It seemed like the team had something to play for. Sure, OU got off to a hot start, but this team seems to have no resiliency. In their defense, it is a young team.
As good as D Lawson is, he doesn't seem to be the leader that is needed to take a team on his shoulders the way others have.

that was the worst series coming out of a time out that I have ever seen from a Bill Self team. Period
Not sure if it's an aberration or simply a true reflection of who we are outside of AFH.
I will say this: It is ugly and I hope I don't see this again for a long time. It reminds me of Baylor.
The chart showing #3 and #4 against the field all time is really illuminating. There's a much bigger difference between these seeds than I realized (4 seems much more likely to be upset by a lower seed.)

As for where we would like to play-- I guess the only place that is safe is AFH this year. Unfortunately, being shipped to play 50 miles away might be too far for this team to feel a 'home' advantage.
