Ok, let me preface this by saying yes I'm sure almost evert Schools fans have people that scroll other teams message boards. I know we do cause I know I do but I'm sure there are many more. So I fully understand and get that before I say what I'm gonna say here. My thing is when I troll UK'S board I'm truly geniunely interested in seeing what their posters are saying about their possible recruits , how their season they feel is going to play out so on and so on - -BUT I'm gonna say this straight out
Kentucky fans have such a huge paranoia of KU Basketball it is just insane. Like today I went their to check their status with Bona , and many think he is headed to UCLA , how they lost out on him because of the way Calipari handled thing s but even better I SWEAR TO GOD I read THREE posters just at the blink of the hat talking about KU lmao. - I got confused is this a Kentucky fan page OR is it the KU message board.
Talking about late night at the phog - talking about hell I can't remember right off the top of my head but other posters with the lead of KU. Talking about their all time wins and what they have to do about keeping KU from catching them and our little cheating ways. - just find it very funny how post after post is about KU instead of their own team. - -Again I know we do it too but still the posts they have are incredible
Hmmm , just red from TOS that Tiptons tweeted out that Brandon Miller top 20 recruit has added KU to his list of 5. He is coming to KU for a visit on the weekend of Oct 14-17th.
Others involved are Alabama , Tennessee State , NBL & G League. - - -Must of least made a little impression if he has decided to add us and come for a visit. Getting in late that would be a nice late surprise
things that people say are going to take time true. BUT this team will not ever get into a pissing contest at trying to outscore the other team. That's what they are having or try having to do - -little lone learning things that take time.
This defense if that's what you wanna call it - -is a Disaster - comes from 2 things I can see that thinks is perfectly obvious. - -Age/experience - -and then difference in talent. Like I said when your defense is giving up on a consistent basis of 35-40-50 points a game - -here is a quick answer your NOT gonna win very many of those types of contest. We get 3 and outs - -Int's - Fumbles or what ever we settle for Fg while the others aere having a track meet up and down the field averaging 5-6 yards maybe at time 7 yards pre attempt - -12-15 yards per att when they throw - -the defense is just horrible. Oh sure once in awhile they will get maybe a TFL only to follow it up the next play by giving up big chunk yards.
Until we can get this dam defense fixed it isn't gonna matter how much they learn on the offensive side of the ball. - This team is NOT going to outscore another team in a offensive slugfest

The most loyal of loyal Jayhawk fan can't even try to defend what we are now seeing. - -We were under the presumption of getting better step by step - -Is that happening ? Sure the hell not in at least against Big 12 foe's A person can try and sugarcoat disguise what ever you want to call it but when your constantly giving up 40-45-50 a game - - come on. How can you even think you can be competitive in as game like that ? Our offense sure the hell isn't going to compete with those kind of numbers, not when you have to many three- & outs INT'S -- let's be real here.
Our defense just plain sucks when your giving up 90% of the time your opponent is averaging 4-5-6 if not more yards per carry & 9-15 yards per pass attempt - and THAT'S defense ? Come on be serious. I'm so tired of this program being the laughing stock of America - -it's a joke. You can't put a better product on the field better then that ? I don't give a dam , you can say what you want about what I'm posting here - -I'm just calling it like it is. Our Defense just flat ass SUCKS -AGAIN
Wish there was a way we could drop the football program if this is what we put out - but we can't. The most frustrating part is I know we can do better we have some parts - -just to bad we don't have those vital parts at the same time. - -We get a few good pieces on the offensive side of the ball - - our Defense stinks. - -We get some good pieces of the defensive side of the ball -- our offense sucks. -It's time to quit making excuses and about wet ourselves because we get 2-3 first downs in a row - -get all excited cause we kick a field goal - -pssst please.
The thing is we are never going to see many quality recruits come here to play because you think a few quality recruits wanna come just to be blown out and laughed at and talked negatively about every weekend ? - -When those same recruits can go to even average teams and do so much better. You don't think opposing staffs aren't using this terrible program against us ? - -Asking recruits - -you really want to throw your College career away at a program like that where you can't really showcase your talents ? - - Come on now I know people aren't that thick to think otherwise ,This football program is just a wild fire burning way past out of Control now - & not getting any better - -Fact ! ! !

Well the Ladies just won their 9 th Match in a row. Now 11-3 on the Season and - - 3-0 in Conference. Just beat Iowa Which until tonight was also un-defeated in Conference State 3-1.

I did see on Rivals future cast that there was one prediction and it was 100 % KU BUT we know that doesn't mean squat cause anyone can get on there and cast their vote for where a kid is going. - someone to keep an eye on though -who knows.

Thank you. - -So at least we have some interest, both ways it sounds needs to add some weight but looks like he can bury the J -not good enough handles to be a pg in P-5 College ball but decent I think he is fully aware he will not be a pg in College. Someone to keep an eye on see how it goes. Thank you.
Well seen this the other day , and saw again today off Rupp Rafters. 2023 recruit has been to KU. At the present time he is a 6'10 pg he won't end up being this in college , has decent handles but not pg handles for College. His name is Matas Buzelis out of Wolfeboro NH Brewster Academy.
If any others have more info other then what I post feel free to fill us in. Not sure why I'm wasting my time as other posters all they he is a lock for their school , so then guess there si no chance in hell for us to be involved lol.
Eric Bossi wrote him up saying they hadn't updated rankings for quite awhile but this kid currently 43rd but 32 generated composite is in line for big jump probably top 10 , right now he has unoffically been to U Conn , Depaul , Purdue , & KU and also planning on going to WF & Florida state.

Yeah recruiting has been impacted for several years now. This 22 class has been much better then others but even if they sign all 3 there's nothing guaranteed with what's looming. Expect the worst, be happy if its not as bad as we think it could be.
Ya worst case scenario we could get hit and if not already Rice de-commits, which I'm not really that sure on him anyways still wait and see him on the floor. If we get hit Rice may say nope - - Dick might too
Think it could be pretty sweet to see this like it says in spurts. be able to free up Remy at times , Thing is Harris is just so dam quick it's ok let him run it for a little and not have to worry about Scoring just let the other guys do their thing.
I think this has a good chance of being a special year. We are Sooooo deep. Guys can be a little more aggressive on the defensive end. The ONE spot we have to be a little more careful about is the 5. Not quite as deep there but think this is going to be fun.

I am holding my breath until IARP submits an "update!" Not really sure how seriously KU is on this kid. 3 * from 247 - Rivals lists him at 6"11 & 215 lbs - -and 247 has him at 7 ft and 185. - Not really sure there would be anything to this , thinking with the portal like it is - -chances are a lot of real that KU lands a big from that -then this

KC has a lot of work to do. So much for some people who thought they would run the table maybe 1 loss. You can't turn the ball over 4 times and expect to win a game - that's 5 turnovers in the last two games

Kentucky with the # 1 - - # 6 - - # 7 ( he is a lock ) - - & 17. - - - - -Duke with the # 2 - - - # 5 - - -# 8 - -& # 16. - Yet Cal continues to wet himself with the talent he gets. - does less with more.

Have always found it kind of interesting when I hear people talk about Bill not being able to recruit top ranked players , talking about why can't he be more like Calipari. Calipari always getting loaded classes.
That's very true , he does BUT Calipari doesn't do really anymore then Self in the same length of time with those top notch players. stats pretty much sum that up. Since the year of 2000 Kentucky has been to two NCAA title games. One in 2012 ( this being the year he beat Bill ) and then in 2014 when he lost. - - So since 2000 the Great Cal has been to TWO title games and since 2000 Calipari & Kentucky has won ONE NCAA title.
Since 2000, KU has been to THREE NCAA Title games , yes true Bill only accounts for TWO ( same as Cal ) & yes Bill also has a 1-1 record in those Championship games , Beating Cal in 2008 when he was at Memphis & losing to Cal in 2012 while at Kentucky.
So in reality Cal has don actually ZERO better then Bill and that is with all that superior talent that Bill can't recruit. Cal constantly landing top ranked or Top 2-3-4-5 ranked classes .So what does that say ? - Cal does less with more talent ?- Could Bill have won more Championships with that talent ? - -Who knows ? - Thing is Calipari has done exactly nothing more then Bill during his time at Kentucky then Bill has i his time at KU
Plus PLEASE don't try and throw out feeble reasoning saying WELL CALIPARI has been to the final four more then Bill. been hearing talk off the sports radio and now reading off other boards. Being said that Big 12 executives are watching closely as PAC 12 negotiates new TV deal in 2024 when the current agreement with Fox & ESPN expires. If the Pac 21 media rights revenues approximates Big 12 there is the feeling within the Big 12 thats some PAC 12 schools might be interested in joining. The schools being most mentioned are Arizona , Arizona State , Colorado & Utah - -with rumors of the BIG trying to get the Cal Schools USC ,UCLA , & the others make this more probable.
Then you got the AAC raiding the Mountain West this craziness is just getting started

All teams have that same problem Dragon - - even other tough hard teams have those same problems - shouldn't be any harder on us then them when it comes to working out those bugs

i Agree with you I enjoy the more difficult games. When you play a quote unquote cream puff teams what are you gaining - -you need quality teams that you compete with , just don't really think you gain anything by playing a lot of lesser teams -well maybe then gain some experience for Bench

Ya, I'm also in the mindset. Was going to post , is it same strange when you post and say your not that upset when getting be beat like that 49-22. I know it mat sound strange but I'm actually encouraged to a degree, We have our QB. Ya the game got kind of out of hand late. Yet I mean about a 1/3 of the way through the 3rd quarter we were there in that game had closed it to 28-22.
Yet you can see progress believe it or not, more talented - -Bean is going to be very solid unless our O- Line doesn't get him killed - that blind side hit he took - - MERCY he not build big enough to take a lot of hits like that. I still say Luke Grimm is a stud every time that kid plays he produces - - Arnold gonna be good - -I think not to long Neal gonna bust out - seeing glimses, just over all things are looking up.
