KU recruiting 3 players for 2023 from the Same School. -It is the same School that the Flowers kid goes to - -they either recruiting or showing interest
So as we all know by now anytime a Coach comes in and has success with a program and openings come up - -there is going to be rumors of that Coach possibly taking that New Position.
We all know or should know by now that with the Nebraska opening how Coach L's name has been mentioned. - - I have some Concern -- not that much at this point , as I've rad articles and message board, and doesn't look like Coach would be their # 1 choice - -he is more like their 4-5 Choice right now with Urban Meyer their number 1 choice - to that I would say great knock yourself out and we both will be fine. Now IF and I said IF he did go then I would just say promote our OC Kolecki. and leave it at that.
Pretty good interview with Coach with Ryan Leaf - -straight line - - Coach had some good response. Ryan said how it was effecting Coach or how he was handling that and Coach L said :
" You have to stay in the moment, be where your feet are at. Kelly ( Coach L's Wife ) and I we came to Lawrence Kansas NOT to move at this stage of our Career , I mean it's flattering, Our focus is trying to build the Kansas Jayhawks into a winner and a consistent winner for the long haul.
Now I know it's hard to try and read into things but for me he might just be the type of guy he would want to stay put and finish what he started here - - at least that's what I would hope for. - -Plus like he said at this stage of his career he is ( 58 ) - might mean he doesn't want to make another move. - Having said that I said before and I wil say again we bette be ready to pony up more bucks to enhance the chances of Coach staying put -- - Your thoughts guys ? - - What's you take ?
Another case of talent astray. - -Jalen Hill has passed away - -22 years old played at UCLA. He was in Costa Rica , pretty good player had plenty of talent BUT had issues dealt with anxiety issues and severe depression , ended up walking away from the game.
Report said details were pretty sketchy but just afraid ok knowing how he passed. - -just a shame - thoughts for the family

I'm sticking with my guns on this KU is NOT going anywhere, so we don't have to worry about taking lil brother with us. - - KU when it's all said and done will be right here in the Big 12. - -Any conference re-alignment will be the Big 12 adding the 4 Pac 12 teams that has been the topic from day one.
The Big 12 WILL be the 3rd P-5 Conference with the additions if any -they will be Arizona - -Arizona State - - Utah - -& Colorado with I think the two best shots out of this group Arizona & Utah.
Just read another article today the BIG is targeting 5 Schools still with 4 of those 5 coming from the Pac 12 then they trying to still get Norte Dame - which that's not happening for some time anyways - -the other 4 if the BIG invites they will 100 % jump and destroy the Pac 12 - . If Arizona could they would be in the Big 12 today. - All a matter of time.
People still think KU is goin to the BIG - - you need to stop and face reality , the BIG will not invite KU - -not for a few years anyways We have to become better in the football side which we all know or should know this is what it's all about. the Money sport , the revenue for any possibility we not there yet. - just get ready to accept new additions to the Big 12 - this conference is gonna be fine -not billion but solid 3rd , while these other Conferences maybe not so much. - -I think too when the smoke clears your gonna see the ACC crumble over time yes their GOR is insane but I think the SEC will grab the schools mentioned and they will work around that
An awesome thing would be if that were to happen then the Big 12 with Arizona & Utah maybe be able to get Louisville another from the dissolved ACC would make for a solid Conference and really really good Basketball - -with the addition of Arizona and Louisville regarding that sport - - time will tell but don't be surprised
It's amazing the amount of Social Media that our football boys have been receiving Nationally. - We have had Back to Back Defensive players of the week in the Big 12- - Now Jalen gets Big 12 offensive player of the week in the 3rd week of the Season. - -When is the last time that's happened for KU ?

just wanted to say I feel that if not sold out - -I think Booth Stadium will be at least 45-46000 for the game - if not sold out. - What is capacity 52,000 ? - think we will have a really nice student turnout. Right now extended forecast says high of 84 degrees - -and only a 5 % chance of rain, so weather shouldn't be a problem - -Let's go Hawks

The announcers were saying it's tough for opponents because they are not sure exactly what KU is doing - - what they gonna run because they show so many different formations. - -You can take it to the bank that there is no way that Coach and staff ha come close to showing all that they have in that play book - - -not yet.

Man I'm pumped - -we got us a deep running back core - -this is impressive to me - -our offensive line has kept our QB clean through the first three games ( ZERO SACKS ) - -on our QB - -and then we do have a QB - -Oh do we ever have a QB. as crazy as it sounds , there are some people that actually have Jalen # 5 for the Heisman. - -I mean come on , you know and I both know - - that's not happening , but just to be projected in that position -- speaks volumes.
Now just some little fun FYI'S - -you might not know - - -KU has won 3 /4 games on the road. This has a team that had a string of like 60 games I believe they said .- Ever since the Texas game last year when KU has been beaten it's been a one possession game. - -KU ha won consecutive roads games for the first time since GOD knows win. - -Amazing what a legit Coaching staff can do.

Man love the success we have had so far this year , Love our Coach we have us a Coach that is getting this thing turned around. However this success & turnaround might be costly - - very costly.
With things happening like they are I said before KU Alum /Donars - better be ready to get in their pockets and pony up to keep this Coach. A lot of talk about Nebraska coming after Coach and will be coming hard , this becomes a night mare for us unless we are willing to pull out the money to keep Coach. It would be an absolute nightmare at this point if he leaves.
I wasn't that concerned before , but as time goes on and the more success we have the stronger this becomes real- Nebraska needs to stay the F - - - away -- they got deep pockets. It might be possible IF this were to happen Coach would just tell them no as he wants to stay and finish what he has started - -not gonna be easy , hoping for the best
Really hope if not a sell out next Sat then really really close to it. Students show up big - - make some noise

Random thought , maybe it's just me , maybe over reacting . Just curious , kind of wondering- - find it kind of interesting , WHY is it that it just doesn't seem like there is hardly any conversation , posts , comments on KU football on this site from people ? - -Is it that there just any interest about football , not really caring about our Football team ?-- It just seems like it's kind of like EH.
Are we a School that only cares about one sport ? - -( Basketball ) - and yes I love our Basketball, just seems like we have an attitude of I could care less about anything other then Basketball. If that is the case then that's truly sad All our sports need backing/support. - - We have a really goof Womens Volleyball team -Our Soccer team is doing pretty good, AND I truly think our football team is getting this turned around and yet they don't hardly receive any kind of support /mention
YES I know it's only two games AND ? - -- just seems like there is this totally lack of interest/support - I mean there is almost no mention of the team unless it's me or possibly one or two others here. Again it's only two games but I'm telling you this time is on the move , -- -I truly believe this team has a legit shot to win this game tomorrow plus multiple others.

I just keep reading/seeing diffeent things that tel me there is no reason why w shouldn't be in this game . have a legit chance to win. Seen this today Houston ranks 119th against the pass giving up an average. - -UTSA threw for 337 yards - - -Tech threw for 350. - - of 7.1 per attempt The Article talks about KU'S balanced attack over 200 yards passing , over 200 yards rushing.
Now it does talk about Houston D-Line how pretty stiff against the run , and how they will pressure from both sides so O-Line gotta be ready stand up and protect Daniels. I just think it hopefully will be a good game
We should be in this game, should have a legit shot. If we can get our defense to just step up some , be a little more stubborn we should be right there. feel like we can do some things.
Tune is completing 59 % of his passes - -not bad -but sure not earth shattering - 472 yards and 4 TD'S on the year. Again Eh decent but not eye popping , I think we might be able to pressure Tune has been sacked 6 times already this year.
WR Nathaniel has 12 catch's for 170 yards - - Their offensive Line has been having problems opening some holes for the RB'S only averaging 3.1 per carry
The Ol has to stand up and protect Daniels , really keep an eye on Derrick Parish been really good so far- -- Parish had 4 1/2 sacks & 6.5 TFL'S and a forced
fumble last week so a person that needs to be dealt with
I just feel in my gut this is one we need, these are the types of games needed for our continued progress my pick is -KU 38 - -Houston 31
