I'm disappointed that Fox sports or ESPN U didn't pick up this game, I guess its Saturday and football time but still ESPN 3 is blacked out here. Just hope we can get Texas we have finished second to them 4 years in a row now. I want a B12 title in something other than basketball.

@wissoxfan83 Yes most of the KSU fans are pissed that they missed out and with how Weber is doing he could be gone within a year or 2. But some others didnt think he would come back with how Martin was pretty forced to leave or get fired for his tactics.

We have seen some coaching changes yet again this year in the B12, last year Smart and Prohm were added this year we have Jamie Dixon, Brad Uunderwood and Chris Beard. Jamie Dixon takes over a TCU program that has yet to take off in the conference, I was actually surprised Johnson never got it going there. He has a brand new fancy gym to help get some talent in Fort Worth. He was formly the coach at Pitt and did ok IMO had a few confence titles when they were in the big east i think he will help bring to TCU to being competitive in the league but I bet it takes a few years. Brad Underwood takes over OSU and I think is the hot hire. Brad is a KSU grad and former assistant to Martin. Brad just got done beating WVU in the NCAA tourny with SFA last year. I work in Brads home town and live about 7 miles from where he grew up and even tho he's a KSU guy he's a dam good coach and will have Stillwater as a tough place to play real fast. I think he has some talent with the Evans kid and could be a sleeper to make the dance this season. Beard will take over in Lubbock this season which seems to be a place that not many coaches outside of Knight want to stay, Smith got this team back to the dance last season and bolted for Memphis. They lost a ton of players and always seem to struggle to get talent. I dont know a whole lot about Beard beside the fact he was hired at UNLV only to resign a few weeks later to go to TT. He was an assistant under Knight ther and lead Little Rock AR to the first 30 win season in program history and an upset over Purdue in LYs NCAA tourny. I think He's the biggest ? of the 3 new coaches. Hope we get some stability with our coaches I think it makes for a better conference but we now have 6 coaches with 5 years or less in their current programs.

*Our ladies stayed hot on and off the court tonight as they swept the Red Raiders of TT in Lubbock. Improving to 19-2 and 8-1 in the big 12. Kansas now winners of 7 straight games and 5 straight sweeps, still ranked #6 in the land. They get the all so important rematch vs conference leading Texas Saturday at Horejsi.

@Kcmatt7 I honestly could see where LL could play less than a year ago with the likes of Bragg and Udoka stealing his miniutes in a 4 guard line up.

@jaybate-1.0 I think texas will win a battle or two against us before to long but still believe they are a few years from being the team to beat. I think they will be good this year but so will we maybe next year is their best shot to end our run.

I dont really care what their record is as long as we kick their tails im good.

@wrwlumpy I hate bad calls but i also hate how much time is spent reviewing plays in all sports. Human error is a part of being a ref. If they do this why not make every stinking play reviewable, next they'll have stop watches for 3, 5 and 10 second calls to review if it was correct. Let the boys play a little enough with stopping the game and cheap touch fouls.

Ya my question is seeing how good Houston really isn't, how the hell did they shut down OU? My guess is it was a first game fluke. But the record that we let Perine set a few years ago could get broken by Mixon. The OU vs TT game was entertaining as hell tho, I rather watch that then a 10-6 game like Colorado and Stanford. The SEC is actually fun to watch the last few years now that they have offenses a few years ago it was boring as hell I remember a LSU Bama game that was hyped to hell and didn't even get a touch down in it final was 12-6.

2 Ohio state went down in in state college today and is no longer unbeaten, as well as number 11 Houston getting hammered at SMU which doesn't make OU look good or the fact that Mahomes murdered their defense tonight. OU ended up winning a shootout in Lubbock 66-59 but Mahomes had 734 yards yes 734 passing yards off of 52 completions from 88 attempts all B12 records. I'm not sure but i bet atleast one is a NCAA record. Dude only had 5 tds tho lol.

Kansas hosted OSU Saturday morning on homecoming and fell 44-20. The game was much closer for 3 quarters. Kansas jumped out to an early lead after a sack fumble force by Fish, lead to a Cozart to Quv. 68 yard TD pass. The teams traded points for the remainder of the first half with OSU holding to a 17 to 13 lead at the break. Kansas received the opening kick off of the second half and after two nice runs Kinner, he fumbled at our 26 yard line leading to a easy score for OSU, and after that the turnover monster continued to show its head, with cozart picks in total three Kansas turnovers lead to 17 cowboy points in the third quarter, Kansas did get a good drive of their own between some of those turnovers to add another touchdown. Kansas still had hope opening the fourth quarter on the OSU 5 yard line down 14 but turned the ball over on downs, then it was all done but the crying. I thought the offense moved the ball as good as they have this year with Cozart under center, his 2 picks were very costly one is kinda a 50/50 between him and Quv where he was open but the ball was well underthrown and he had to stop and try to catch it in traffic, it bounced off his helmet and lead to the INT with along return. Beaty didn't blame Cozart for ether of his picks although I'm not sure how throwing the ball right to the chest of a defensive lineman could be on anyone else. The offensive line played there best game of the season bar Rhode Island, we end up with over 200 yards on the ground and didn't let up a sack, Kinner outside of the fumble was stellar with 145 yards on 14 carries for better than 1o yards per carry. Cozart and co were sharpe early just didn't finish some drives but his accuracy seemed to get worst as the game wore on. Still one of if not his best game vs, FBS competition. Kansas had more yards and first downs until the last few minutes of the game where the defense looked tired and let OSU add a touchdown after a early FG in the fourth. I thought the defense played pretty solid for the most part again in dealing with 3 offensive turnovers that gave OSU the ball inside our 26 3 times and once at the 2. Ended up with 6 TFLs and five sacks. They continued to excel on third down baring a few tough 3 and long mistakes but held OSU to 38% conversion. They lead the B12 in this category. I think we made some progress today especially on offense, the sad thing of it is if we could just not turnover the ball so much we would've been there at the end. I still feel like we gave away the Ohio and TCU games and a chance to win this one. I think it is huge to compete at home for the sake of getting some people in there to watch and with the way Texas and ISU look I still have hope to get another W this season. Don't look now as we start a road trip next week to Norman and then to Morgantown to face 2 top 15 teams that will take a perfect game for us to compete in.

Impressed with the offense thus far pretty good numbers Cozart 13/19 for 148 with a TD and most importantly no turnovers. The first drive here will be very important if we can get a TD and Defense can get some more TOs we could have a shot. If we go 3 and out we could be as close as will be from here on out.
