The talk at the combine is that Furphy is possibly returning to Kansas for another year, but he shot the ball so effortlessly, it's hard to imagine he didn't leave with first-round interest after the week in Chicago. The 6-9 wing didn't get a ton of touches during his freshman year at Kansas and shot 35.2% from 3-point range.

Also, the Chiefs signed their second round pick. Don’t make me spell his name!

That leaves Worthy unsigned. Expected soon they say.

Well, one milestone passed with the portal closing. Sounds like two off-season hurdles remain: Kugel and Furphy.

That could end up a straight switcharoo if the chaos continues.

I’m pretty surprised that Clemence is still here. Semi surprised that McDowell remains. And actually more than surprised that Elmarko stayed put.

Switching everything seems like a regular part of any Self defense now. Maybe in the off-season he can scheme up a way to keep Hunter in the paint?

I haven’t really watched him play much, but from what I’ve been reading drops are an issue.

His sophomore year he had 7 drops, but he also had a broken hand. The other two years it didn’t seem to be an issue. I’d hate to watch another player drop balls like the WRs did last year!

Ahh, great. Fingers crossed. And heck no, we don’t need any more pass droppers! For sure looking forward to that blazing speed. The problem about not knowing much about these players is that I wanna know more about these guys, so I read the scouting reports. Those can be negative. I’m sure even superstars have dinks on those reports. But given his slight frame, which is a real thing, I’ll assume we’ll have to use lots of motion to get him free off the line at first. That’ll make him even more dangerous!

The BYU kid apparently is all the rage!

May need a year to learn, but has the body and physical tool kit.

Draft day! It’s always a mystery who the Chiefs will take. My guess is WR, or they trade down into the 2nd round and load up on a few other picks.

The NCAA will no longer limit the amount of times that athletes can transfer schools. Previously, athletes were allowed to transfer one time and play immediately, but they had to sit out a full year if they transferred schools a second time without a waiver. The two transfer windows are still in place with the new ruling, and players can’t transfer schools in the middle of the year and play for their new school in the same season.

My brain is scrambled with all this portal movement, so thought I’d create a thread for me at least to track incoming, outgoing and potential lineups.
