@StLJhawk It is fun to gloat over their 'misfortune', (especially when it's Duke) but don't forget, each year it's one of the major conferences having that written about them. Just a year ago the ACC had half of the elite 8. The years of our early exits, 14,15, I think the big12 didn't do much in the dance those years.

@BeddieKU23 They don't really care about maximizing viewership apparently. Last night, on a day when they could play games all day long, they'd only played two games until our game started at 4:20. I had to get off to bed, waited til the end of the Duke game, but pretty crazy to move games into late at night on a weekend day.
@mayjay I was trying to see if he had said something. The thing is, we all look at the little screen in front of us and see something and think we know what happened. Sometimes we do, like the n0 call in the NW game Saturday. But none of us heard what else happened there with Vick.
Once when I was reffing a guy was on the sideline. He was on his toes with his heels over the line. I saw it clearly, but to everyone in the gym yelling at me, his foot was clearly on the line, but it wasn't. And as mentioned before, I'm guilty as charged, I'm always yelling at the refs. I'm still irate (ish) over KU duke (did ya'll see they lost last night?!!!!) in 1986.
@cragarhawk I didn't clarify my opinion on the U of I job, but there's great fan support there. You won't see many empty seats at a game there like you do in Stoolwater other than when KU plays them.
@bskeet Both of those could have gone either way. Josh's hand was right there. Wasn't blatantly a missed call. Vick's T, and this is just me, but, you make a great play, and so you have to stare down your opponent? Stupid, again, just my view on that, and so I so I can see why the ref called that.

From the couch it looks like Coleby should be coming off the bench ahead of Bragg. Several of us noted tonight that maybe the legal issue/pot issue has really thrown him off. Next year hopefully he becomes the guy we want him to become.

Officiating all year has been really poor. Big10 fans been griping all year. Yesterday UW seemed to be getting short shrifted until about 6 minutes left, then suddenly, the refs normalized and voila, Badgers are still dancing.

May be the Illinois upbringing in me, but I'd like to know why you said OSU is the better job. I'd say differently of course, but Brad's got a lot of work to do to restore that program, and by a lot of work, I mean he needs to wear his kevlar vest and get to the homes and streets of Chicago and get those kids to come to Champlain.

@jaybate-1.0 Evenly called game from my spot on the couch. Never screamed at the TV once, whilst I screamed a 1000 times during the NCAA attempt to engineer a game for east coast TV viewers in Pennsylvania.
Don't forget they have 7'2" 290 lb. Isaac Haas. This is a big team that we're playing. I'm nervous, and we're going to need Coleby, because Bragg's season has gone up in smoke, literally I'm afraid. He has been nearly worthless as a player with a couple of exceptions since January.

@approxinfinity 11 point lead at the half, except we melted down and it's been a 5-7 point game since then. We've been a little careless at times. All in all, it could be worse obviously. Made every FT this game too.
