trouble himself and can Coleby have another career night if needed?
KU needs to use the crowd as their 6th man in this one.
I think it'll be a tight game. I'm kinda nervous but Coach Self will have our boys ready.

@REHawk You know what, I don't really feel that way about Vick. Especially knowing about the trash talking and blatant attempts to intimidate our KU boys by MSU players. Case in point. Frank getting toe to toe glaring at MSU's big guy, the very same who is a friend of Josh's, both were talking at eachother. Its just game and I think Vick was just trying to give it back to MSU.
Sure, Vick's had his share of stupid decisions but he's a college kid. Werent we all like that? I sure as hell was.
@wissox Vick didn't just stare him down, he flat out yelled some Ish at the guy. I thought it was brilliant but he so deserved that Tech for it
@jaybate-1.0 I really didn't think the refs were favoring either side...but reading your post has shone the light on how inexperienced I still am about the sport by way of foul calls. I remember seeing that terrible call on Josh, zero contact at all. I also remember seeing replay of one call that they got right when initially I was like WTF was that?!
So, yeah, I still think I'm relatively naïve on how the fouls are called but I think the refs made some good ones as well.
PS. my two favorite moments in the game were when Josh threw down that nasty dunk after a drive to the hoop in the second half and Frank Mason going toe to toe with that big, Bridges, I think? Freeking awesome!

@jaybate-1.0 Yep. As much as I dislike Kentucky ( The dislike has lessened since we beat them at RUPP) I really wanted UK to kick Marsha's ass. It wasn't an ass kicking but it was a win and WSU goes home early. I'm good.

I just want to say that I totally despise UCLA now. Lonzo Ball, his brothers, his dad, they can all go to hell. That POS father most of all. I mean, that idiot is saying his kids are better than Steph Curry, Russ Westbrook, Lebron James, right now. RIght now! He also guarantees that UCLA will win the title this year!!
