@Gorilla72 I used to really enjoy Vegas. But this last trip ruined it for me. We are not extreme cheapskates or anything, but $51 for 2 single hamburgers, one order of fries and 2 waters ticked me off to the point where I won't go again.

In my opinion, every coach they've ever had has been a reprobate weasel that probably cheats on their income taxes and wives. But I mean that in the nicest possible way. And don't get too excited - I said "probably".
One thing that happened in our personal lives is that we had some close friends that we used to hang out with quite often. Well, we liked her more than him. Because he was (is) an Ohio State fan. So, obnoxious, lying, reprobate weasel whom we tolerated because we liked her a lot. So, he decided it would be a good idea to cheat on his wife of 30+ years (and probably his taxes too) and not only ruin their family, but also mess up our friendship with his wife because she moved far away.
Yeah, yeah. Could have happened to a Jayhawk fan too, right? But he was/is a Buckeye so it's just another reason to hate them.

I have a serious question for once.
During penalty breaks (so about 2 1/2 hours) the announcers were very complimentary of the KU program and the direction that LL has us heading.
My question is - did they talk like this when Mangino had us playing well and took us to bowl games in the day?
Is the program better or do we just have better players? I feel like the community embraces this team and definitely has better support from the A.D.
Bottom line - what's different about us now and 25-ish years ago?
