@Kcmatt7 Sark is in trouble. They have a top 10 recruiting class every year. A good coach? He'd fart out 8 or 9 wins easy every season.

Tarleton Game Thread • Nov 13, 2021 04:12 PM

@rockchalkjayhawk I like Adams too. Starting to think that the Wilson 4-game suspension - though bad for him - was good for the team. No way that Coach cannot play Adams or Clemence. Will Wilson see a decrease in minutes? Yeah. But it is good for the team. Agbaji? If he keeps going like he is, could be a lottery pick.

Tarleton Game Thread • Nov 13, 2021 05:40 AM

Zach will start at the 4 next year.

Signing Day • Nov 13, 2021 05:35 AM

A young Mitch Richmond-like comparison for Rice, okay... My god, if true, get on campus dude. Please.

It's really the blatant lies that stand out to me.

In essence, K was and is a fake holier-than-thou who can do no wronger. Talks about doing things right and the integrity of the game,,,, while being the biggest and best stacked-deck Doc Holliday-like cheater. And like Holliday, he'll go down in history as a good guy when, in fact, ehh that's kind of iffy.

Non-KU Games • Nov 12, 2021 06:06 AM

@wissox K is not a victim, please let that go. He has victimized schools though, yeah I said it. He is a conniving snitch, period.

No shit, Sherlock! • Nov 12, 2021 06:01 AM

Texas is going to own Calipari. He's toast - my prediction - in about three years.

Takeaways from Game #1 • Nov 12, 2021 05:51 AM

@drgnslayr oh the portal is going to benefit us every year bigtime.

OBJ — yay or nay to Chiefs • Nov 11, 2021 02:00 PM

Surprisingly, I agree with most, though not a fan of the selfish diva either. He would basically be a cheap rental for the rest of the season, and a free agent in 2022 if he didn't work out.

ZUBY • Nov 11, 2021 04:35 AM

That's going to be a scary good frontcourt.

@wissox when he transferred.

Takeaways from Game #1 • Nov 11, 2021 04:13 AM

@rockchalkjayhawk More than solid frosh class. Was impressed with all three of them.

No shit, Sherlock! • Nov 11, 2021 04:04 AM

@BShark He did have some dudes, and was building something. I've wondered a time or two if he regrets going to South Carolina.

I know nothing, but would guess it falls to 0 if we get blasted in sanctions.

Bro, I've said this before, and people think that I'm high.... I don't think they have a case. All they have is innuendo, whispering and filling in alot of blanks.

If they had something/anything, we would have already been smacked.

@mayjay said in Cam Martin:

First time I have heard of a grad student doing it, but I guess he must be in a 2-year program?

Well, maybe, since I'm not sure what level of PhD that Methusalah Lightfoot was working on when he red-shirted.

Lol... It makes alot of sense though, we're deep. With Udeh coming next year and Cam having a year of practice under his belt, it will allow the staff to concentrate recruiting-wise on other areas.

All KU commits are signing, even MJ Rice..

So,,, what are the chances of Rice joining the team? 60/40 at this point?

@wrwlumpy I love your un-PC qualities 😂

The KU 247 reporter left for another job and it hasn't been filled yet.

So what do you all think? Maybe we should get @jayballer67 to take the job.

Cam Martin • Nov 10, 2021 05:31 PM

@Texas-Hawk-10 thanks. I didn't see that.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 05:30 PM

@Crimsonorblue22 thank you.

Cam Martin • Nov 10, 2021 03:54 PM

Saw a post somewhere where someone was basically saying that Cam will redshirt this year. If true, it makes sense, McCormack will be gone with Ernest (Hemingway) Udeh coming in. Any skinny?

Couple of moves in the last day. Rylan Griffen committed to Alabama. Mark Mitchell removed KU from his list. Two things we knew but needed the final decision on.

Yep.

We are on our own now trying to find info lol. Chasen was at least a very active reporter on 247. It's some ghost town shit now on the vip board.

@BShark why is that?

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 03:28 PM

That was a confidence building statement win, no doubt. I am really looking forward to this season. Michigan State came ready yet had no answers, and we were shorthanded. I still gotta print out our schedule. When is the next game? Agbaji was a monster.

2022 Recruiting Thread • Nov 10, 2021 05:56 AM

Andrew White? Who's that?

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 05:42 AM

@FarmerJayhawk oh no doubt, Paolo is a beast... Bring 'em on.

Takeaways from Game #1 • Nov 10, 2021 05:21 AM

I feel you, have a good feeling about this team, total rout and we were shorthanded. Agree with you about Dave, he's going to have to embrace a rebounding and passing role - it's just the way it is.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 05:13 AM

P.S. - glad we signed Pettiford and not Ty Ty.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 05:10 AM

@FarmerJayhawk That's a good thing... I'm on a time delay - DVR - but what do you think about Duke and Kentucky? I am not impressed. Duke looked solid, but only because Kentucky sucked so bad.

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 10, 2021 03:10 AM

Thoughts? ... Rock Chalk Jayhawk.. Not impressed with either Duke or Kentucky.

You got it, they D'd up. I was impressed (Agbaji, Remy and others no-brainers) with Braun. It seemed there for a stretch that either he or Adams were there for tips or offensive and defensive rebounds.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 02:17 AM

Not the full lineup, but dominated. Not lying, I am pretty excited about this team's chances.

I know. What I'm saying is that he is too damn good to redshirt anyway.

Ah my b. Misread that as you asking for him to

Hell no @FarmerJayhawk! That guy can play.

How can you keep Pettiford and Adams off the court? You can't.

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:42 AM

@BShark you're right, Pettiford is a future star

Michigan State Game Thread • Nov 10, 2021 01:42 AM

Lol... Does anyone still think that Adams is going to redshirt?

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 09, 2021 03:09 PM

Let's get it going.... Ready for some Jayhawk bball!

Mahomes • Nov 09, 2021 03:07 PM

@mayjay without question, unless he gets it together quickly, we're going to need a new OC after this season - ditto DC.

The Braves was a good story this year, under .500 at the all-star break.

Jayballer, Packers is a very good team and I am certain that they will make playoffs.

I had a lot of respect for Aaron R, however, him not being honest and transparent about inoculation was a major disappointment.

Rodgers though still playing at a high level has become a self-loving, grandstanding diva. "Yeah, I've been immunized," which was a damn lie - he should be suspended for two games after passing protocol.

2022 Recruiting Thread • Nov 09, 2021 12:15 AM

@approxinfinity that guy had talent. I was expecting him to star. Another guy? Micah Downs. What happened to those two?

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 09, 2021 12:12 AM

@Oldmanhawk KU 78 - MS 64

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 09, 2021 12:10 AM

@approxinfinity May the Schwartz be with us, always. I'll be back later guys, gotta take Barf for a walk.

Early Michigan St thoughts • Nov 08, 2021 05:16 PM

@KirkIsMyHinrich agree that we'll miss Wilson. At any rate, it'll be a good test, and others will have to step up.

We've picked up 44 wins against UK in the Bill Self Era. And if I were a betting man that expands this season...

I am thinking that it will too... You know, looking at his career, Calipari has never really had any league competition. UMass? Nope. Memphis? No. UK? Not really. I wonder - if he is still around - how he is going to feel in a few years about Beard owning both him and the SEC every season? Serious question.

UK's record last year was what? That - with that talent while in that conference! - showcased a serious lack of coaching.
