@HawkChamp KSUCK fans blame refs, we don't do that at Kansas, KSU missed 14 free throws, ended up shooting just over 50% from the line. I'll blame the refs when teams don't throw the ball outta bounds (KSU did several times), don't miss FTs, give up wide open layups, etc.

@HawkChamp one call doesn't make the game, I've only watched the past few minutes and KSU had 3 silly turnovers that lead to WVU points.

KSU holding a 9 point lead in the octogon of dumb with 8 minutes to go. Do we want a pissed off WVU? I think I'd like a 2 game lead 7 games in tho.
@chriz very true heck look at most of selfs home loses. Not to complain but half of those teams we spank 9 of 10 times.
I don't think we really played with great energy or effort outside of the first few minutes. We got up 19-4 with about 15 to go and was out played other than a few spurts the rest of the way IMO. Silly turnovers like crazy and messing up easy lob plays time after time. I think this team takes more possessions off than in the past on both ends, maybe it's because we have a such a short bench.
@Hawk8086 agreed I'm not saying we will go .500 or not win the B12, but you never know heck the 13 team lost 3 in a row including @ TCU for one of their 2 conference wins that year. I'm just keeping it real.
@HawkChamp we experience a bad stretch most years bud even the 08 team had a few games that they lost and had a few go down to the wire that shouldn't of.
Really the next 8 games we got are as tough as a run that we have had a lot of years. 3 top 10 road games as it currently sets. We will know how good we are after this stretch. I hoping we can win all of them but 6 will be fine with me but we could go .500 if we don't play well. We always have a spot in every season when we look mediocre and this could be it. So don't worry if a few Ls show up.

Why in the hell is game day at dook today? East coast bias much? Lol unranked Miami at a struggling #18 dook. Mean while #12 Louisville plays @ # 10 FSU, #14 Arizona @ #3 UCLA and #24 South Carolina @ #5 UK. Think they could've pick a better match up with these ranked teams playing one another smh.
Man I hope we come out and put it to these guys and give some rest to our guards. Texas hasn't been really blown out in conference play and we haven't blown anyone out in a good month. They play good enough defense that could hang in for a while if we score our avg I don't see it being a contest with how they struggle on offense. KU 88 Texas 75

I had a friend that lived there for several years and loved it at first but said politics took the place over and you cant move without offending someone, not surprising seeing some of the protest there the last few years, he's been back in KS for a few years now. This game could be a trap game with how we have played at home the last few weeks and looking at the huge week we have next week. I think our justice system needs a ton of work. I believe Mari's dad was in for dealing cocaine, in which he should be punished but he had too much time IMO. We have people in jail less time for killing folks than we do guys busted for dealing even soft drugs like weed, its just stupid. But good news for Mari, I know he struggled with this and I don't blame him.
Judas I stopped watching the OK state silo tech game it was 72-68 with like 10 to go. Silo wins 96-88. That's back to back home games letting up 96 for them. I thought we had bad rotation til I watched them, silo tech had about 10 wide open layups.
@JayHawkFanToo I watched a deal last year on the committee and they said they look at other rating systems too. They had to do something to get Syracuse in and SMU missed out a few years back with an RPI of 19. They all have flaws IMO, I pick on bracket off of kenpom every year and it's usually one of my worst. No system can predict a off night for a stud or a career game from a role player.

I have no problem with people saying what they see. I'm a realist if I think we are going to lose I'll say so. If I see an issue in our play I'll say it, I rather be that way then some that think we will win every game every year, which flatout wont happen. I remember shortly after joining this website I nearly quit because I was insulted for saying WSU would kick our butts and they did. Most people on that called me names and a troll never apologized for it (don't care at this point). But expect me to call it like I see it negative or positive (usually I have several for both lol).
AR is playing outside of his mind not questioning that. I think he is playing the best as of right now of any QB in the league. I've seen some people are calling him the GOAT and I think that's a little over the top currently because of what Brady has done and with what Montana did, He has to get several more championships before I say he is the GOAT.
No way man, remember when ksuck rushed the field and tore down the goal post in lawrence in the early 90s after the first time they had beaten us there in years. Lets not get down to there level.
Quick thoughts here before I'm out for the night. Nice game bye Bragg with 10 points and 6 boards, got after the offensive glass. Still needs to improve on defense but so do our other bigs, hopefully this gets him going. DG didn't shoot well but had 8 assists. Frank had some big buckets but wasn't great, hopefully his knee is okay. Svi had some very silly turnovers but canned some big 3s when others couldn't. LL didn't get many rebounds for his minutes but finished well at the rim on most occasions. JJ continues to shoot ill advised 3s and never really got going, but he had a big bank shot go when the game was tight. Vick is the new Mari, has silly mistakes but steals us about 5 possessions a game off of hustle. Loved his game tonight he got my player of the game vote. Disappointed in the TOs and Fts that really should've cost us, I think we lucked out that they didn't capitalize on them. Anyone remember the last college game with only 15 FTs, crazy but I liked the officials other than the listen to the crowd for who it's outta bounds off of RCJH.
