N.C. State is further along in the appeal process than KU. It filed its response to the NCAA months ago, and the NCAA in early February filed its response to N.C. State’s response. The NCAA’s enforcement staff was not persuaded by the arguments made by the N.C. State attorneys, who are from the same firm that's representing KU.
NCAA Enforcement staff vehemently disagreed with the case the Bond, Schoeneck & King firm laid out. In particular, the NCAA forcefully argued that it could use evidence from the federal fraud trial as sufficient corroborating evidence to justify sanctioning N.C. State.

TCU was basically running 5 out with enough ball screens to force switches trying to get those mismatches on the perimeter. It was their game plan to get Dok defending outside. Hopefully adjustments will be made now before the tournament to fix this issue.

The way the PER formula is constructed, the PER of an average NBA player is always 15. The following is a breakdown of what various PER values indicate:
All-time great season: 35+
Hands-down MVP: 30-35
Strong MVP candidate: 27.5-30
Long-shot MVP candidate: 25-27.5
Definite All-Star: 22.5-25
Borderline All-Star: 20-22.5
Second offensive option: 18-20
Third offensive option: 16.5-18
Slightly above-average player: 15-16.5
Rotation player: 13-15
Non-rotation player: 11-13
Fringe roster player: 9-11
Player who won't stick in the league: 5-9
The all-time leader in career NBA PER is Michael Jordan with 27.91 over his career. Other players in the all-time top ten include Shaquille O'Neal (26.43), David Robinson (26.18), Wilt Chamberlain (26.13) and Bob Pettit (25.37).

@Crimsonorblue22 yes. Much higher mortality rate. Also harder to catch. And I wonder about the numbers - if most people don’t know they have it or it presents light symptoms you would never know it was the dreaded Coronavirus as opposed to a common cold. My supposition is that only the really sick people get diagnosed correctly. Also flu mortality numbers are way under reported globally - China doesn’t count people who died of another things brought on by the flu as a flu death.

@Marco in an old folks home. Also they’re saying it’s been in Washington State for 6 weeks. It’s more widespread than reported. The mortality rate is likely well below 1%, it’s not a death sentence.
@jayballer73 Possible, but not likely. The death rate is less than 1.2% its overblown as a destructive factor. The psychological damage it’s done to the market is far worse than the actual COVID-19.
Do I want it? Hell no, but I don’t want pneumonia either.
