Did you all discuss our No. 1 seeding today by committee? CBS didn't even show one clip of our team. It was all Villanova.

Difference so far is that we've mostly protected the ball and they haven't - 3 TOs for us 9 for them. Defense not good otherwise - they're shooting over 50% and out rebounding us....

Forgetting suggests he knows it. He plays much smaller than 6-8. Contributes virtually nothing on the boards. He's been in most of the game and has 2 RBs - both of which bounced out to him on the perimeter. And, he doesn't block out. Really need him to play like 6-8 once in a while and help out on the interior - like JJ does....

We should be destroying this team. But this is a case study in how officials can influence the game.

I know it's too easy to whine about officiating, but if we could compare how other games are called, the calls going against Mason would never be fouls on the offender. Call the fouls for aggressive plays that penalize the offense and give the other team credit for flops.

One positive to the officials calling ticky tack fouls against the front runner for National Player of the year is that Mason only had to play 26 minutes. Jayhawks have a quick turnaround playing WVU on Monday, so hopefully Mason is ready to go for that game.

I felt the same way about Svi getting beat on the backdoor cuts, but both times, Vick over played the man with the ball. Svi has to switch quicker and not trust Vick to stay in front of his man. Svi had a bad game today. Coach will stick with Svi, because he is the defensive equal of Vick but superior on offense. Self has no one else to put in when Frank fouls out. Thanks to Devonte, Landon and Josh for taking over in the crunch. Maybe that last free throw will turn Josh around at the line.

@globaljaybird Had to work the range today so had to TIVO the game. Peeked on net to see what the score was about 3:30. Made it much easier to watch the game when I got home even though KSucks/WGinny went long and missed the first 7 minutes. TTU was lucky the Bulldog wasn't up to par. Only thing that kept them in the game.

@wrwlumpy Loved that outlet pass play and then the one that I think JJ saved from going out of bounds, the ball was then passed around the horn back to JJ for the 3.

Anyone watching Gonzaga? Seems like St. Mary's would greatly benefit from going zone - they have been getting destroyed all game inside.
