you could very well be right - -not saying your not by any means about being serious with anyone in the top 25. Did a little looking with recruits and found that between 247 sports & Rivals KU was either listed as top five consideration or at least mentioned with 10 -25 of the top 25 recruits for 2022 & - -19-50 recruits, so I would say that KU was in at least in decent in recruiting at this stage. Now how things pan out have no idea. All I know a lot of things can happen between now and then - -but 10/25 & 19/50 not to bad at this point.
One I found interesting was # 3 on 247 & 3 5 by rivals was 6'4 CG Amari Bailey out of Chatsworth Calif - -247 had his top 5 at this point as UCLA , Alabama , Depaul , Illinois & KU - hadn't heard that name mentioned before - - -Another name I hadn't heard before that is # 15 by Rivals is Sadraque Nganga 6'9 PF out of Phoenix Arizona , someone to keep your eye on & the last one for me might of been mentioned not sure # 11 by 247 & rivals is - - - Kijani Wright a 6'9 PF out of La California has his top 5 at this point as Arizona , Arizona State , Arkansas , California , & KU

Dave had 13 points & 7 rebounds. Pretty decent night all in all ya 3 TO's but if you want to be honest we should be happy with that - - we shouldn't need much more then that on an average night, point wise no reason we need more then tht with the other scorers we have on this team - -if we can get that kind of production out of him on a regular basis - - - I'm fine. - -If we would of gotten diddly squat out of Oachi wouldn't of had to worry about it - -when you have him flat line then people magnify other players play. - -I mean come on ya maybe if you want to get really picky he could of gotten 2-3 more rebounds.
Yet if you look at it and see what he contributed tonight comparing it to what he has been getting and getting this kind of contribution against a really good quality opponent like this - -unless your just a chronic complainer you need to realize this is progress from him - -he is going to be fine

He shot 5-7 in the first half and that's all he did. If he wasn't in there other people would have scored and contributed more to the game. He left wide open shooters all night, didn't rebound well, never ever holds a screen, got called for a moving one, shot off balance garbage after the first 10 minutes, there just is very little to like. Still can't time a blocked shot for the life of him.

Whoaa , ya I had to check on the ft's after you posted that. - holy cow your right for sure. - - In 3 games they have attempted they are 40-48 - -48 that's it - -averaging 16 attempts per - -KU has doubled that in MADE free throws KU is 82-119 in 4 games averaging 29 attempts per - -quite a difference
Well some things I noticed about the game tonight. - -some stats:
Creighton just really doesn't turn the ball over , takes really good care of the ball - - 7.7 per game.
KU on the other hand needs to tighten things up - -( Marcus ) -- KU has more TO'S then Assts 13.2
DO NOT put these guys to the line FT'S - - - - -83.3 % - -Shoot 51 % from the field
Another thing that kind of surprised me for as big as they are - -looking at the players not real impressive in the rebounding - -they avg 36.7 per - - KU is averaging 42.2
They like to score averaging 85.3 per like to get out and let it fly - -yet really only shooting 32.9 from the 3 -compared to KU'S 39 % - -so we shall see - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Here we go again , THIS is why when I hear people say they want Dave on the Bench then - - Great BUT at some point during the year or postseason why have JUST GOT TO have him on the floor. he may not be the best option but unless w have a big and I mean a 6'10 big that can help on the boards against this leauges other Big men and you know & I know he can help on the Boards - -we have seen it unless he is there to help out it's going to get ugly easy score after easy sacore on put backs by these guys WV will have a field day - -we don't really need huge out put in scoring for him but need him to help get rebounds, on top of that if we don't have him - -what the hell you gonna do when Jalen gets in foul trouble as we have seen quite a bit Jalen is or has been the ONE consistent guy so far to get decent rebound numbers - if he get's in trouble - - now what ?

Ya i agree Seems lie Christian gets beat often enough on the drive for one & there are others. The biggest issues for this team is not getting enough at PG and from McCormack. Fix both of those issues offensively and this team would be fine. Defensively its going to get bad as the season goes on I fear. No rim protection.

Clubbed Oral Roberts yesterday 100-59, some of these stats were crazy :
30-0 run in the 2nd quarter , 66 points I think they said at the half , 66 rebounds , they shot 81 % in the 2nd quarter and finished the quarter outscoring Oral Roberts 39-3 shot 71.4 % from the 3 in the 2nd quarter.
Coach has had a couple of really good recruiting years back to back - he has just GOT to start gettng more W's in Conference - did a little better last year but like to see a little better overall in the Conferene

Boy really weird Season already , How long has it been since we have seen where in the top 25 Kentucky has been unranked this early? - - Answer it's been a long time - - a LONG TIME.
This : - -How many of you TRULY deep down in your heart , objectively feel that KU is the 5th ranked best team in the Nation at this point ? - Love My Jayhawks but I really can't justify us being the 5th ranked team in the Nation at this point anyways , just not there -- not yet anyways. we -we have beat an un-ranked team by 4, - - a talented but very young struggling Kentucky team that's just not very good at this point , that got their butt handed to them by Georgia Tech , by 3 points on a Neutral floor , we beat Washburn - - I don't exactly call any of those true Quality win/good winds at this point, we have struggled in two of those game playing really ugly, I just can't justify a # 5 ranking right now - same being said by many others
I see us more around 8th or 9th right now , not saying we won't be deserving of that ranking later in the Season or higher but RIGHT NOW - - -no. I realize it's just a domino effect teams above you losing and such. - - Long Season and it may seem like I'm throwing shade on the guys but not really , not saying we are not a solid club - -just got work to do.

I understand the Miles connection & that's a solid choice however with him having no prior Coaching D-1 experience then if we go that kind of route then why would we not give Danny the Chance ?
I think he would be equal to Aaron , he obviously has ties to the KU program , excellent Coach in working with big's & he does have D-1 Coaching experience all be it he has had some struggles mainly at Wake.
The thing with Wake and a big reason for the issues he had there is has been brought up before having to fight Duke & Nc for recruits right there in their stomping grounds and such for part of it could do worse, would love to be able to have him back to work with the Big's again
