But I’m with you on the win though!
I'll make a prediction for what it's worth, which ain't much.
We come out slow and cold, shots not falling, and they go up a bit, then a bit more. we fight back, garrett having a great first half, but still down a handful at the half. Hoping for the big pep talk in the locker room to work magic, they burn us right off the bat, but we stay close but still behind for 10 minutes. Then we tie it up, Braun going off from the 3, then go down by handful again with 5 left. Doke fouls out, but McCormack goes into beast mode. Their 3s that kept them in the lead stop falling because their legs are giving out from our good D. Then, a weeklong rested Dot turns on the afterburners towards the end and we win by 5 with his free throws.

Maybe a weird pick here, but man, I still imagine what a force of nature a fully healthy Embiid and a fired up Wiggs would have been at the Dance in ‘14.
Back to the original question, I’m sure hoping that having some weaker teams keep the top teams from being so beat up and worn down at the end of conference play. Interesting to see how it plays out.
And I’m with the others, Baylor is the real deal this year. Not saying we won’t beat them next time, just that unless something bad happens along the lines of, oh I don’t know, say an Embid getting hurt right before the Big Frickn Dance (grrr, we so would have probably won that year) then I totally see Baylor as an FF team.
