NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Apr 02, 2023 02:45 AM

@Kcmatt7 probably even if they don't honestly

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Apr 02, 2023 02:44 AM

@FarmerJayhawk in terms of banners. It's pretty tough to argue

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Apr 02, 2023 01:34 AM

UCONN is just good. Very good. The end

KU Ladies tourney time • Apr 02, 2023 12:56 AM

I don't think at Kansas you hang that even if there is a banner... sorry

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Apr 02, 2023 12:54 AM

@rockchalkjayhawk I should have clarified. I didn't "visit" said hooker... just happened to be the first thing we saw entering the city. Lol. I was 14 years old. So it's been a minute

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Apr 01, 2023 10:14 PM

@mayjay haha. Ya. Lots of monuments and the like... capital building, white house, etc.

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Apr 01, 2023 01:02 PM

Ya that Clark chick is insane. Watched the last 2 games Iowa played just because she's exciting to watch.

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Apr 01, 2023 12:59 PM

Definitely a lady of the night. But it was not night. Lol.

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Apr 01, 2023 02:19 AM

First thing I saw in Washington DC... our illustrious Nation's capital.. was a hooker...

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Apr 01, 2023 12:43 AM

He surely isn't gonna wanna rebuild Gtown... Cooley is a terrific coach imo but that's not happening overnight. HD wants to win now I think. Syracuse? Kind of same story?

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Apr 01, 2023 12:20 AM

@Texas-Hawk-10 this all makes sense. But we have 1 thing going that the others don't necessarily and that's winning. That's why he went back to Michigan this season and it didn't happen. He could be feeling a Lil hungry. CS is hopefully preparing to throw the proverbial kitchen sink as we speak or already has

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Mar 31, 2023 11:45 PM

@BShark especially one that can hit from outside. I would say he wasn't at his best this season. I watched Michigan quite a bit and I think that whole team was just so incohesive for whatever reason. It put all of them in a different funk on any given night

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Mar 31, 2023 11:38 PM

I know we don't necessarily need a big... but I would go get Hunter Dickinson just because....

Also heard a rumor that McCullar may not go after all. Not sure the validity

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 27, 2023 06:52 PM

@Kcmatt7 I mean they wouldn't necessarily have to "fire" him tho right? Isn't that kinda part of why you have the interim tag.

Another question. Is UT kind of backed into a different corner here? Guy just won the conference tournament and took his team to the E8 while wearing the interim tag and basically getting it thrust upon him at the last minute thru unforeseen circumstances. If they don't give him the job, who else is really going to want it? "You mean this wasn't good enough for UT under the circumstances?"

Any other interested party may be thinking that way and not want the pressure of that atm. UT may not honestly have many other options right now, and probably no better ones

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 27, 2023 03:19 PM

@benshawks08 hanging banners is so nice. And definitely what every team strives for every season. I think I might lean HEM's way on that.

But I will say there would be some hard seasons to watch in that arc of a story... if you're rewarded every 5-6 years with a banner tho? Idk. It's tough.

People often think Self has underperformed in post season. And it has weight. But it's all what perspective you look at it. He's the winningest coach here in post season I believe. Probably regular season too. Hard to argue the methods either way.

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 26, 2023 10:52 PM

Does UT officially hire Terry? I feel like that's just not the UT thing to do. I've thought that all along. Even tho he probably earned it

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 26, 2023 10:28 PM

When Miami's big guy went out with 4 fouls. The were able to really disrupt UT's offense. They were never able to run a set and it took them out of their rhythm and they never got it back. This was actually a pretty entertaining game. Alot of fouls though

Who would ever replace Self? • Mar 26, 2023 01:33 PM

CS still quiet as far as I've seen. Not sure how to take that atm. Making me nervous

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 26, 2023 02:45 AM

@kjayhawks Huskies looked so good first 15 games of the season. I thought they were unbeatable then. Then got into conf play and obviously didn't look as stout alot of the time. Back to looking great so far this tourney. Probably gonna be tough to beat.

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 11:51 PM

I'm sure they will still need to make a sweet E8 DVD and are now the new dominant power in the big12 tho... 🙄

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:55 AM

I mean... the Princeton coach is about to get a job right?

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:39 AM

They played inspired @Crimsonorblue22. Fun to watch no matter

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:38 AM

Big12 gets 2 EE's and a title appearance or win? Then we're lookin at it a Lil different. But teams gotta perform when it matters most essentially

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:36 AM

@BShark so how I look at it if that transpired? They were actually probably the better league. Imo

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:33 AM

@BShark I see your point. But also... talking heads all on the 12 band wagon this year saying best overall league in maybe the last 20 years. Tough to get there with ACC tourney success as soon as last year without getting at least 1 if not 2 to the final weekend imo

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:30 AM

The league is looking decent. Idk if UT wins but they need to. Without that? The most dominant league in the last whatever years starts looking pretty lackluster. You bout gotta get multiple teams in the last weekend. And I dont really buy into the "crapshoot" argument on that

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:24 AM

@wissox I actually don't mind it with KSU. Duke was never Duke without UNC. And vise versa... the basketball world simply can't handle a KU that has had to deal with a Mancraptown champion. Or maybe even Final 4. That said... I'm low key on the Blue Jay bandwagon as my daughter is currently 2/3 of the way to getting her Doctorate there

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:20 AM

@jayballer67 no

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:15 AM

@wissox I actually think the Cats have a better shot at that than UT

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:07 AM

@jayballer67 there is definitely a way that happened. Shit like that happens all the time. I mean you don't believe Oswald shot JFK right? Lol

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:03 AM

1 down. 1 to go

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 25, 2023 12:03 AM

Gonna lose the remaining number 1s tonite?

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 11:34 PM

Alabama lookin like Apollo Creed ATM. Will it be Rocky. Or the sequel??? Lol

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 11:16 PM

@BShark feel like that's typical Self montage... when he knows he doesn't have the horses overall. Make them play bad

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 11:08 PM

Eh... getting away from Sdsu

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:56 PM

@BShark I have not done alot of that myself. But I believe it

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:55 PM

Whoa. Big "and 1" there. SDSU not backing down so far

Actually I'm pretty sure that was the other game... I'm getting F'd up tonite... lol

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:53 PM

Ya for sure man.. he is a terrific player

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:52 PM

@BShark no... dude... only a witness so far 🤪

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Mar 24, 2023 10:45 PM

@Texas-Hawk-10 oh nice. You definitely put in the work I was unwilling to. Haha. Maybe I do have some delusions of grandeur then. I just "Ernestly" like watchin the kid play 😊

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:41 PM

Miami is good. They should win this

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:38 PM

It makes sense I guess... guys gotta be like 137 years old

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:31 PM

Jesus. Guess I been hiding in the dark. 🤣

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Mar 24, 2023 10:30 PM

@Texas-Hawk-10 or was he? Per minute? I'd have to research that. I feel like Doke played ALOT more. Udeh gets after the ball a lot. Disrupts defensively almost all the time. Something he would obviously have to back down on a Lil. Like pick his moments if he were playing more obviously

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:28 PM

@BShark haha

Isn't fisher one of those guys that you would classify as tough with a week to prepare tho? Crafty Ole veteran. Idk.

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:23 PM

They are playing inspired ball overall. And that is just fun to watch @Jethro

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Mar 24, 2023 10:22 PM

@Texas-Hawk-10 could be misremembering on my part and I'll admit that up front. But I would submit Doke wasn't ridiculous outside of 5 ft as a freshman either

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Mar 24, 2023 10:20 PM

He did pretty well in limited minutes for a frosh Big here tho right? I mean don't we kinda need to look at it in that light? Hasn't been alot of KU freshman Big that shined

KU Offseason Chef Bill Cooking Thread • Mar 24, 2023 10:13 PM

Do I have delusions of grandeur or does Udeh have the potential to be a monster? Like a more athletic Doke....

I'm actually excited to see where that goes.

I have our corny catch phrase at the ready.

"We Ernestly believe!" How bout it? 😁

NCAA NON- KU GAMES • Mar 24, 2023 10:03 PM

@jayballer67 I hear ya. But they are just hustling for their industry as pretty much everyone does. I don't think it would matter who the announcers were. You know it's getting a mention.
