@Kcmatt7 I'd like for them to look at DE and WR.
Also is it me or does anyone else think that Mahomes seemed a bit slower than his normal self.
This could also be attributed to Bills speedy defenders.
I think Bills RBs are more talented than Chiefs
Yes
KU certainly needs to clean up things but to call it regression is a bit harsh IMO
While improvement needs to be made, I would not necessarily call it a regression when your main QB is missing and when you are playing solid football teams, likes of TCU and OU.
To me Bills are more talented on both sides.
We are still not able to generate much pressure on QBs, look at what Von Miller did the entire game.
Run game has disappeared, CEH was a non-factor.
Not fair to blame rookie CBs.
No disrespect to the likes of Rogers, Brady etc, today's game between Bills and Chiefs will feature top QBs in the league this year.
We know what happened when these teams faced each other last year in the playoffs.
Bills have a loaded roster on both sides and are dominating their opponents.
Who will come out on top today?
I admire your optimism
@Texas-Hawk-10 The remaining schedule is brutal. Which game(s) do you see as winnable.
@Crimsonorblue22 I would say so, however, JD is a better passer.
There is still large disparity in talent between KU and OU. OU players are bigger and faster.
On Offense, KU has been really good due to creative play calling and using JD's strengths.
On Defense we really need to upgrade the roster.
He seems to be built like a LB, I like dat
It is better to be a bit under the radar at this time of the year, use it as a chip on the shoulder.
Message for Dick:
We are rooting for you to get Freshman of the Year award at the end of the season.
Raiders came very well prepared. They were more physical. This was one of their better games at Arrowhead.
On the Offense, I am looking at Sky M to have greater contribution tonight.
On D, I am counting on George K to have his first sack.
You can also add players under favorites, and I have most of Jayhawks in NBA included in my list.
@mayjay I use ESPN and add teams as favorites, so ESPN give news and scores on the teams. This does save time.
With full weeks practice let's hope Bean can guide us to victory, it will be monumental.
Another big rivalry game tonight. Raiders are coming off a win and looking at knocking out Chiefs.
Who will come out on top.
KU has special scales for BB players.
Credit goes to Bean, he stepped up. One bad INT due to not enough reps with WRs. He made a few outstanding throws for TDs.
A lot of positives
We would have won the game if not for the costly penalties and goal line fumble
TCU is a physical team, tough to tackle
I hope that our coaches use the tape to correct the issues and future learning
We need Hishaw back sooner rather than later
Hope we can correct the mistakes especially penalties down the stretch cost KU.
TCU played mostly a clean game.
I was impressed by their QB and receivers.
Their D is also extremely physical.
KU made some mistakes, but kids fought hard.
Kudos to Bean, while he made couple of key mistakes, not enough practice reps, he still had a solid game.
We also missed Hishaw.
While KU has depth, to my eye test Hishaw is the most talented RB. He can get those tough yards with his power and speed.
Without Hishaw, I hope that our OC can come up with creative plays for other RBs.
Fresh start
I hope I am wrong but I think LL is gone after this year. The money and stakes are just too high for him not to leave.
He is getting so much national attention that he will be drawing large offer from likes of Wisconsin and Nebraska.
He has ties to Wisconsin.
On Salvy trade, I think Royals have missed the window. Unless Royals get a cannot refuse type of offer my view is to keep him.
He is the only veteran player who can provide valuable locker room leadership to the younger players. He is the glue, a likeable person who can keep the mood positive even during tough times.
He will have to understand that going forward his PT will decrease unless he is hot at the plate.
Both run game and run D were very good against top competition, this is a positive sign.
Credit also goes to OL and DL. They stepped up.
Is it just me or anyone else think that announcers were biased, wanted ISU to win.
I see Potter has left the team, I liked him but can understand as he was buried in the depth chart. We have several solid LBs.
It is Brady versus Mahomes this week on primetime Sun night.
Both are coming from a loss.
Who will come out on top?
How about JJ devise a creative trade package deal including Mondesi, Dozier and O'Hearn for a solid starting pitcher and perhaps a prospect. Yankees come to my mind for such a deal.
Our D keeps getting better, I love it.
Good pressure on QB by KU so far
NW: Yes, really happy for M's and you. All the best in the playoffs.
I haven't followed our Women's BB team in this offseason.
Anyone has info on the this year's team and our expectations.
KC, Really nice analysis and summary. I agree 100% that Royals need to sign at least 2 starting caliber pitchers.
My other point is on Lopez, unless he can improve his batting in the offseason, I just do not see him as an everyday player.
This should attract recruits.
Can we invite football recruits as well.
Positive sign in that D seems to be getting better, DC has been making good in game adjustments.
nwhawk, Sorry to see Mariners bullpen implode against Royals, hopefully they will bounce back.
Did you all see halftime chat between Pat and Eric B. Is there any bad blood between the two.
I recall last year after AFC C game there was a story on how Pat and Eric B have not seen eye to eye. Is this just speculation or something has been brewing between them.
Chris Jones, a veteran leader, should know better, you cannot do that in a close game.
The team did not look prepared, coaching staff starting with Reid did not do a good job for getting them ready. I was afraid of the sloppy outcome.
Has anyone seen his tape on D. Can he guard at the next level.
D Hishaw has good combination of power and speed. He is hard to tackle. The TD run was sweet. I can see him playing on Sundays.
Wow,
Great news.
