Well said it's like Christan tweeted out " PLAY for the name that's on the front of your Jersey- -not what it says on the back. - Now there was Anothe Dog that was a stud at Ku played with heart , guts, and didn't back down for anything or anyone. Look at Jalen Wilson- when things got bd we needee that bucket he was there , didn't always work out but the most time it did instead of didn't.

A lot of these guys now--- -they don't give a rats ass about the school, they are going to the highest bidder.- IF I'm paying boy you better do something- Dickinson is such a bad. fit-- - I'll say this yet again - - -Where the hell is THE DOG on this team ?-- -Where is the leader ?- -Someone who is going to take charge and refuse to lose? - -ANYONE ?

@benshawks08 I've been on Dickinson for awhile now. The guy is just- - just -- so methodical/ - he is an absolute disaster on defense - he is a sloth , I have mentioned many , many times sure against smaller not as athletic if that's what you wanna call Dickinson I don't think he is athletic at all but against smaller guys SURE he will go like for 20 - - 25 points and like 10 plus rebounds BUT you match him up against same caliber talent , same size he is pretty much gone -- even wash.

Even as a KU fan there are times even i Think Dickinson is a dirty player, I think he cries to the officials to much , just play big boy let you actions /play speak for you.

He is terrible from the three he makes one then look out his percentage is un Godly- the guy needs to lock in down low if that's where they are running their offense through post up and finish with authority- -his explosion is like two inches he gets beat on the boards a lot by even smaller more fluid / athletic players , most of Hunters rebounds come flat footed . People complain because we run a slow down offense - -- not the rest of the guys fault , hell we get down floor an have to wait for Dickinson to catch up three quarters of the time. I myself have thought since day one Dickinson was just a bad fit with this team.

@dylans So true, this is what I was just mentioning to BeddieKU23 --these things go in cycles, w are down right now but I have total faith we will be back , and we will be back soon.- - It's just that we have been really good for so long that when we have what we consider a bad year it just amplifies things.- I would neve be in favor of Firing Coach Self, he has done to much, if he wants to go then I thank him for all the success that he HAS brought the program.

On a personal note for him what does he have left to accomplish ? - Ha won multiple NCAA championships- - Won like what fourteen constitutive Conference Championships- - Won Big Twelve Coach of the year how many times ? -- He is in the College HOF , nothing left - -How many players has went to the NBA coming from this program under him ?- -If he wants to leave then cool and wish nothing but the best for him -- I hold no ill will towards the Man. The way I look at it we were good before Bill came here and we will be fine after Bill is gone. KU will not hve any problem finding another top notch proven Coach

@BeddieKU23 I fully understand my friend. I have just now fully got myself to the understanding that there is a lot more to life then College Basketball. I too during the game get so caught up and words fly out my mouth that later as time goes forward I think more rational and only then understand that it's A GAME for gosh sakes. There is more important things like my health and if I keep going my BP rises could end up causing myself more problems. I appreciate your posts & respect your thoughts.

Always enjoy what you have to say. I've made some enemies here because of myself getting so wrapped up. People say some things and I'm already worked up and well just not good. As frustrated as I get the one thing I will stand by is -- Coach Self will not be fired. /the guy has done to much he has been a solid fixture for this institution, has always been vey steady with 20 or 20 plus wins yearly, making the Tourney every year, yes we haven't done as well at times but I know a lot of Schools would die for the success we have had.

These things go in cycles if you think about it , now we are in that down cycle, but just look-- - -true U Conn back to back , but where are they at this yr ? - - What the hell has happened to N Carolina, their fan base is probably just going insane. - -Look at Kentucky, with all the talent they have year , after year , after year, people don't think they have under achieved ? We for sure are not some of the upper crust by ourselves -- we will be back. - I think the Portal-- -The NIL -- - this NCAA investigation we had has caused serious issues for awhile -- takes time. -I do think Coach Selfs time left is limited on his own accord I truly feel next year could very well be his last.

@jay4ever Agree with the scoring, we just go through to many stretch's/ dry spells either just non made baskets or stupid turnover after turnover.. Perfect example of this jus the other day against Utah- -we had just tied the score and then promptly I think had like four consecutive trips down the floor wit just really bad turnovers- -you just can't do that.

I've beaten this into the ground like beating a dead horse, I just wish we could get back where it was run , run , run , and then run some more, we just bog down and stall out not fluid at all just looks really ugly a lot of times. Somebody mentioned sure it's easy to run a weave offense, well guess what- - other teams have finally found away to beat that , they just back off / pack the lane let us run that dang thing until we are down to about elven / ten seconds on the clock and then we are in a position where at least 75 % of thee time we end up being forced to force up some ridiculous shot like Dickinson little two foot chippies he manages to clang or a last second three

So ya totally understand on the regression. I can remember when we used to score consistently in the low 80's not we struggle for low 70's

@jay4ever The crazy thing about it is KU is 2nd in the Big Twelve defending the three point shot at 38.7%- -which also ranks 10th Nationally.

Dickinson COULD be a real force only ONE problem - -well three actually, # 1- - - he is slower then molasses in the Winter time,- - # 2- - -He is a HUGE liability on defense , you get him out to the top of the key and look out-- he gets blitzed which causes help then that in turn causes the help guys man free for easy hoop.- - -# 3 --- -he jumps like an Elephant- -possibly a two inch explosion- - In all seriousness I would love to know what his explosion is for real ? -- He could really be an imposing force. Instead of blocking shots he either stands there with his hands straight up and elite flyers go right over the top of him and he hacks them or they flush on him- -- What is he like 7'2 and 265 I think- -the guy should post up low- -fricken stay there and take the ball to the hole instead of trying these little two foot bank or finger roles

Well guys I have been doing some serious soul searching and really at that crossroad/ and realization. Before I go on any further on a personal note to you all I want to publicly want to apologize to all- - -each and everyone of you that I have offended/ Got into some heated exchanges/and differences, see that's part of my problem and am truly sorry for that.

This haw been part of my problem when it comes to KU. Even though unlike a lot of you as much as I love KU even though I have never attended one single class , or tried to obtain any degree , or spent one minute in any dorms I have found myself getting quite possibly getting TO wrapped up with our sports teams-- -taking Basketball - -Football to seriously. Which in turn has gotten me into many of heated discussions or whatever when people start talking crap or not. Perfect example is some exchanges here on this site. I try but in the end I just care for the University too much and hate to see failure.

So I'm sorry my friends if I have offended , I know many think I'm a ass- -quite possibly I am . I let my emotions and love for the Jayhawks' carry me away. Ask my wife - -my dogs - -my cats , come game time and we playing like crap it's look out nobody wants to be around me, I find words that I didn't even know existed - -When we lose to teams I know we are better then like last night it pisses me off to no end

My crossroads is this : I am now at a age where health wise I've got to change my approach. I have to realize there is life after KU Sports , actually I'm like this with all my teams KU - -Green Bay and Yes the Yankees, it just chaps my ass when people wanna talk smack about them but most of all KU.

When KU loses like this it takes me days to really chill out, think level. Like I was saying things have to change for me , there is life after sports- -it's just a game for GOD'S Sakes much more to life then that, now I just got to accept that.

Thing is like I said at this point and time in my life I have to step back some, my health is much more important ----- going on seventy one years old , not in the best of health, Got my pace maker , blood pressure issues high blood pressure/low blood pressure and pills that cost 60,000 dollars for a thirty day supply.-- As crazy as it sounds I truly, really am concerned I'm going to one of these times gt my blood pressure so high or something that I am going to be in trouble health wise from a crappy game- -or have a stroke.- - I'm really serious on this guys.--

So I have decided to step back- -relax-- and take different approach try to enjoy the game for the game.-- I am probably not going to post nearly as much I know YIPPEE right ?- -Oh I will still be around check things out -- just not get my shorts twisted if I don't agree, and just not respond--- life is not worth it.

You guys are great it's a pleasure having this site and be able to inner act with friends. I dunno is it right to call you guys friends ? - -I mean never have seen a single one of yo in real life - - never have talked to any of you in person , is it possible to be a friend without that - -anyways I got to take care of myself -- not getting nny younger.
