Well- Silvio looks a bit slow and sloppy- still so happy to have him eligible. 2 fouls for DG, I would like to see Svi distribute the ball. It would a great day if Svi and Newman showed off some chemistry and Sir-Dunks-A-Lot go crazy.
Silvio is lucky not to have 1-2 additional fouls. I miss Lightfoot... but seriously Kstate is defending the outside shot well- adjust.

Two bad turnovers in the last minute of the half.
The 16-3 run they went on killed us......our offense went stagnant and they turned an 8 pt. deficit into a 5 point lead. Normally, if we hold a team to 34 at the half.......we've got a decent lead. A few missed layups early kept them in the game. Those 2 give ups.....one by Doke on the hustle play and one by DG late have really hurt us.
There were the other 2 bunnies one from Svi and one from Newman. Reminds me of how smoothie Frank would have hit 3 out of those 4.

Wade is a hell of a player, he really just doesn't take enough shots in most games.

It was a pretty horrible offensive sequence. This team can be really bad or great it's bizarre.
The Dok dunk came with playing Graham off ball, Newman point. A set play, but I liked it!
Is lightfoot better with Silvio on the bench, not a threat yet, but motivation? I like his D today.

TCU drops to 1-4 in the league with all losses bye 5 or less points, two in overtime. They are good but they may have just gave away any chance to win the conference. They will have a say in who wins it if they can get some upsets.

@JayHawkFanToo absolutely. And we will find out what this team is made of Monday. Win or lose isnt a deal breaker on that theory. But maybe just maybe they have the recipe to feed off a hostile crowd and win the road. I hope so. That's a team that will surprise ppl in March.

@HighEliteMajor as I sat in Omaha watching Tyshawn and the lil Jayhawk engine that could stink it up for 39 minutes against Purdue they made no sense to me... I would have bet many $$ that team wasn't winning another game that year. Not saying this team has that yet of course... But who knows. They just might.. we shall see

@HighEliteMajor all the years I thought we not only could but would win it all... And didn't. Years I thought we had no business making it as far as we did they some how made it happen. It is very weird indeed. And this team maybe the most weird of all. You said it. Why not this year. The entirety of CBB is funky. Nobody is a sure thing ever and it seems exponentially so this season.
Side note-I felt the 02 team had a better shot at going to and winning the ship than did the 03 team.
I felt the 07 team with Julian had a better shot at the ship than did the 08 team. In fact after the Davidson game I told everyone UNC would destroy us. I never believed that team would win the title until Mario hit the shot.
At this point KU is a good team not a great team. Great teams have a decent margin of error and can win even when playing below par, this team’s margin of error is razor thin and an average game wil not cut it against the better teams.
