Just got through watching a pod cast about Sheryl Swoops, the pod cast was with host Jason Whitlock. Now we all know about Jason Whitlock - kind of a clown, BUT actually was an interesting podcast
Sheryl Swoops going off about Katlyn Clark breaking the record three weeks ago this took place, now she had to come back and try to defend her comments about Clark - Jason took her comments to task - -loved it. - Now she made one of the most ridiculous statements w have heard she says Now first ( I am not racist, Black people can't be racist ) lol - - Whaaaa? - - Jason thought that was pretty funny, kinda like we can't ? lol
Then she had made the accusation of why Katlyn had or was able to beat the record. -Saying that Katyln was 25 yrs old had been in College for 6 yrs and took about 40 shots per game - -Jason called her bluff on that saying actually Katyln had just completted her 4th year of College - - was 22 years old-- and averaged about 20 shots pe game --Sheryl just made heself look twice as bad sa he first appearance geez

I dunno. That 2020 team was one of my favorites. I still feel hollow about the sport. 2022 wasn’t even that great for me following the huge disappointment that was 2020.
While others are extremely pissed that KU is only a top 15 team, I’m pretty damn happy they’re doing this well with no horrendous baggage on the team. Winning with Arterio would just be gross. So actually there is not a lot of pressure like in other years cause of the way this season has played out. I'm actually kinda of excited for my Packers this upcoming season. Jordon Love progressed quite nicely from about the middle of the Season to the end, Ended up making the playoffs, got a win against the Cowboys so things looking up. As much as I like Aaron glad to done with the drama, the Packers have an exciting young deep group of receivers, young QB and oh ya Aaron Jones.
Actually looking forward to the Season, things might not be as bad as us Pack fans had thought, might be interesting

So trying to model after Kentucky on offense is something that Self's been there, done that, and didn't win a title with that style. I'd rather Self copy the formula that's won himself a couple of national titles rather than any other formula.
Kentuckys defense Sucks- --- in the Torney they gonna be in trouble because like was mentioned in some podcaasts the scores have tendencies to be lower high 60's - -Kentucky can't guard. They run into a team that has a slowre pace they are in trouble

Well listened to podcast today and there is a lot of talk about the latest format for the CFP's. -The newest CFP format is gaining a lot of steam and actually they think this is the one that will be ending up being the new format.
It would be a fourteen team Module - -and the Breakdown would be THREE Automatic Bids for the BIG - - THREE Automatic Bids for the SEC - -and then TWO Automatic bids for the Big 12 - - - Two Automatic bids for the ACC - - -Norte Dame would get a bid if they were ranked in the top fourteen in the Nation - & then there would be THREE at Large bids - -This format would help the Big twelve because they would be getting TWO bid instead of just ONE. - -more money, the payouts still pretty uneven but still more money A lot better for football rather then the BIG & SEC getting FOUR BIDS compared to the Big 12's ONE BID - -Sounds like in the end this will be the one, would be in place for 2026. - Hope this works out a 3 --3 - --2 - -2--- -3 -1

He has stated repeatedly that how the University had treated him and his wife so well and they like it really well here, and would like to retire here. - -He has turned down multiple jobs or where he had been mentioned , I think with this raise and watch he will get additional years added to that contract right now goes till 2029. -I think with the stadium remodel which he was a big determining factor in getting that done, and these recruiting classes - I don't think he is going ANYWHERE
Couple of tid bits : - If you get the chance there is a nice post / article on our future QB - -I think he is our future a JD6 version 2 - - maybe a little better - he lead his team to Michigan State title, great write up on him - -kid is a stud big time offers stayed loyal to KU - -article comes from TOS under 24 recruiting. KU now has two really good QB'S coming in, gonna be hard to hang onto both.
Another piece I saw was Jalon Todd one of our prized recruits , enrolled early has already gain 16 pounds and Gildersleeve tested him out to the equivalent of running at 21.03 MPH that's insane-- -guess you could call him quick lol
Also happen to see an article off ESPN they had I think yesterday , it was they had listed College top ten intriguing QB'S in 2024 --and they listed JD6 in there really nice write up on him.
Also saw an article talking about KU having a better chance of making the CFP in the upcoming yr then Oklahoma, needless to say that yes we KU are now Relevant, well actually seven schools that had better chance to reach the CFP over Oklahoma and KU was one of them.-- I'm ready for some football lol

It could happen , do I think it will happen ? - Probably not, but have to agree and again it's because we have become so spoiled to all the really good teams of the past , were just not use to going through this, and it just amplifies this when we do. -Were just so use to winning , sometimes our expectations are just to high. This team just has to many flaws. -- Were not that good of a rebounding team , we are below average three point shooting team, and sure if your two point conversion rate is good , which ours is but that isn't going to hold up when your making two point shots and the other guys are just killing it from the three.
We turn the ball over to much , we go through long extended periods struggling to score the ball - - just lots of flaws with this team. To me Hunter Dickinson was over hyped , I've said from day one he was a bad fit for this team. -- Like the word Bill uses at times, I think he is soft, and slow. Either he is naturally slow, OR he just lacks the hustle getting down the floor, now if it was any other player jogging down the floor-- -Bill would yank his ass OUT in a heart beat but he knows he is not in a position to do that with Dickinson. With his big body & frame he should be an absolute beast down low. Sure he gets his share of rebounds but how many does he GO GET ? I mean like I've heard , a lot of those rebounds practically fall into his lap, but how many does he just take with aggression like - - -THATS MINE ? demand the rebound.- -His numbers have fallen since conference play- -his FT % has crashed dramatically, shooting 85 % in Non Con to around 68 % in Conference games- - we can't have that. He has went from a lot of talk for National player of the yr--- Big 12 player of the year and he isn't getting either. Yet it's not ALL Hunter, our lack of success is a total team failure - -we just don't have it this year.
Our lack of Bench- - - then we have the Morris screw up that we needed for our go and get it bucket maker, a guy that could get his own shot- - probably our only really true 3 point threat, ya Johhny has done ok , actually better for a freshman and actually a kid that's not even suppose to be in College for another year.
Just an ugly year for us. Goes to show that even true blue bloods can have an off year, and our opponents are eating this up, cause were down. Bill screwed up this year. I think you can see things that are problems. Point production is down, with our better teams when we got out and run , run , run we were averaging in the upper 70's per - -this year to many high 60's to low to MAYBE middle 70's. This loss last night I'm sure probably dropped us to a 4 maybe 5 seed in the Tourney, but let's be realistic, unless things change , and change quick we will be lucky to make it out of the first Weekend. Good news is better times are ahead in the future for us. You can take it to the bank- -next yr. - -You watch, these teams better enjoy it, now kick us while we are down , THEY BETTER HOPE WE STAY DOWN CAUSE WHEN WE GET BACK UP - - - and we will get back up - -KU IS GOING TO BE KICKING ASS AND TAKIN NAMES -Don't worry my KU Brothern , the sun still comes up in the East and Sets in the West hang in there it WILL get better- - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
