@Jethro I guess I’m lost on why you’re calling me out for saying I was SMH in the first half because about 20 other people were on here too. In fact if you go back several said the game was over but not me. Just curious what you’re thinking?

My keys were turnovers and rebounding. Had 4 turnovers and let up 10 offensive rebounds (2 in second half) end up out rebounding them by 3.
@Jethro about the defense in the first half. Don’t act like you was impressed with it or anyone else here for that matter.
Bob and Juan were terrible in the first half, think they combined for 20 here in the second. My issue with Bob is how bad he is defensively

Rebounding already a huge issue
@Texas-Hawk-10 It’s definitely trending that way currently but I’m not ready to stick a knife in both just yet. WV is 24th in the net, Tech 60th but Tech looks like a different team the last few weeks.

@Texas-Hawk-10 the all-star events have turned into a complete joke IMO. Turned into a popularity contest rather than whom deserves to be there.
The keys are rebounding and turnovers IMO. In the first game we absolutely dominated every category but those two. We had 15 turnovers and gave up 17 offensive rebounds both of which lead to wide open dunks and layups. I think our first shot defense had improved a ton the last few weeks now we have to improve the rebounds to take another step on that end.

Huge game In Morgantown this morning. Everyone said Tech was forsure out of the NCAA conversation with 12 losses but WV sits with 11 currently. I feel like this a must win WV getting in the dance a win Tech makes me think they can still get an at large bid if other cards fall right.
@drgnslayr I truly think Coach K, Roy Williams and Bill Self are all top 5 all time coaches. Jimmy B at Syracuse looks like a guy that got lucky one time we couldn’t make free throws and he had Melo.
@Texas-Hawk-10 she saw the gravy train running dry. Someone else will pick him up which is ludicrous IMO. But look at a guy like Urban Meyer with his track record. I’m ok with some second chance but some of these coaches just appear to terrible human beings.

Udeh had some good moments but channeling his inner Jeff Graves with 5 fouls in 13 minutes. I still remember Graves having 2 fouls in 36 seconds one time lol

I’m staring to dislike the net rankings, they have St Mary’s whom plays in a garbage conference ahead of us currently while they have 2 quad 1 wins and 3 total games. We have more of both in the last 10 days.

@drgnslayr they don’t show that on espn but they had 15 turnovers to our 10 and most of theirs turned into layups for us. We got up 10 more shots so hard for them not to circle that as a big issue tonight.
@Kcmatt7 that is true but we have ran into some under seeded 10s before too. UNI had 30 wins and had zero logical reason to be lower than 6. They ranked 24th coming into the tournament.
Insane that they shot 50% from the floor, 47% from deep and 9 more free ones but still end up losing by double digits. Feel like that’s something that doesn’t happen often.
@Crimsonorblue22 for sure we can work on it to honest I’m shocked we only got out rebounded by 4. Seemed like more than that watching. I think they had 14 second chance point most of them dunks.
@Crimsonorblue22 rebounding probably the only real issue in the way we played but it’s hard to not justify some of it with their size.

Gotta be one of the absolute worse officiated games in memory. When is the conference gonna hold these guys accountable. I wouldn’t have complained if Self decked one them.
