@BigBad They had all the benchmarks that title winning teams meet and lost a corner case game. One of 3 losses all year. Reed was a great player, I'd take a Reed next year. Much more athletic than Braun.

What they are saying @jayballer67 is, "yeah, he did good things with our bigs" but Danny didn't and can't recruit. He didn't put in the necessary time and work. Howard went to Texas. Why? Because it'll be easy, basically recruiting in state. An easy and lucrative out for him.

This is correct. If he could be brought back in a strictly coaching role while we still have 3 guys that recruit he would be fine to add... Danny hating recruiting is well known.

Looks like we found the main pivot if we miss on TyTy...

The brand name of Kansas is also an intriguing opportunity for Yesufu.

"Being a blueblood, they're gonna have a target on their back and people look to beat them," said Yesufu. "Great program, run by a great coach. They're always gonna get everybody's best. They're gonna play the best of the best in college basketball too.

"That would be a great opportunity."

Yesufu mentioned upcoming virtual visits/ZOOM calls with Wisconsin, Kansas, USC, Georgia, and Arizona State. He has not narrowed down his list and isn't sure of a decision timetable.

"I'm looking at the environment, the education (major in accounting), the entire coaching staff, the social life," he said. "Just whatever school gives me the opportunity to be a better player and a better person."

Always a big risk in having guys reclass which is why I am glad we are keeping Cuffe in 22 to keep developing in HS.
