It might not be as bad a move to bring them on a football weekend as you think. It sends a message that screams at KU basketball is king, period. When players visit schools like Bama, Georgia, Auburn, Texas...they quickly get the message that football rules...which school would be more attractive to a basketball prospect?

Well ya guess that's true , hadn't really thought about it like that I reckon. In this particular case I am really not overly worried anyways, with His family going to KU he has been introduced to KU pretty solidly anyways I imagine and he knows all about the KU football program difficulities -but yet your 100% right. - I sure would like to see it become at least somewhat of a more balanced sports situation though you know? - I mean at least to where we as fans could look forward to a nice Saturday afternoon of College Football to compliment our basketball. plus isn't it true as I have heard I believe that football is the revenue maker in College sports?

Anyways with this recruit I think we are in good shape. Some think he might even pop early - that would be nice. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@BShark

Welcome Back.

I can't see us taking McBride & Jacobs both, can you?.We could have 4 guys under the height of 6'2 battling for one position. Doesn't sound ideal? McBride would seem to indicate Dotson could be OAD? Concur?

I guess we could roll with two small guards again like the Frank/Devonte days. Just can't say that's ideal

I'm just wondering if Jacobs actually ends up coming. - his continues drop in rankings he hasn't signed anything just a verbal pledge right? Wonder if KU is still making contact? - At this point I almost feel I'd rather have McBride - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@Kcmatt7 Much more likely to get Chandler Lawson than Achiuwa. Also Sam Williamson is all but a Hawk at this point. I also think Zeke Nnaji is much more likely than Cockburn, but I'm not thinking either ends up at KU if things go according to plan.

@jayballer73 @BeddieKU23 The staff really likes Issac McBride. He's already been on a stealth unofficial visit and will be back for an official.

My early guess at next year's roster...

G: Dotson, Moore, McBride, Jacobs or a home run type signing ie Anthony or Hampton

G/W: Garrett, Agbaji, Williamson

W/F: KJ, Chandler

F/C: McCormack, Mitch, Hurt, JRE

Dam BShark great to see you back and of course you giving me my fix on the recruiting - so greatly appreciated . So I had read that Cockburn was going to visit this month, - -what happened to that did he visit or what? - I don't think we are getting Achiuwa - I just can't see him leaving the Coast could be wrong. You really think Chandler still comes here after Penny being hired at Memphis ? - Before I thought it was pretty much a given - now with Penny not so sure but I mean I would like to have him but if we land Hurt and Earle for sure no deal breaker. - - Honestly? - -I would much rather have his younger brother think he is the best in the group hopefully we can get him here.

Had to laugh at a poster of the LJW was talking about Williamson saying he was barely top 75 and JRE and Hurt was much more priority. - I will say true they for sure are a higher priority I would think BUT I still want Williamson he would be a sweet pick up - The only thing is if WE really want to land these guys why in THE HELL are we having them come in on the weekend of a football game lmao. Seems like that happens a lot. Aren't you suppose to bring in a kid and show him the attractiveness of the campus and school? - Umm our football isn't very attractive right now with an empty stadium on game day. - Yet I told this guy of the LJW I said man if your going to try and state facts at least get them right I said Williamson is a far cry from just barely top 75. - - Rivals # 35 - - - 247 sports # 41 -- & ESPN- - # 44 that's a little higher then barely top 75. - -Great to have you back buddy and as always ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

2019 Recruiting • Aug 22, 2018 11:53 PM

Ok guys , got a question. - Would I just be totally way out over the left field fence - just totally insane in possibly trying to compare Williamson a little to Wayne Selden? - -Is that just totally nuts? - -if it is it's ok tell me O can take it - -but just a spur of the moment thing. - I mean they are both right about the same height aren't they? - -Wasn't Wayne like 6'6? - -both hit the mid range jumper - -Wayne used to every now and then maybe not very often but once and awhile back his defender down and then hit the J. - -Just curious I would be happy with that , like I said it was just a spur type thing looking for some kind of comparison and that was my 1st thought - - hey I'm 64 getting old senile lol. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I think Bender is the best choice for Games 1-3. And that's how I'm going to look at it. Against a Big XII opponent, Kendrick is probably the better play.

I agree with you on Kendrick - still wish he would start from the get go. - I think it's just a matter of Coach know's he is riding a dead horse anyways, if he thought he had any chance of surviving I think it would of been a different choice. Feel like as much as we would like to see Kendrick - -Beaty will probably ride Bender till the cow's come home - not giving Kendrick much of an opportunity

@Crimsonorblue22 @jayballer73 I'm a little worried about VB to be honest. We have made the tournament 6 straight years but I think it could end this season. Not that, that is surprising with what we have lost the past few years but with most of our assistant coaches leaving that brought in those great classes, it will be interesting to see if Ray can ride that momentum with getting a new arena shortly or does he fall back into the mediocre like he pretty much has always been outside of the past few seasons.

Lol, to be blunty honest with you I just proved to myself and everyone else that this ol man is on a short trip to the looney farm lol. I have to ask myself why the hell did I post some about the women's Volleyball team HERE under this>

When I looked before I posted I could of swore this was on our Volleyball man of mercy- -I'm losing it I swear to goodness I'm losing it and I'm only 64 lol. This subject was about our Soccer team which by the way is off to a nice start hope they keep it going - - -I seen your reply and thought and realized what I had done -- ooops. Well anyways you know how I'm feeling about the Volleyball team for this year.

Yet since you mentioned it I'm worried to about the girls really young and we have lost ALOT. If Ray can make a decent push get invited to the Tourney we are in good shape, I'm just afraid it might be a challenge for us this year. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I don't think Mann has a say in his recruitment it sounds. If UNC wants that baggage that's fine. More often then not those types end up having some kind of issue. If he comes here, I'll welcome him and hope he is as good as advertised. His shooting ability is something that we could really use

I'm not sure that he would be like a must get anyways. - I mean I just don't think Dotson & Moore are going any wear in 19 - -so they'll both be back. Dotson is quick as quick can be ----but he isn't a one and done by any means I think he is more like a 2-3 yr player - Moore will be a 4 year player - I just don't see the need. - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Coach's say KU " The Team " • Aug 20, 2018 06:49 PM

just read an article. CBS ask more then 100 Coach's which team would suit up the best squad this season?

One team stood out , yet certainly wasn't a consenius 8 TEAMS receiving votes and no team racking up more then 40 % of total vote pct.

KU at 38% was the clear leader over a distant Kentucky at 18 % .

One Coach said: They have got enough coming back - - -Had some guys sitting - - - added to what they added in recruiting in terms off their recruiting class - -makes it where they have all the makings of a National Championship team. When Bill Self likes his team - - your in trouble. -- I think he likes his team. They are Deep - - Big - - -and can overwhelm you in a lot of positions.

Another Coach said: KU is Talented - - Deep - -And Old . - -They have to be the favorite to win it all. Dedric Lawson is going to dominate that league.

Another Coach said: They have the best mixture of talent and experience , plus they have transfers who have proven they can play and score at a high level.

The eight teams with votes were : - -KU 38 % - -Kentucky 18%- - Duke 15%- - Gonzaga 11%- - Tennessee 9%- - Virginia 5%- -Nevada 2%- - Villanova 2% - - - sound ok with me. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I could call your posts mostly or almost comical as well but I don't out of respect. Is it too much would expect the same in return?

Now, read the entire paragraph and not pick just a portion of it. This is what I wrote...

"Any QB can look good behind a superior OL and with quality receivers and RBs. Superior QBs play well regardless and actually make the OL and other personal look better."

Did I say anywhere that KU QBs were bad? No, I did not, I simply said that they were not Power 5 Starting caliber and we all know that is true. Obviously we disagree so further discussion is moot.

Moot is exactly what I was saying - -I could go further BUT I won't as for like you say " Respect" and I don't know it's true - -but again as you say Moot I don't know that's true at all but we are done

Hurt is still the most coveted recruit at the position JRE plays. He's better then JRE and a more versatile scorer.

JRE going to IMG wasn't good for KU, it was good for JRE as a player but it definitely opened the door for UNC with Green/Bacot in his ear. KU will get their shot, hopefully the last visit. I can't see Self losing this one but who knows what JRE wants for himself. The move to IMG certainly foreshadows he's okay leaving home.

I still don't believe offering Nnaji was in any way connected to JRE. JRE's recruitment is months away from being finished. Normally this would matter if a kid was close to deciding. Lots of kids across the country got offered in the past weeks since the dead period went into effect. Staffs had time to meet and put together evaluations and decide on what they wanted to do.

I hope your right. -you are right for sure about not being good for KU with him going to IMG - gonna have Bacot AND Green on him every day. - Agree again I think Hurt is much more valuble - and I think we sit in a much better spot with him then with Earle, if you were to of ask me that a couple of months ago - - maybe not so much.

I just feel that we may be losing ground with Earle. - I also still have to think , hope I'm wrong but this is where we differ maybe some I DO feel that Nnaji's late recruitment does possibly have something to do - we went so long and nothing on this kid , and then all a sudden BAM. -we might have been looking at him but hadn't offered , then with UNC entering the picture as strongly as they are all of a sudden we DO offer. true could be an insurance backup I've got this feel he has become that insurance backup because staff feels either we might be losing out on Earle OR Hurt. - -Could be wrong - -probably wrong but I'll feel a lot better when he commits. - Hurt is much better , but really want Earle if for nothing more then rebounding purposes - very strong. - - one of UNC'S thought process is now with them landing Bacot that Roy can promise Earle that he won't be forced into playing the five - - we will find out fairly soon as he wants to commit in the fall. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

They are at KU because they are not Power 5 starting caliber QBs, if they were they would be playing elsewhere; unfortunately that is the current status of the program. The only quality QB KU has had recently quickly decommited.

Any QB can look good behind a superior OL and with quality receivers and RBs. Superior QBs play well regardless and actually make the OL and other personal look better.

there is just no winning with you period.-- you only see one side almost comical - -take it I said ALMOST. - -take those same so called superior QB your talking about put them behind the current O-Line we have let's see how superior they are. - - you say ant QB can look good behind a superior line? - then put our current non Power 5 Qb behind that kind of line and we be just fine - -you just proved my point - -if our current QB was behind a much better line then they would look good - -with the current line they have no time to look like anything , cause they are running for their lives. Our current QB behind this piss poor O-line we have doesn't have the time to look for quality receivers - - luke warm recievers - -medicore receivers running backs nothing - -all they see is the Defensive lineman barreling down their ass.

I'm not saying the QB's is Heismans or anything like that - but the way you talk about them they are sure the hell not nearly as bad as you make them out to be. - Again your words ANY QB can look good behind superior OL- -your just solidifying my point put our QB's behind a superior O-Line and their gonna look good - be better - -end of story done debating with you - -AGAIN - Have a great day. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

2019 Recruiting • Aug 20, 2018 03:52 PM

well we have discussed this some but yet I still am wondering with this Robinson-Earle right now. - - Reading the NC site , their fans sure seem more and more confident - they feel Robinson Earle is committing to UNC. They bring up points like:

Now with Bacot committing and him and Earle both playing this year for IMG ? right that for sure helps , they say with Lester playing for Roy and being good friends that helps , they say with the chances of Green committing to UNC and is he playing for IMG also? that helps.

They make mention ( now I don't put a lot into this particular BUT) just like every other fan base - like we had/have with Bshark they have a so called person that is usually spot on and he had told them that UNC is widening their lead with Earle and KU is becoming a distant 2nd.. - The another point they try to bring up and I don't think this has any bearing on this what so ever makes no sense and if I were a member I would say as much - they feel with this FBI issue an KU it's biting us in the ass. - -My point on this is - - the FBI issue will in no way more likely then not would have any effect on Earle's standing. WHY? - mainly cause this FBI thing could go on for 2-3 more years - they haven't even turned anything over to the NCAA yet have they? - this could drag on forever, don't really think it will have any effect on 2019 recruits.

Then Bshark doesn't feel as confident with us landing Earle at least that's kind of the impression I get - -noting that UNC really making a push and let's be honest they are for sure doing that. - all these things is just another reason when I see this late sure for the new kid - -makes me think that YES - -YES we quite possibly are losing ground on Earle - that being the reason for the new kid on the block. I mean IF for some reason Earle does commit to UNC , we would be ok IF we can still land Hurt and the new kid But DAM I want Earle hate to him slip away - let me hear you. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I believe you misunderstood my post. I did no blame the QBs for the team woes in past seasons; numerous reason for that and the subject of a different thread altogether. I simply indicated that with none of the QBs being Power 5 starting QB caliber makes it difficult to pick one...that’s all.

YET how do you know that they are not when they haven't been given the time to play with a sufficent offensive line. - I think we do have P-5 QB's but you can't say for sure we don't - I can't say for sure we do at this point. - put them behind an Oklahoma offensive line - -a West Virginia offensive line - -A Ohio State offensive line THEN let us see how they produce. - If we get the same result out of them at that point THEN we can for sure they are not P-5 caliber QB or not. - Yet with the Offensive line they are working behind right now , there is no way we know that 100% without a shadow of doubt.

@jayballer73 The under-performance by the defense last year was the main contributor to the blow out losses. That was the biggest let down for my expectations. And I don't attribute much of the opponents' offensive success to our inept offense. The defensive line and the secondary just didn't compete on every play. Maybe the linebackers were competent, but certainly not a strength. As fans we focus on the offense and quarterback, but it's asking way to much of the offense to score more than 40 points a game because our defense gives up so many points. Our 2018 success starts on the defensive side with 3 and outs. Then, the offense won't get completely overwhelmed with playing from behind. I can't remember KU teams being so weak defensively.

I agree with this too. yet people complain about the secondary on the defensive side - understand BUT - -here also the majority of the blame as you say should be placed on the D-Line. - -No Pressure. - how many QB sacks on the year? - how many hurries from opposing QB'S ? resulting in INT'S ?

No matter how good/bad a secondary is even really good secondary's can only contain for so long if your defensive front is allowing the opposing QB to have time enough to eat a sack lunch there is NO secondary that contain receivers for that length of time - it could very easily be on the initial coverage secondary is where they are suppose to be - -but if the front isn't getting any kind of pressure it is like plucking birds off the cloths line when they have all day to pick out a receiver. - The secondary not good but our D-Line makes them look a lot worse. - -So again it's both sides of the ball with our line - - O-line - - - - D-line QB isn't really as bad as some want to make them out - - -Secondary not as bad as some want to make them out. - either way it ALL starts up front. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Let me say this again. Some people want and are trying to place the blame on so called sub par QB'S - - I have to laugh at that , there are some that are ignoring the more obvious facts - -yet some want to ignore and put the blame on the QB's. Our QB'S are not the problem - -ARE NOT. - Are they a part? quite possibly, but they sure the hell aren't as bad as some here want to try and make them out to be. Let me say this again how can anyone rightfully judge these QB'S at the present. - We haven't truthfully been able to see what to do bring to the field.

What we have seen is their ability to get the hell out of the way and run for their lives and trying to do something ANYTHING trying to improvise from yet a broken down play. - Now why is it a broken down yet another play? - Because people some here fail to realize - - acknowledge where the REAL problem lays. Where does the play really start? - -What is the most vital part ?-- The real problem , the honest to GOD'S truth of where our problem lays and I'll say it again - is THE OFFENSIVE LINE - - THE OFFENSIVE LINE. if you can't get your big uglies to do what they are on the field for - -it doesn't matter how good your QB is - - - - he isn't going to look good, what your gonna see is what appears to be a sub par power 5 QB and in turn a target for people to place blame. - What your gonna see is and you better look quick is what appears to be a sub par power 5 QB because won't be anytime at all before your gonna see him out for the season from injury. - -WHY? - because the offensive line isn't doing squat to protect the QB.

Most of our plays end up in our QB being in scramble mode just to keep a play from turning a HUGE loss into a 2-3 yard loss - -because of our true problem the Offensive line that can't block worth a shit. - -It's not gonna matter who our QB is until we get the main problem fixed - - -offensive line. Until they learn how to maintain a block for the run/open holes for the running back - - tell they learn how to pass block - it's not going to matter.

I'm not saying our current QB'S are some monster studs 5 star rated QB'S but they sure the hell aren't as bad as some try to make them out to be. - I have seen the few times when the play isn't getting blown up our just a plain horrible play call from the Coach that they are carrying out I have seen signs of them being better then what some people try and place on them -that's just horse shit. If we are going to point fingers then dam at least point them at the right people - -it all starts with your offensive line and protection

I've prided myself - - I've tried really hard , maybe not as much here but on OTHER boards , when I go and see bashers of Coach Beaty day - - after day - - after day people no matter what you could tell some of these people we had just landed the # 1 rated QB in the nation - - we had just landed the # 1 running back in the Nation - - we had just landed the # 1 defensive lineman in the Nation and they STILL wouldn't be happy - -they STILL would find somehow to twist things around just so they could hear themselves bitch. - -YA THOSE kind of people. - - I've ALWAYS tried to back Coach against these people. - - - - I've tried - - - I swear to GOD I've tried -I've tried soooo hard to stick with Coach - - but NOW umm , umm , umm - -I just can't do it any more - - I can't. - - This guy gives me NOTHING to work with - how can you try and support someone when he has nothing for battle. I feel like I'm going into war for him with nothing more then a used # 2 pencil and ONE sheet of wide lined note book paper. - - welp I'm DONE - - DONE-DEE - - - -FINISHED - -it's a WRAP

WHY ? - -this guy I swear to GOD - -this guy - - David Beaty that is supposed to be the Coach of our KU Jayhawks - -this guy for the 3rd straight year - -he can't even choose a fricking QB before game day - it seems. - Holy fricken crips. - -Just read off the LJW here we go - - - -AGAIN. - - the guy says " we just need ONE more look " - - - -" has not seen enough " - - - - - " Doesn't want to rush an announcement just to make it " - -OH MY GOD. come on man - -you can't make a decision again for the third straight year on who you want your starting QB to be?

You need ONE more look? - -what the hell have you been doing? - -have you been watching? - - ONE more look? - -jumpin - - gee - -hossa - -fats -what the hell you gonna do - -right before kickoff are you gonna ask the ref's if you have enough time for ONE more look at your QB'S to see who you want?

You haven't seen enough? - - -come on man get real. - -You have had all of spring practice/drills - -you have had these fall practices - - you don't know ? - - you can't choose? - -you want me to pick him for ya? - -how about this flip a coin best two out of three - -OR , OR , OR how about rock -- scissor paper?

You don't wanna rush? - -hell that's not in jeopardy - - BELIEVE THAT -this has become such a joke , I mean no wonder we are the laughing stock and everyone wants to schedule in Football. - -playing us is stuff the stat time. - -how can we expect these kids to preform with ANY confidence - - expect to have any stability in our program when we have a Coach that can't even make a dam decision about who he is gonna run onto the field at QB? - -My question too is - -if it is such a migraine of a head ache for you to decide who the hell you gonna start at QB in a game - -then how in the hell are you EVER gonna be able to make a decision in a critical part of the game. - -I sure the hell hope you don't have that hard of time deciding what to do when you use the bathroom - -wipe? - - -or not wipe? -all I can say is DAM MAN - - -could we please find someone to lead this team.

OK again sorry guys I really am but mercy the flood gates just opened - - I couldn't hold back anymore. - -I don't know how many times I tried to defend this guy . BUT when he gives you NOTHING then how the hell can you defend him? - -what do I try and defend his Texas accent? -- -NOPE I'm done now - -wore myself out , worked myself into a sweat - -my Vent is over - -my ranting is over- -my cussing is over - someone please tell me again when Basketball starts. - -It's sad - it's just down right pathetic sad - - sorry to take up so much space but I've been holding back for a LONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG time - -I tried Coach but with this - -sorry I can't save your ass any more. Lastly now that I have kind of regrouped I'll stil end by saying - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Looks like Bacot is announcing for UNC tonight. Not sure what affect if any that will have on JRE. Also looks like Roy is going to get Tre Mann as they are trending for him.

I am hoping we can get someone to pop at Late Night or shortly after to get the ball rolling and some momentum for this class.

I was wondering about UNC and Earle too with Bacot - -but then thought again They list Earle as a PF - - - & Bacot as a Center so that really wouldn't have an impact on Earle

@Woodrow All I'm gonna say in response to your post is , as I've said multiple many times. I don't give a rat's ass you say until we have a QB that is the big 12 caliber - - again we could have Tom Brady - - - Aaron Rogers who the f - - - ever directing this team , you could have them back there and if our OFFENSIVE LINE is NOT any better then it has been in the past ain't gonna make 2 cents worth of difference.

I actually feel Kendrick/Carter could run this team IF they weren't spending 95 % of their time running for their lives, and or getting buried from lack of protection. If our offensive line can't pass protect with a tinkers dam -- if our QB'S do not even have enough time to let the play develop , play out - -hell if our QB'S don't have time to check of go to a 2nd/3rd option - -have time to let our receivers run their routes - - - -hell our QB'S don't even have time to half the time to just even throw it away because of pressure. - - I would be willing to bet at least 1/2 of the interceptions come as a result from our QB'S being drilled while trying to throw the pass - as a lack of pass protection.

We as fans are so quick to blame the QB'S and I'm as guilty as any other at times but seriously it all starts with protection. - Same with the running game - if this dam offensive line can't open holes hold a block , contain then we are screwed. - You could have any great running back wouldn't make a difference if there is not a hole to run through then were screwed he is going to look bad , but if there is no where to go he gonna be buried.

Bottom line is: - - Our Offensive line just HAS to be better period. this is where it starts. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

you know I've tried to be as big of supporter of Coach Beaty but man this is really getting old. - - Every year - - Every dang year. You can't tell me that these 3 guys are that close that this guy can't make a decision who he wants to go with for his QB. - -What you gonna do when you have a tough decision to make Coach? - -I mean really.

If you can't even come up with an answer for who your starting QB is gonna be at this stage then what are you gonna do about making a crucial decision in a game condition if and when that decision could ever quite possibly determine a game - -which in turn could determine your fate --this is what - - - -3 yrs in a row now we can't even decide who the starting QB is gonna be?

If that's the case and we can't truly separate our QB' S - - well then we have seen the results in the past from 2-3 - so here I'll make it - - take the one's we got put them on the O-Line and switch the Center to our QB for cryin out loud - can't do any worse right? - I mean you know I'm kidding but dang come on now make a choice and LET'S GO

well read where we just picked up another CB for this Zeke NNaji. That makes 5 CB"S in just the last 2 days since we have heard anything on him. - -This pick was from Jerry Meyer I suppose we could take all3 maybe Hurt -- -Robinson Earle & Nnaji would be the # 6 - - # 18 - - & # 29 are we losing that much in the front Court? - guess possibly Vick - - -Doke -- & Dedric I guess

Got a question , now I understand that a lot feel like he is headed quite possibly to UNC but I read an article on Josh Green this morning and him cutting his list very soon and he was breaking down the schools and his impressions of the schools

He brought up KU'S name and he said: - - Coach Self really , really likes me. - how he thought Josh could come in and fit right in right away , and how Josh is a friend of Silvio's and talking to him about how Silvio liked it - -really talking KU up more then some of the other schools named I think anyways

So the question is - -do we have a shot? - -I think we do - -call me crazy - I just feels like our chances might be better then what some perceive holler let me know. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@kjayhawks Well thank you for that. It's truly appreciated for sure. I'm not so sure that I'm one of the best here lol, have a tendency to stir some feathers lol , I consider everyone here a very good friend and family and as we know even family argues has disagreements but that's why we are cool. - we rebound and let it flow off our back like water off a duck right?

I'm sorry for you and your trials you have encountered /gone through with the adoption/foster - to foster takes a special kind of person and I think it's a special person that will reach out and do so grow to love them as your very own- - - this world needs more people like yourself that will do these things.

I too feel that I am strong Christian - I waver at times , one of those times was when I lost my 3 month old to SID'S I was angry I was MAD. Through my selfishness I turned my back on GOD I was very mad at GOD I couldn't understand WHY he would allow this to happen, Then I remembered eventually we are not to question GOD'S actions - he knows best, and I'm so grateful that even though I turned away for a period of time GOD never wavered with me - he would tell me , speak to me and say I'm here - - I'm still here what an Awsome maker. - staying with me all this time I just give thanks each and every day for him allowing me to open my eye's and try to deem myself worthy of his love.

I would never want for ANYONE to have to go through a death of a child - -ANY AGE little lone like what my wife at the time and I endured. After all these years it still hurts - at times feels so fresh. Thank you for your thoughts that's what makes this site special to me - -It's all about family - and we are - -we are JAYHAWK NATION nothing could be better then that you have a great day my friend and as always I'm getting close to that ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Losing children seems the most devastating based on the two families I have known that have born that terrible loss.

They are my friend BELIEVE THAT not even close very devastating , and it can cause a real strain on a marriage. I encountered as much with this when we lost our 3 month old from SID'S. - -my wife at that time wanted to have another child right away and I said no. Because I knew all she was trying to do was replace Damon. I told her no, I said that would not be fair to the new baby, that would not be fair to me or her - -at the time she wasn't wanting a new baby for a new baby she was trying to fill a void and it was to quick couldn't do it cause some real tense times.

@jaybate-1.0 Parents are tough but at least somewhat expected at some point. Siblings are worse and a different thing. I can't imagine losing a child and have seen that push the parents into a much stronger relationship with God or drive them completely away. It is also can be very tough on the marriage.
Anyone close is hard though. Blessings!

Well I have had the unfortunate luck of losing 2 of my children. My 2 oldest son's I always say kids are suppose to bury their parents NOT parents having to bury their children. I lost my oldest boy to a car accident with him and his fiancé - then I lost my next to oldest boy at the age of 3 months old from Sids. I NEVER EVER forget that day out at the lake with our friends on labor day weekend many years ago. I'll never ever forget that scream I heard my wife let out - that scream is burnt into my brain and never ever want to hear anything like that again. THREE MONTHS OLD I got pretty bitter during this and turned my back on GOD for quite some time, felt like I had been cheated - my boy had been robbed of his life.

Losing a child is a whole different ball game. You appreciate it when people say things like Oh I'm sorry I know what your going through, and as a parent you appreciate that but like I have said NO YOU DON'T you have no possible idea what we are going through losing a child unless you have actually been through that yourself - there is no possible way just a completely different level. It's one thing to lose a mom or a dad or a brother or a sister BUT a child? - Lord have mercy on anyone who has to endure this - it is no game.

I'm just so thankful for all my friends here and the thoughts they have given me on the loss of my brother this truly is FAMILY JAYHAWK Nation. - -simply the best, and I appreciate all of you so much. - - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

At this point I think we try to get a visit and see what happens. I think there’s a chance we lose 3 bigs so might as well take 3.

Or my concern might be does KU staff have some inside scoop that we might be losing out on Hurt or Robinson thusly the quick surge for the new one.- I see we had 4 cb's just on him today alone ranked # 29 in 247 looks kind of thin hadn't really heard much on him - I just hope we aren't losing ground with Robinson Earle - - for me personally he is my # 1 get. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
