So I've been thinking about this. I think it has to do with Bill's focus on defense. The defense has become a lot better but by going all out on D you will generally be less efficient on offense. Especially when you have not much of a bench and guys have to play big minutes. There is a reason NBA players take plays off defensively in the regular season, and why teams will play a ton of guys.

Trading Enaruna for Xavier Johnson/another capable PG and leaving the roster otherwise the same is close to the ideal situation I think. Well, I don't think Enaruna would be the first player I would trade personally, he clearly clashes with Self's style.
@FarmerJayhawk Yeah I'm not sure what that world looks like. Probably involves Och and Jalen leaving which obvs we don't want to see.
I don't count Sunrise kids as in state unless they are from KS. Kendall Brown was from Minnesota. Still a big miss obviously.
Mitch coming back is a free role. I love it, tbh.
Dotson and Malik both left to play in the gleague (with Malik ultimately ending up overseas). Hopefully both Och and Jalen enjoy college enough to want to stay.

Right now the entire class can play in the post. Though KJ isn't the biggest and while Zach has the size he probably won't be ready for the physicality yet. Hopefully the JUCO kid can give us 5-10 minutes down low. I'd love to get a transfer big but it doesn't appear to be on the table.

@jayhawks2010 Yeah but Bill knew Devon was leaving (he almost left after his FR year) and didn't get a real replacement. W/e Baylor did to have their guys stick around :money_bag: was worth it.
