seen the mock draft today off zagsblog. it shows Kelly at nu 12 and then what I kinda found a little hard to believe they have Cliff at 27 which would still make him a first round pick. hope nothing but the best for both.
Diallo is 6ft 9 but has a 7ft 4 wing span. MVP at McDonalds all star classic, CO MVP- at the Jordan classic. went off last night for 26 pts, 11 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 blk, and an assist. I've watched this kid through out this year, i feel if he isn't the best, he is one of the top 1 or 2 big men period. unbelievable motor, sooooooo much better then Zimmerman. Zimmerman is way to soft, plays way to much away from the basket, just another 7ft kid wanting to try and play guard position, watch him in all 3 games and he never had over like 5 rebs in any of the games. Diallo has agility, seen more then once sweet spin moves leaving defenders grasping at thin air. seen him take the ball to the hole with force laast night man went for block and Diallo stuck it in his face, and got an and 1. Glad Zimmerman went to UNLV just way to soft.. thing is, our coaching staff has got to start closing the deal on some of these kids. sell the program, put their foot down on the competition's throat.
Callipari is in Canada, to talk to Murray trying to inspire him to re-classify from 2016 to 2015 and was also there to talk to Thon Maker and stated as long as they were there wanted to watch playoff NBA, which some of his formers players were playing today
kind of like this 7 ft kid, ya kinda raw but hey let him develop, I agree leaves his feet to much but is correctible, looks like nice shot blocker, a friend of mine said he was 235 , then another post has him 260 I think I have to agree with the 260 looks bigger then 235. hey he would definitely be a 3 year player at least I'm sure, not necessarily a bad thing take him let him develop. you can see he DOES have some skills
the latest I heard or saw on Diallo, was off 247 sports.com, that was showing that St Johns had puller ahead of us in the latest crystal ball predictions 35% - 29% but like other posters I just can't bring myself in believing he will end up there. they just got the 6ft 11 kid yesterday Yankota Sena then the kid that was suspended during the yr last year who is 6ft 9 his name is Chris Olakpa shot blocker rim protector coming back there next year, seems to me if Mullen believed that Diallo was coming I would think he wouldn't have offered the 6ft 11 kid on top of the fact he is STILL recruiting big guys. then just read Newman is following in Zimmermans footsteps and not going to sign a NLI, put this on top of the fact he is now not going to take any official visits I'm starting to think we might be better of without Newman he just kind of seems like a head case, same kid that said he didn't even want to have to go to college. things are getting crazy
hey ok, so here it is. I just read on one of our sites, I'm sure you have heard its called ROCK CHALK TALK. well hadn't been on for quite some time, so decided to check up on it. and whats one of the 1st headline articles I see? read there that KU and Alabama had agreed to a home and home doubleheader in football/basketball starting with us playing their in tuscalooga in the fall of 2015, and then here in the following season quite the article seems very legit says the football would be played in the afternoon and then the basketball later that same evening could tell more but you just need to check for yourself, said the AD"S zenger and Batle ha agreed and how Alabama had opted out of one of their games and same with us and had quotes from Coach self and such. SO here is the thing sounds very very legit with quotes an such BUT the article was written on APRIL 1st SO am I that big of a fool for falling for it I mean I surpose it could happen, just hadn't heard anything on it before I read today, maybe I just missed it. can someone help me out, is this TRUE or just a big ha ha what a fool, I took it hook line and sinker please let me know, has anyone else heard of anything on this? thanks guys I know I know I'm a HUGE FOOL right/ thanks again
what the hell happened/ anyways its all about desire, want to, they had NO ONE would would get down their butts when they wasn't working so many times it was like these guys were just going thru the motions almost zombie like during games just NO FIRE in their gut very discourgaging we have to get that fixed. we need a take charge guy instead of the guys looking at everyone else, pretty sad when its the coach on the sideline that seems to be involved and or into the game that's the 2 most unsettling things for me
2 things that really frustrated me this year? nu 1 NO inside presence offensively, w had no inside threat at the 5 spot and unless we get a quality big man its going to be a repeat next year, Landen just have to develop, the ball is in his court, he is very weak needs to get a lot stronger holding onto the ball develop his inside game, coach self better take full advantage this summer when he has access to practice time and the games he will be playing to develop these players and work them over nu 2. I have been watching KU hoops for over 50 yrs an di have never seen a team like this that just shows NO FIRE, NO EMOTION, NO LEADERSHIP, NO WANT TO
JayHawkFa not at all to early that's what a fan is you can keep up YEAR ROUND just because its not football season, doesn't mean there isn't news about football. now have seen we are getting transfer from West Virginia a punter
hey I just saw where we landed the nations number 2 kicker from juco route ( Nick Bartolotta ) my question is, would that be for this upcoming season or next season after either way nice land, also is that meaning a plae kicker, or punter? thanks guys ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG
well here to say, really taking notice we are at least getting visits from higher profile players with this staff. Granted it may be just a courtesy visit but still at least their coming. a 5 star running back visited or is visiting out of California najee davis I believe is his name, again yes its just a visit, but I just feel maybe this current group of coaches are attracting at least some how getting these players enough attention to come visit and that CAN'T BE A BAD THING you have to see that as a step in the right direction before you wouldn't dream of seeing such a thing with past staff there has been multiple players coming in to look this off season hopefully he can get us headed in the right direction GO HAWKS
well guys here is my thoughts. With Perry's injury last night, it's already known that he will not play Saturday, and I'm perfectly fine with that Coach Self saying should be good to go for the Big 12 post season tourney. Give that knee time to rest, now there was a question posed from another KU thread, question asked was do we play the starters Saurday, and my response and reasoning is this, I say rest Frank some, not to say don't sit him 100 % but start Devonte let him run the team, let Wayne rest again yes play him a little but for the most part liet him sit let Frank and Wayne be the ones to give the blows maybe 2 or 3 minutes, play Devonte, have Brennan or even get Svi some court time along with Devonte, we can really use these guys, give them more game experience i', speaking more of Svi in this spot, play Landon, get Hunter more playing time Saturday let the front line consist of the 4 of Jamari, Kelly, and let Landon and Hunter get sufficient minutes Saurday perfect opportunity. The reason for this is we are going to need these guys help us more in the NCAA'S here is the chance to work on that. we already have the conference championship in hand outright, Joey L is already saying and he is usually pretty dam good on his projections he says we are pretty locked in to our seed at # 2 so its not like our seeding is in jeopardy we have done proven we are the true champions over a 3 month period NOT a weekend event, we absolutely have nothing to gain by playing the same starters Saturday , again they can play but for the most part, let these others work out in the overall grand scheme of things it will benefit us, especially to be able to get Landon, Hunter, and Svi some time on the floor GO HAWKS
well guys Baylor just gave us a gift. NOW its time to finish this. The ball is definitely in our court now. in order for us to screw this up we would have to lose at home, and I just don't think that's happening. True its no given but Oklahoma and Iowa state still have to play one another, so that's going to eliminate one of those two, and we got West Virginia at home which I feel there will be a little bit of pay back in that. that just leaves us wit the Oklahoma game in the finale, we win these two at home and the worst case scenario is a share. So I think our chances are good. on an unrelated note I really do like Rico Gathers he is a vey good player and built like a rock and is a rebounding machine. I feel realistically that Baylor & Iowa State will be the ones the last the longest in the NCAA'S well balanced, both of them. just my opinion Go Hawks
why you worried about the next KU coach? as far as I know Self isn't going ANYWHERE
not sure how many here know he this idiot is but his logic to the whole storming is basically that it was all good. he tried his best to get John Currie the K-State A.D. tried to get him to give an opinion on KU A.D. backing Curtis Townsend, Keitzman thought KU ought to offer apology for grabbing the kid by the throat he says.. he says well you offered your apology, he also said if the idiot that chicken winged Jamari as coach self put it, he said if that kid got arrested that he thought Townsend ought to be arrested, making crazy statements that nobody was in danger, nobody got hurt, ya he said kid was idiot for what he done but thought Townsend was just as guilty so many ridiculous statements. Keitzman asked Currie if he thought the kid ought to have criminal charges brought against him, he says he didn't think he had committed a crime, and asked if Currie thought he ought to be charged and Currie said a Player would be well within his rights if he wanted to file criminal charges if he felt like it. this guy is unreal. he says he feels like their is no time he felt it was apporiate for Townsend to grab this kid. WHAT YOU THINK?
dam how quick the wolves come out, so now coach self has no idea on how to run the team, what we do have is a lot of arm chair coaches that need to quit their day job and go apply, stat a petition to get coach self fired. don't remember but wondering where the hell we would of been without the inside Presence of Perry? remember the 24pts 9 reb ? ya that guy. but hey heres a thought how about trying to get a DEFENSIVE STOP now there is an idea, this team has no killer instinct, so erractic, up 7 let them off, up 8 let them off, jack up a three when someone in your face forgetting what got us to the point where we where in control, exactly where was it we were in control? seems like when we was getting the ball down low to Perry, who stopped him all night? then w decide to jack up airball for the three at two dribbles but that's ok right? seeing as we all know more how to run the team right? that's why Bill has been so successful because he doesn't know squat right? doesn't matter how many 3's you put up, how many you take if you don't wanna play any dam D. how many times did we come down the floor and fail to make any kind of what so ever defensive stand when we were down by 2 or one where if we would have made even a feeble effort attempt to play the D might of worked wonders, wonder why Frank didn't find it necessary to attempt to drive the lane and then dish out for that oh so important 3? then lets when it is late and running out f time in the game NOW lets try and get the ball back inside to a guy that's been eatin KSU'S lunch all night when everyone on the floor know's where we are trying to get the ball to so when he does he is doubled and has absolutely no chance to score that makes sense or lets not worry about continuing to pull the same idiotic crap of turning the ball over at a high rate a lot of them unforced but ya lets not worry about that lets focus on just being able to jack up the three's whether Perry has been kicking their butt all night DAMM wish self KNEW SOMETHING about the game of basketball. GO HAWKS
well step 1 has been taken. as speculated Thon Maker has announced he will re-classify to 2015. so now it begins . the leaders being KU, and Kentucky and was quoted MAYBE might visit other schools. have heard for such a long time that we were the leader for him but time will tell, we all know how that coach from Kentucky pulls his crap. All I know he would be such a HUGE get for us, ya he likes to face up more at this point then the back to the basket, but is a rim defender can handle the ball, rebound, hit the outside shot. no matter whatever he is for real, he is also another 1 and done. and as soon as he made the announcement he was already projected as the 10th pick in the 2016 NBA draft . the other possibility is he goes over seas doesn't play college ball for the one yr depending on the clearing house, we shall see, but would be nice GO HAWKS
you know guys, just a random thought passing through my lil ol pea brain. you know that your program is at the top of the college basketball program, our prestige speaks for itself, yes I fully realize that Kentucky is THE ONLY school ranked ahead of us in all time victories, but here is what I'm trying to get to. you know that you are getting the ultimate respect when you have others schools that when they hire their coach they put incentive clauses in his contract, pay him a bonus if they beat KU and coach Self, and yes I'm talking about West Virginia. Now no, I'm not going to try an say exactly how much the incentive is cause I have heard varied amounts 25,000 or 50,000 really doesn't matter and yes I'm sure there are some others that do that against other powers but just saying that ha a be one of the ultimate compliments to a basketball program and to the institution, it almost like someone taking out a hit on someone but not as dirty but just in money terms you know that your program is respected almost idolized just a passing thought that's all guys GO HAWKS
I have realized for some time now that this team is different then teams of the past and the word I use a lot is this team has a grit to them. pretty well have seen it all, something different they just don't seem to ever panic, they never give up, cash it in whatever you want to call it. pretty well seen it all w have had big leads only to play ugly, lose that lead but still find ways to win, we have had big dificits and managed to stay the course, one possession at a time come back and win, we been our share of close games and found the pay and ways to win. Another thing this year is we have very legit threats to score the ball from the outside, more then one player, we have Kelly, Brennan, Frank, Wayne, Devonte to a some what lesser degree and even Perry now and then, we have both point guards who can penetrate and dish, create shots for others. they just don't give up but what they do, do is they just WIN win ugly, win so, so win half ass, win we they DO play well but they just win, one thing they do that others don't do or very often is THEY WIN on the road and that my friends is where conference championships come from being able to win on the road. all I would ask for is just a little more consistency, to spoiled I guess, looking for perfection unrealistic probably, we have a lot going for us though we have a lot of pieces not saying we have this down but I think we can make a strong run in the NCAA'S we have outside scoring, we have decent inside w have the ability to stretch defenses, and we have COACH SELF anyways looking to the last part of the season and let it play out how it may GO HAWKS
hey guys did you happen to catch this? did anyone else see where we had a 4 star running recruit visit on campus this past weekend? ya, ya, ya, I know so what, very true I fully understand that. my only point here is when is the last time we had a 4 star recruit of ANY POSITION come to our campus for a visit? not just running back but ANY? I fully realize that getting some one of this caliber is like finding a snowball in the middle of august but still, who knows maybe JUST MAYBE coach beaty can get us some attention from some of these guys or his assistants, no matter how small this seems makes you wonder crawl before you walk guys GO HAWKS
hey guys you know heard some interesting convers on radio this morning, and actually whether we want to believe it or not DOES makes sense. it is what it is, the question is, as Jayhawk fans has our expectations just become to un realistic? ya the Oklahoma State game was bad, ugly but like was pointed out its reality. I mean stop and think about it this in all reality IS still a very young team. like was pointed out Oubre- -Freshman, Alexander- -Freshman, Graham- - Freshman Seldon- -Soph,- -Mason- -Soph Greene- -Soph, Lucas- -Soph and then Ellis- -Jr, Traylor- -Jr very young, very young but yet we are 19-4 on the season ranked 8th in the nation before today's rankings and in 1st place in the league, so we lose on the road and the sky is falling in OH this team is crap so inconsistent, and don't try and come and say WELL these are surpose to be one and dones these are College Fr HUGE difference from dominating high-school competition to major college ball. like the person said did your really think these guys were going to go 30 plus wins and 2 on the season? we lose the nu 1 pick and what the 3rd pick in the NBA and we are 19-4 and in 1st place in the league, these are kids 17,18, yr old kids have we raised our expectations so high that nothing is good enough? yes this team is different but like I said its one loss, the goal is not to make it 2 in a row does anyone think its going to be 2 in a row? has it gotten to the point where we are expecting sooooo much that no loss is acceptable, IT HAPPENS, has it got to the point these kids are under so uch pressure at the University of Kansas they aren't able to have fun playing the game they love? if its gotten to that point, THATS SAD VERY SAD. again a lot of times I too get p.o very hot but think the guy opened my eyes some today this team is YOUNG, VERY YOUNG it is what it is. why can't we just enjoy these guys and appreciate what they have done, what they are doing. what are they doing? they're WINNING that's what and they are well on their way to ANOTHER conference championship we just need to enjoy this season I think we will be fine GO HAWKS
so starts the 2nd half guys, and its now REALLY CRUNCH TIME. this game is where Frank and Devonte need to come out take control show poise and run the team, make smart decisions play under control, this is a game we know Forte and Nash are going to get their points, our main goal is just to make sure someone else just doesn't goof and have a once in a life time game against us, with stand pressure we do that and I think we come out with the win. you know every game is very important, nothing is a given and you may laugh but now Iowa State and K S U have been beaten on the road by the bottom 2 teams in the conference you have to be ready to play every night no matter to play every night no matter where it is this league is tough. the guys look like they are coming together just at the right time, something different about this team a gritiness? toughness? a never cave in attitude? I don't no just something different. GO HAWKS
ok guys, I am original poster of this and I'm just saying yes I see concerns. ya might be problems with clearinghouse not all sure on that, I have heard from others that the problem wouldn't be with grades but something about players from other countries can't remember I would have to re-read something about how they are frowning on players from abroad playing in the U.S.A yes is in Canada but I'm just saying fully not worries IF ANYONE ELSE is worrying about as far as grades go. heard something about partial quailifer like Jamari if that's the case he won't come. have read post where comments made they don't want him that all he thinks about is about his-self and such, I hope these guys aren't serious. I mean guys really? seriously? have we gotten to that point? no even saying Thon is that way, but even if that was the case again IF that was the case don't know about you but I was raised you have to look out for yourself no one else will, its a cold world right? so he has to look out for him-self do what is best for him, if that's one yr the so be it. I know if he comes here he will fit in coach self's system or he won't be here and I'm sure he knows that. nothing is a given with coach self you EARN IT no matter who you are. I'm not saying any of my fellow posers here are in that train of thought but I'm sayin I hope we haven't got that spoiled to try and deny and be little a player for quote un quote looking out for him-self or thinking about him-self. I still feel if the staff can get him to commit to us even for 1 yr this is a kid we need to accept and enjoy for the 1 yr. this kid is an animal. yes I saw the video above and granted I have seen many of his video's and its hard to compare his talent because he just dominates against other competition at the current level so much taller and total package. pretty thin but has all the tools lets just unite and pull and hopefully get this kid for the yr if that's what it is. jo jo turned out being 1 yr and w enjoyed him as Jayhawk nation we need to unite and if he is hea your going to enjoy beyond a shadow of a doubt GO HAWKS
I by far am NOT any K-State fan but I do not think this is weber's fault. I think Marcus Foster is just a problem looking for a place to happen. I actually applaud weber for suspending him indefinitely by the way this time, like the announcers said foster s only hurting his teammates by his actions. to tell you the truth it wouldn't surprise me they dismiss him from the team maybe not but wouldn't be shocked. foster only cares about him self what I have heard really not that much of team player and now Malik Harris foster is a cancer and starting to spread not good
here is random thoughts of mine. I think Kelly is gone like others have said highest NBA pick probably top 10 first round what I have heard, Cliff needs to come back for Soph yr but think he also leaves, like others have said getting advice from others, BAD AVICE probably but as we all know money speaks very loudly and as we also know and have heard NBA drafts a lot on potential just feel he is gone, feel like there is a legit shot that SVI returns home. you might ask WHY? guess a theory on as to why dramatically reduced minutes, home sick. theory here is go back home, be with mom and dad and play 1 yr of pro ball over there and then declare for the NBA. once again as far as recruits I have been following a couple very closely # 1 Thon Maker making his decision on re-classify by the middle of next week. everything says he will re-classify and KU is in the lead for sure on him but has said will definitely visit KU and UK and MAYBE other schools. cliff leaves and he steps right in. Zimmerman is not coming here you can forget that staying close to home UNLV. everything I've seen also shows us in the lead for Malik if we could end up getting Malik to go along with Carlton, and or Thon/Brandon would be huge GO HAWKS
this is kind of a tongue in cheek question BUT? - - - What the hell has happened to Texas? I mean this is from a team that was surpose to be the one to de-throne us this year of the conference championship. Ya I know the obvious- - easy answer is Rick Barnes just read the chat off the Tex- - Okla State game and they are ready to lynch the guy. So ya I realize that, but think about it they had ALL 5 guys returning from last yr-- - they the I believe # 2 player in the nation coming in, unbelievable length, height only comparable to Kentucky. just look at the difference in the 2 programs KU-TEX look what Kent did to us at the start of the season and then look how Tex played Kent on their home floor. NOW look at the 2 programs complete opposite directions. KU coming together playing well and Tex nose diving in the tank. Ya I know obvious world of differences between coach self and barnes, LOVE COACH SELF. but I dunno, something going on in Austin. whats happened to Holmes? I think they have cashed it in. they are in big trouble of maybe not even making the tourney if they don't get it turned around. thank God I'm a hawks fan GO HAWKS
just saw where Thom Maker is expected to decide upon re-classification by next week. according by his I think guardian could be wrong but the latest probably by middle of the week by latest. and said would be visiting KU and Kentucky for sure. and POSSIBLY other schools. but from everything I have heard we lead for him. ya you know Kentucky is pushing hard. just another classic battle between the 2 of us. I feel and its just me, if he re-classifies like I think he will I feel good on our chances GO HAWKS
just watching some B-BALL tonight guys and hell I guess from what I heard in a couple of statements tonight from commentators I GUESS I dunno I guess I've missed the boat lol. I was watching the Wisconsin and Indiana game and good ol Dan D. says about Wisconsin probably the toughest place to play REALLY? please tell me what am I missing? guess I've been overcome by the Phog. and then 2ndly in the Oklahoma - West Virginia game this guy says Oklahoma probably has played the toughest schedule this yr. again REALLY? my question is where are these guys getting their information? I thought we had the Nu 1 RPI once again. I know we have a tougher schedule but just repeating what has been said tonight. but anyways ROCK CHALK
hey guys got a question? been thinking like title say probably wrong BUT? I have read some/ heard some other posters on transfers and how many scholarships we are going to have next yr. have heard talk about Brennan transferring, Lucas, Hunter an such which i don't see Brennan transferring out or any of the other fore mentioned maybe, maybe Lucas but- - - - - . but just a random thought and reason behind the thought. I was thinking possibly if there is a transfer it could easily be Svi Mykhailuk as well as anyone else. now for my reasoning behind for what its worth. possibly not at KU next yr probably not transfer BUT returning home. so the pts are: 1 getting less and less playing time, 2nd possibly homesick , 3rd returning back home and playing next yr in their pro league and then entering the NBA draft. don't see any ransfer to another school because he would have to sit out a yr . But if he returned back home and played a yr in their league then enter the NBA draft those are my thoughts, like i said probably wrong but that would be the one i would think. ;let me know
how impressive was that? for the 1st time this year we played a COMPLETE 40 minute game. I would have to challenge anyone to point out any player that had a bad game. 3 turnovers for the entire game, Perry staying aggressive, solid guards Devonte, Frank winding up out rebounding Texas 6 in the 2nd half, 6 sts to tex 1 79% free throw shooting bench play 31-8 in favor of KU. Jamari's hustle. one thing I've noticed this year on this team they seem to have grit, little attitude, we have pretty much seen it all down huge and came back, up huge and lost it and regrouped and still won, lots of close games, its just everyone doin little things to help the team as a team. just got to be consistent no for sure wins this yr. nothing is for granted this league is nutts look at TCU today at west Virginia Texas Tech over Iowa State. so proud of the guys very solid 2 Huge road wins Baylor, and now Texas now follow it up guys GO HAWKS
well guys another big stretch coming up. what you think out of the next 4 how you feel we will stack up? this is mine maybe off but I think good chance at 4-0 ya we have Texas tomorrow but just kinda have a feel we going to play well I think biggest game will be Iowa State again if we go 3-1 then we are in pretty good shape but 4-0 is better, looking to see how Perry plays tomorrow another big and long team Perry has had 2 good games but now lets see how he does previous bigs he hasn't done well, what ya think
ha I apologized and that's about the extent of it
sure do. in Topeka always have and ?
ok I agree we just agree to disagree no disrespect intended I apologize. like this forum plus one positive thing is we are ALL KU fans at least I think just got wrapped up sorry
THANKS I WILL SLEEP SOOOOOO MUCH EASIER KNOWING THAT
tuff loss guys yesterday but it was only 1 game in a grueling 18 game conf schedule, I think we are going to be alright, is anyone really concerned K-State is leading the conference right now? I'm not. ISU plays KSU Tuesday so one of the other two that's right there with us is going to take an L. one thing that is different this year from years past more scoring from the outside for us less interior true we may play ugly at times, sometimes a lot of the time but the one thing I do like is the toughness the way THIS team never seems to give up. could of been easy when we got down 14 but they hang in there actually all these close games could help latter down the line this year we have been in plenty of close games this year. I think in reality I'd rathe have it this way then just steam roll through until the NCAA'S Perry broke out in the game but not going to get to hyped about that yet as it was ISU and they lack on the defensive end looking for some consistency from him. but I think we will be in the thick of things for the title until the end GO HAWKS
exit stage left
got a bunch of funny guys but thanks for your basketball IQ. I accept opinions on my grammer but thanks MR 4.0 glad you mastered in grammer just don't respond, you don't like my comments but don't start digging about how I post . what you need to do is get the hell off me. and when I wanna use my caps that's what I do, I do that to emphasize points when I respond to such wonderful comments from idiots like yourself AGAIN it was like a morgue wouldn't even try to compare to AFH maybe you ought to put your lil burnt orange britches on a giddy up
no ACTUALLY I watched both games, maybe YOU was watching something diferent you could of heard a pin drop at either one of those if you want to have a top program then act like you belong I saw so many empty seats at both so not really sure WHAT YOU were watching, not even close to loud AFH or not
guys I need someone or ones to PLEASE explain something to me, I just DO NOT get it. tell me this, I don't understand why when you have a game and two different occurances of this yesterday. nu 1 why when you have 2 top twenty five ranked ball teams, your playing at home, your playing your arch rival, and your handing their butt to then on a platter up by 20 WHY, WHY is that place not having the roof blown of from the noise of your home fans? WHY is that field house not packed to the rafters? the team? Oklahoma-Oklahoma state. 2nd. same scenario 2 top twenty five teams nu 16 vs nu 20 Texas vs West Virginia your beating the hell out of them again up by 20 at the time WHY WHY is that place only half full and sounds like a morgue? someone please help me understand WTH why you not supporting your teams no wonder you'll never win with consistency
just read update on Brandon Ingram ya I know its all up in the air who knows but for some reason getting better feel for him. I know or not that bragg had talked about him being part of a package with him but that's not what this is about. he posted comments about the 6 teams still on his list and I take it as a small grain but its a grain his comments when it came to KU, Its a basketball city there, I loved it out there when I was there for midnight madness, I love everything about Coach Roberts and Coach Bill Self. I know trying to read between lines but just got the feel maybe leaning some more towards the hawks. like I said he and Carlton had talked about being a part of a package. would be an awesome class if he came and Malik Newman ended up committing which in the recruiting services I see all show us now leading for Malik. but we shall see GO HAWKS
ok guys just have a simple question one and one only just like to hear others input ok? who do you think is worse at broadcasting, I guess color commentator. which do you consider worse. DICK VITALE OR BILL WALTON? yes I know dick vitale goes on his tirades about the ACC or where ever he is atishe best place in AMERICA about makes ya sick sometimes but he really does have some good points some times, then you have BILL WALTON OMG this guy just goes off on some of the most ridicilious stuff nothing pertaining to the game at all and actually even his analysis of the game I feel leave a lot to be desired. which one guys? whichj one is worse? I have to say believe it or not to me BILL WALTON very hard to watch with him
@wissoxfan83 English in high school was never my strong point in school. now being 61 yrs old those days are over. glad to see you got was I was saying point was taken. you was able to figure out what I was trying to get across, sorry didn't realize I was being graded on grammer again lol but the only thing I guess I can tell you is when you see I post just ignore and refrain from reading the post seeing as I am lousy at grammer, and again being aas I am now 61 yrs of age more likely then not grammer probably isn't likely happen to change. GO HAWKS
watched Baylor-ISU tonight, definite game of runs. now that we are on top by ourselves heading into this game need to be really prepared on top of our game. need complete 40 minutes going to be a very tough 2 1/2 days, Baylor did us no favors- - -well they did but they didn't.ISU going to be pumped. nu 1. it now is pretty much a must game for the clones, CAN NOT afford a home loss already being now back a game to us nu 2 its KU-ISU always tough ballgames nu 3. ESPN GAME DAY will be pumped, and home court will be jacked. just have to be smart played focused like coach said schedule makers did us no favors 8:00 p.m. Saturday night then turn right around on Monday night and play Oklahoma. we can do it, just play smart, big 3 day weekend coming up GO HAWKS
nope you misses it. I DIDN'T say that it was on here that the people were saying it. jumping to conclussions. I have heard multilple time off radio 810 out of KC that it was over from different people. I've read it off the Lawrence Journal World from posters so ya it HAAS been said and that's ridicilious people that are believing that are looking through colored crimson and blue blinders. yes agreed we have or are in a nice position but AGAIN its 2 games into the conference season AND like you stated the way people are beating one another up- - - just proves my point futher there are some very tuff teams to come to Allen and I hope your not one of the delusional ones that think we can't be beat this year in Allen if it was years past maybe but we ARE NOT I repeat we ARE NOT head and shoulders above the other big twelve teams as in the past now will it happen? I'm not sayin that but yet I'm not sayin it won't either just not as be of gap. people may think I'm pessimistic not really, don't challenge me on my loyality to the hawks all I'm sayin is its going to hard really hard more of a realists then some others GO HAWKS
1st guys let me say I am one of the biggest Hawk fans there is, ya 60 yrs old almost 61 always have been and always will be maybe a little to strong maybe sometimes but here is a take and take it for whatever just my input that's all. ok I've been hearing from multiple people statements of such forget about it its over seal it lights out KU has got their11the straight conference championship. now I mean REALLY? SERIOUSLY? what are you basing this on? is it Texas losing like it did at home to Oklahoma? or Oklahoma losing to Kstate at home? or Iowa State barely hanging on against Oklahoma State at home? well ya valid points BUT guys we are 2 games into the conference season 2! ! ! have we got to the point where we are going to validate our conference championship off 2 games?Long ways to go. LONG ways to go. very tough games for us on the road and IF you think w are goin through this season at home without 1 loss, I have to differ but that's me are we conference champs at this point OR has things happened so far like they have because the league is just that much tougher this years then in years past. just my thoughts its ok tha ks guys
dam bud, I didn't even realize X had been waived by the lakers. I'm falling behind also hadn't realized Tarik was no longer with the rockets. I did see Cole is playin more for the knicks 17 former hawks in the NBA right now and the morris twins tearing it up
just got through reading article on Malik Newman, Coach Self and Asst watched him play yesterday. Malik dropped 34 and was named MVP. just a couple of things Malik mentioned made me feel a little better about our chances, he said y Kentucky is in the mix but when asked if it concerned him about how loaded they were at his position he came out and said ya its would be something he would have to consider stating that who they have is just as good as him and not likely to get the playing time he was seeking maybe, plus said he liked Kansas and likes the way Coach has helped or having Andrew there and now Kelly, and then finally when asked if ol miss, and Mississippi state was still in the mix he pretty much without sayin out right kinda insinuated no said not sure and or if he would make a visit there to them but is working on a visit to KU
glad to hear Devonte is close. I to don't really think we need him as badly today would rather use him less today and tuesady and then be ready I believe a week from today against Iowa State
heyTheDrunkenJhawk, that's exactly what I've heard also they are still discussing about him re-classifying but I do believein the end run he will re-classify and I like our chances
