I don't know but for me , I personally feel better about this match up then us against Texas tech. -- Why? - - well mainly if you know West Virginia at all - - -and watched or have seen them this year - -West Virginia goes through stretches and at times long stretches really struggling to score. - Plus a lot of the time their offense consists of Javon Carter dribbling at the top of the key for like 30 seconds of the 35 clock and then trying to force in the lane only to end up throwing it out and then they throw up some jock shot - the big reason they stick close in times like these is because of their rebounding - they put it up on the glass and then just go get it and make a play.

Texas Tech I feel actually is more athletic - -West Virgina's press really hasn't cost us a lot this season - -we have done pretty decent against it. - Plus over all I feel we match better against WV then Texas Tech - they have a mis match tonight with Konate but I feel we match up beter with them - -we shall see. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Depends on match ups. DeSousa is definitely better against more physical players, but Lightfoot is better against agile bigs that play away from the basket.

Silvio has officially solved the only Achilles heel this team had. Doke is going to come back rested and fired up. A week ago I was so worried about being put into a physically opposing teams bracket, now I think we can take on anyone. RCJH.

Love that Silvio came to play = 16 points. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK. What a dogged team. And the HOF Coach came ready to call the calls. Jevon Carter and Daxter Miles NEVER won the Big 12 Conf. or Tournament the whole 4 years they were at WVU. They were denied hanging the banner and I am so ecstatic. 15 3's. Got buckets when we needed them. Determination was a real factor. 48 points in the second half. Our Hawks proved to themselves they could do it without Dok and others stepped up. WOW Silvio sure does give our team a new dimension if he were to play along side Doke for any amount of time! If Coach Self deploys that line up for an extended amount of time teams have to prepare differently for KU... Could be the edge KU needs to suit up in April???

Silvio just proved he needs some pt even when Dokes back, I like Mitch and I’m not knocking him but Silvio is hands down the best rebounder on this team, that he’s he stronger and more athletic than Mitch.

@Statmachine Even if they don't line up together, he's a better rebounder than Doke. He is unflappable- plays with a ton of poise. And he can shoot free throws ( although he missed two with a minute left ). Let Doke get 20 minutes, and Silvio 15. The best thing that could've happened to this team is Doke having a minor injury, which let Silvio get comfortable out there.

In some areas like rebounding yes. Where Doke is still much better is knowing where to be on defense and just interior defense in general. We need Doke back. The huge thing is Self should mostly trust Silvio now, I mean he played more than Mitch tonight. Being able to choose between Silvio and Mitch depending on the situation in March is huge. And yes I think there are situations where Mitch would be better, mainly against a smart perimeter post player.
