just got through watching KU /K State on ESPN 2 - -really good game. K/State ranked 10th in the Nation BUT our Ladies got the win 58-55 . S M'ya Nichols big game 22 points - -Jackson I think 12 points 8 rebounds and 8 blocks .Women Bracketology had KU as the first four out before today so gotta believe this really helps. - -- - KU with the 6th toughest Schedule in the Nation -Great Job Ladies

Alot of these fricken tweets of twitter and such are the perfect chance for people who do not like Filpowski . - --People who don't like him have found their opportunity to take pot shots at him or about him with the court storming , hell I don't like him either really, but not because of him personally, don't know the kid, but just because it's Duke.

Having said that I'm sure the hell not going to run to twitter and blame him saying it was his fault and other things , the guy was trying to get off the court .I could see where he actually looked scared for his safety, just trying to get off. On the other hand you have these idiots storming the court mass chaos just so they can group up with a bunch of other idiots so they could hop up and done act like fools.

Hell half of them probably didn't even know why they themselves why they were storming the court- - -only that a bunch of other kids were doing it so it must be fun, to hell if someone got hurt. - -Got to be stopped

The big thing was our bench was able to give the starters a couple breaks. maybe not much , but they held fort and like Bilas said they actually up the lead. -i's just a must to get something to help these starters a break

goes to show what kind of year it has been this year in College Basketball, -- -Ranked teams have gotten beaten by un ranked teams 145 times this year

Just saw where KU placed 88 Athletes on the All Big 12 Academics - - -We had 75 first team ,-- --& 13 second team - -pretty good.
Our KU football team lead the way with 40 Football players on the All Academic team,--Three received the perfect 4.0 GPA they were : - Tabor Allen Kwinton Lassiter, & Torry Locklin

The Ladies Volleyball team tied for 1st for the most players on the team within the Conference- -Great Job Ladies.

In order to qualify for the team a player has to maintain a 3.0 GPA or Higher cumulative in the last two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 % of the teams scheduled contests

I would say we done pretty good - -Great Job Athletes -Rock Chalk

After reading this article looks like we going to have to do some figuring. -- Article says that the Phog & Booth Athletics 'Building will be closed coming up starting from March 7th through October..
which if the 24-25 Basketball schedule is like this years - -looks like there might not be no Late Night plus at least One game that we gonna have to figure out. - -Late night this Season was like early October - -and then we played Illinois later in October. Looks like there will be nothing in the Phog in October this year.

I hear ya, I have never questioned Jalen about his back issues--- these things are no joke.-- - I've had 4 surgeries and been told they have went up my spine as far as they can, I have went from stainless steel screws to when they went back in the next time and went from stainless steel to titanium screws cause they are better, I've had spacers put in on both sides - -I've had a bone take out of my hip and put in my spine and a bone from a sterile cadaver put into my hip-- all dealing with my back injuries, so I know exactly what JD 6 is going through.- Recoup time can take up to 6 weeks each time. -I'll never call Jalen soft or question - if they say he has back issues - he has back issues, you have to go through that till you can understand

Tried Cortisone shots -- steroids, I have had about a 12 inch needle rammed up my spine for my back and them telling me not to move because if they slipped it could cause paralysis while they drained fluid out of this sac that's in your spine- -no funI understand JD's situation for sure -- just hope he can be healthy for the full year

We knew he wasn't coming here.. with the possibility of Hunter coming back ( which I still am not sold on that happening 100 % ) & then having Flory here also. Plus Maryland being his home State makes it easier for family & friends too watch him play, I would of taken him , but for sure not going to kill us that he didn't. Shouldn't surprise anyone at all

Very long night. Didn't get to bet till 2-- 2:15 this morning , had a horrible day yesterday - - -AGAIN. - -My Niece that lives across the street from here in Topeka has -- Run away again - --her fourth time, and this time I think she has succeeded. - -Her dad works 2nd shift 3:00 p.m - -till 11:00 - -trying to make inn's meat so he can support her and pay his bills She I guess had mentioned to kids at Schoo she was running away this morning - she just turned 14. -somebody contacted her mom and told her what she had said, so she came over and was going to take her to her place , BUT my niece wormed her way out - -saying she wanted to stay home and promised she would be there when her dad got home. - The mom told her dd she wanted to stay home so he said ok as long as she was gonna be there when he got home

Well the mom was there at about 9:00 last night - -dad didn't get home till about 11:10 -so guess what? somewhere between those times she took off. - -he bed sheets were made up like she was in bed & he found her house key , so we both said well that tells me she is not planning on coming back, She has now been gone almost a day - - -no clue where to begin to look. -- Police came out took report
I'm just sick, she had to go out the back door and jump the back fence Front Porch light was out and it's never out - -feel like it's my fault and of course they said there was no way I could of ever known. Lot of things gaining steam , we got College presidents meeting tomorrow talking about the College football playoff Money, been talk that not close to agreement on amount yet. - -BIG & SEC wanting the bigger slice though. More talk about Florida State being able to get out of the ACC - - ACC sounds like wanting to negotiate now with Florida State realizing there is NO WAY they would get the 500 Million they first talked about for teams wanting to get out. - -More realistically looking at probably around 200 million or may just walk out with the 120, gonna be interesting. Then your chances are your other schools exiting after. trying to be able to withdraw for same price which likely not gonna happen.

Talk is Florida St chances are land in the BIG- - then we have all this Conference re-alignment picking up. - -Strong rumors of the SEC wanting North Carolina- & Virginia- -then you have NC State being attached to NC - Same with VT being with Virginia. - talk about separating those - as quite possibly the SEC doesn't want NC ST and VT. , may not have a choice, they want NC -they may have to take NC state same with Virginia & VT.- -talk of possible Clemson or Miami to BIG also.

Then you have the others - lots of talk on possibility of Louisville - - Pitt -- -maybe NC State if they do separate and same with VT to Big 12 & possibly if the BIG doesn't want to take Clemson or other way around not wanting Miami - -then either of those schools possibly Big 12 -gonna gt crazy - talk about ESPN not renewing their contract after 2027 with the ACC. -

This is gonna be a big week lots coming out - -Presidents tomorrow & then the Commissioners the next day -we shall see

Am I the only one routinely disappointed with KU's FT shooting? Year after year. KU was 9/18 yesterday; OU hit 17/23, 74%. Come on now, a top ten team must make FTs, especially on the road where Big 12 refs always make sure the home team shoots 5-10 more FTs.

That really hasn't been the case nearly s much this year. - -KU as a team going into yesterday was shooting at 74 %- -pretty solid average - -right there with all other tems in the Big 12 -- just not yesterday

KU is 125th in FT% nationally and 7th in the Big 12. That's not great, but probably to be expected when this isn't a great shooting team.
