@bskeet Of course, I wont sell anyone's information. That's a good point about the T and C. There may be a plugin for the board or features on the new versions for subscribing to mailings.
As an aside, I stalled out on moving us to the new version of the board because the upgrade path just didn't work. I was considering moving us to the hosted version of NodeBB, which would mean they would maintain upgrading the board for us, and maybe doing a Kickstarter to sustainably fund us which would be pretty nominal, but my ideas on this are half baked at this point. Right now I'm enjoying being just talking about sports and not worrying about it until I have some time to dig in.

If you guys already reached out to him on twitter I'll stay out of it @Bwag @REHawk. I agree with @dylans that things got pretty contentious at times in a bad way, and if HEM has decided to avoid our board thus far because he doesn't need that stress then good on him. I miss the insightful analysis that his threads often sparked, but also things have been so agreeable recently. And that's really nice. Hope he's enjoying this year's hawks.

Speaking of Devonte, I rewatched the Duke game last night and on second viewing it was apparent that Devonte had a great game. Quality play on both ends, stepping up offensively when we needed it and running the O efficiently when Frank had to sit.
If it weren't for the cramps I'd say he has a chance to off tomorrow.
I agree that we could and should see Svi run the O second half if we can build a comfortable lead and I liked seeing Josh driving and distributing in transition O. I think both those guys will do some damage and hopefully Doke can keep his wind to anchor the frontcourt.

@approxinfinity also you're going to catch fouls as a smaller defender because you try to compensate for height by getting closer to the shooters release point
@justanotherfan :100: I also think that Frank isn't going to be as disruptive doubling down as a longer defender . Not playing to Frank's strength which is footspeed and despite a tremendous vertical when you're jumping out at a shooter rather than up you can't make up for length
@justanotherfan agree that the 2s were better than 3s. I wondered about Frank's second half double downs. Do you.think those were endorsed by Self?
One thing nobody mentioned is that Kennard was able to get midrange jumpshots at will around the foul line. I don't know if that was just a match up thing, but other than a couple rim runs early on, those midrange jumpers was the only reliable penetration Duke had against us. I wonder if his ability to get that shot resulted in a half time adjustment of Self having the guards double down on cutters, leaving wing 3s wide open with Frank trying to close back out.
Udoka is going to be on Wooden watch next year.
JJ is gonna stop getting in foul trouble, Frank and Devonte will stay home in half court d on 3pt shooters, Udoka will continue to get better stamina, Bragg's swag is coming on, and we'll start putting together some decimating 20-2 runs of some bad teams.
I love that we can be a lob team one game, a slashing team the next, turn on the on-ball pressure and create turnovers after halftime... we have so many faces this year. Bill likes planning ahead, it makes it less predictable when we can be so many things so well.

You see that little extra push of his arms in that shot? He thinks so quick, he knew he was tired and has the body control to alter that jumpshot to get a little extra lift and hit it.

Its true. I don't think Franks doubling down in the paint has helped much, but has hurt a lot.
