Oh what a game last night, glad I watch. Ya Jo Jo lost this one, but man what an entertaining game playing the Thunder.

Jo Jo has developed some bark - kind of nasty. Philly lost in triple over time last night against the Thunder but still what a great game. Like they said on sports Center felt like a big playoff game. 119-117 triple overtime.

Jo, Jo and Westbrook exchanging some pleasantries - no harm - -no foul but Jo. Jo giving as well as taking. 1st time in his career he has played this much. - -49 minutes for the game. he was clutch won the end Philly knew who they needed to feed. - -34 points - - 8 rebounds - -6 assists - - 2 blocks - but did have 7 turnovers STILL mercy I loved watching - the guy is a BEAST, has developed some attitude lol. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

This is the same guy, think what anyone will of him direct messaging Silvio, that broke the initial news that Silvio wanted to enroll early. So pretty safe to say Silvio told him directly.

There is still some more stuff to do before he can play though.

Well I'm beginning to think maybe at best - -No news on Silvio today, as in like - -he didn't get his test score from his SAT today.

IF he did get it and passed it - -I'm sure we would of heard SOMETHING by now it's 12 :00 CST - - he would of been all over twitter posting Imma coming now. - yet - -we have nothing.

We have had a week off , no games. Maybe a little rest I know people not looking for much out of Sam , I'm not either at this point. He can't hurt though , even to spell some guys sometimes. I think as time goes on you might see more minutes of relief for him. - I think just having him - -a little more depth another body can't hurt.

Was there some talk of him possibly spelling front line players a bit also? - Thought I had heard/seen that some where. - -You think there is a possibility that he might spell LaGerald for a bit? Play that spot a little at times? - Got some pretty good hops. - They have said him and Vick are probably the two most athletic on the team, maybe he can help there a little.

I mean Sure he isn't going to Score much probably but Neither does Mitch. Turned on and watched some High School ball tonight. - -Turned out it was Memphis East playing Webster Groves out of Missouri - -the kid Carte that signed to St louis - was playing BUT

Memphis East is ranked # 1 now and both of the younger Lawson's play on it Chandler and Johnathan . - - Plus James Wiseman also plays on Memphis East - -kid is a monster. - come to find out Penny Hardaway is the Coach of Memphis East - how cool is that?

Here is what Coach Self said in his interview about DeSousa: Silvio is expected to get his SAT score back Friday. But even if his score is good enough to make him academically eligible Self says there were still other hurdles that had to be cleared before DeSousa could suit up for the Jayhawks.

Everynody ( has to be approved by the NCAA clearinghouse ) Self said that process has already started.The thing with Silvio that is unique is we are dealing with Angola and our ability to either speak French or Portiquese in a way to get additional information to help him has been some what limited.

So we think he is in pretty good shape depending on his test score.

He could be eligible but not cleared to play until Jan 10th - - He could be eligible and maybe cleared before Christmas, or he could also not make it and not come and stay and play at IMG

So there is questions but the answers will probably take place in the next week to 10 days.

Coach Self says this team has a chance to become deep in a very short amount of time.

He says they are in the 11th hour with Silvio - -that we should probably be getting some kind of answers hopefully within the next week to 10 days.

There were folks arguing that it was actually better to make the tournament every season, than it was to win national titles and miss it every so often. To bag on a team for not making the final four quite frequent is just a reach. - -So many things come into play to be able to do that - it takes ONE bad outing. More cases then not if the teams that knocks you out chances are if you were to play a best of 7 things could be a lot diferent- -but it's one game.

I'm really beginning to wonder how much interest KU has in Harvey at this point, I used to think he was a lock, but I'm beginning to think maybe more interest on his part and not KU's part.

Maybe I'm not right but you know what - I wouldn't be just big time devastated if Zach ended up somewhere else. Out of N Carolina's final 4 appearances during this 20 year span - -they had 6 final fours - they reached the Championship - -3 times

So I would say they had nothing on us there either, the difference if you want to try and find things - would actually be in the Championship game it self - KU is just 1-2 in those appearances. Out of these final 4's reached during this time Duke has reached the Championship game - -4 times - - -Kentucky 4 times - - KU 3 times - -North Carolina 3 times - -- & Arizona 2 times. - -so nothing really drastic about that either

So when you say when we look at the talent - then if that's what we look at then these other teams Duke, Kentucky , & N Carolina for sure should be also reaching the final 4 ALOT more then they have - -it's not as drastic as some make it to be - -again in that 20 year span you mention -Duke the all and mighty powerful Duke has reached the final 4 ONE more time -& the al mighty Kentucky only 2 more times in a TWETNY year span

There is one other thing that three out of these other four teams has accomplished that Ku hasn't. - - -and that is? - -in this same 20 yr span - - Three teams haven't even made the NCAA tourney during this span. - - -North Carolina has failed to even make the tourney 3 years out of this 20 yr span - - -Kentucky has failed to make the tourney 2 times during this span - - & Arizona has failed to make the tourney 1 time during this span. - -How many times has KU made it to the tourney during this same time frame? - - ALL of them - -So I wonder what was going on with all that talent for these teams during those years? - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I've said this before - -I'll say it again Ya Trae is a very good player BUT Trae can win you some games -BUT Trae also can be the main factor or right at the top of losing you games. - -Ya he leads the Nation in scoring - -really good individual stat, but at the end of the day, that's all it is - -an individual stat.

Trae can do a lot of things - -but there are shots of his that are just not high pct shots - -still takes them anyways, he will make some, but there can be times to when competition gets harder he takes those kinds of shots and he is going to shoot you right out of the game. - Makes good passes BUT there are times he tries to make TO FANCY of a pass -I see Oklahoma as a 3rd or 4th place team in the league. -Behind KU , West Virginia , Texas , & possibly TCU. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Looking at the stats, looks like they go about 8 deep for the most part. - -As a Team not really a very strong shooting pct team from the field 41.8 % - - as a Team only 69.7% from the line BUT their starters are pretty strong - -going off the stats it looks like the five that get the most time - -3 of them shooting in the high 70's % wise - so can't become a foul fest looks like. - - -Not good at all in the 3 pt shooting only 36 %.

We have just got to be tougher and defend better - -ALOT better , and take care of business .You know maybe I'm WAY off here probably am but I just think maybe at the present, when Doke comes out maybe we need for the walk on to come in Sosinski not tryig to put the knock on Mitch - BUT just more bulk, able to hold his ground a little better. I KNOW he isn't going to score a lot if any - but really Mitch doesn't do that a lot either. - -I have just got to believe he could go to the boards better he did it in his Juco playing time anyways. It's not like he is in for 15-20 minutes a game but in spot foul trouble times, maybe just an better option because of his size - -bigger, would also be better then forcing Clay into a situation like he has been also. - Again Taller more build to him then Clay that's for sure.

Well read this morning that Silvio in an interview said or so it sounds that Friday will be the day he should know the test score from his SAT, and sounds like he is feeling pretty positive about it.

A buddy of mine and I were talking last night, and his tweet was part of the conversation. We kind of wondered hell he could have his test score, found out he was good to go and was in the process of packing when he tweeted.

Well found this from a poster off another KU site. - I realize that yes probably most of us already pretty well know most of this -heard this before -So don't hammer the delivery / message guy lol.

This guy SEEMS to know what he is talking about, seems like he has had some inside information on other topics - -such as the inside poop on Devon and such - seems like he doesn't just blow smoke Sooo:

He had a thread and he stated: Wonder if they ( KU ) will look any better with 3 more scholarship players. - - -Which of course brought up follow responses such as - -you know something? - -What gives - etc - -etc.

So later he say the following: Nothing has been 100% confirmed, you will hear the news as soon as it is, ALL the things are in place, basically just waiting and they don't think it could be for long. He says - -I know it's annoying to wait, but it's MORE annoying for them + for the players so take that in mind.

The two week time period that I ( he ) was told is lining up well. It basically guaranteed BOTH will be playing this season at some point. The 3rd player is Cunliffe who probably won't get a lot of minutes, but still is someone to add in some situations and an improvement.

So guys like I said, I know most of this is already been talked about , but yet again this guy normally turns out some pretty good info. My question is , he talks about a two week timeline BUT a two week timeline from when would be my question?
