Fell asleep on d
3 KC possessions 3 turnovers. D is up.
Save it for a bigger game Dot. Don't get hurt. :|
Weavin' early.
Doesn't look like they have a big body to check Doke.
Pre-game jam today:
@Gorilla72 Yeah.
I wouldn't want to play Memphis. I think we'd win but it would be a very ugly game due to their defensive length.

EXCUSE ME?
Rutgers leads Seton Hall 19-3 8 minutes into the game.
We good.
Villanova struggling with Delaware. Setting it all up for next weekend...
It would require laying a very large egg to lose to the purps this year. But...it's been done before.... They will be majorly up for the KU games too of course.

K state is playing Mississippi state on the U right now in New York and IDK if there is 20 people there lol.
TBF where is this game on the list of things you can do in NY today? Probably near last.
@jayballer73 Maybe things have changed. He's a really solid player, but I think Nike.
@jayballer73 LSU is in deeeeep with Anselem.

You'd have to think you see a UK player defect sometime this season. Juzang, Brooks and Whitney have all gotten off to a rough start. Add Allen into the mix at some point. All play the same position.
Then you have Askew, Fletcher, Boston and Clarke all coming in next year.
Seems like at least two on the current roster will be defects.
Wow. Really amazing how Cal manages to stockpile and bury so many 5* guys. Whitney's numbers are rough for a top 10 guy.
Allen looks like a Lightfoot situation possibly though. From Kentucky, a bit lower ranked.

Not sure if people read the link, but apparently Self did a lot to get Grimes eligible for this season. According to KU, Grimes left in good standing simply because there wasn't a spot for him. Made it even seem like it wasn't his decision but Self's. I'm sure that's just saying what needs to be said for the rules folks, but Self certainly didn't have to do that so makes me think he's wishing him well too.
Self is playing nice because, well, it's the right thing to do and it looks good for him as well. Plus it just wasn't going to work. There wasn't a spot for Grimes because he told the staff he was leaving. It's best for all parties involved this way but these articles are going to get tiring if they keep getting pumped out to try and inflate Q's draft stock.
His game logs tell the story.

Played two good teams in Oregon and BYU, the two games where his numbers are a lot lower. I watched the Oregon game and parts of the South Carolina game and he definitely still has his moments good and bad. More bad than good defensively which is probably part of the clash with Bill.
@Kcmatt7 I agree it was a bad fit but I don't really like the passive aggressive narrative being essentially put out there through Grimes family.
That article mentioning Grimes family never operated like he was OAD is a huge joke. It's damage control now that it didn't work out when I know 100% he wasn't attending classes second semester.
@BeddieKU23 Yeah I'm wondering if the offer will come soon.
Might have a TED talk about Prohm soon. It's absolutely ABSURD that Conditt only plays 17 minutes a game.
He is ISU's best big by a large margin and he would be our second best big (behind Doke).
@KirkIsMyHinrich warms my heart. Fuck ISU.
Norm watching Tamar Bates tonight.

Since this is now a real thing mid-season. List at 67 already
Big-12 Departures
Shaun Williams- PG- Kansas St
Reggie Barlow- PF- TCU
Isaac McBride- PG- Kansas- Transfer to Vanderbilt.
Marcedus Leech & Luke Anderson- Anderson transferred to USF
These mostly make sense. Not a lot of B12 players among them.
BeddieKU23 said:
Deshawn Corprew- SF- Texas Tech
Has this kid been anywhere for more than a year? Wild.
@BeddieKU23 I'll update when I can.

If he keeps showing up it makes you wonder..
I have actual scoop on this one. I know the role he is being sold. Very solid chance here.
@Big-Clyde52 BYU is a solid, fringe tournament team imo. KU completely controlled that game, and really every game since the Duke game except Dayton as that one got hairy late (three games in three days didn't help).
Some good teams played in that stretch. Shouldn't be much of a game against KC so I'm really looking at the Nova game as a benchmark. Tough road game against a good offense.
This was a "perfect" game. Played amazing flashing the true ability of this team when locked in. Proceeded to fool around with line-ups getting guys valuable pt. Guys got lazy so Self can chew on them then they put them to sleep after it got down to 16.

17 boards wow
Doke's line was absurd today. 7-7 from the field and 1-1 from the line!!!
@KirkIsMyHinrich 26. JUST AMAZING NEVER IN DOUBT.
GREAT TEAMS COVER
I hope Milwaukee puts their walk-ons in too. This game is cooked.
Sometimes Milwaukee makes junk shots, sometimes they airball them like that. Good D both times.
@FarmerJayhawk This team is just too inconsistent offensively to do it imo. 2011 team had all the tools.
Humorously enough playing so lackadaisical down the stretch could actually hurt our kenpom rating. This game had a huge spread.
KirkIsMyHinrich said:
That's a pretty bad shot that went in.
Yeah you absolutely live with them taking that shot. Good defensive effort.
Tough make from that Milwaukee kid

Flat, but probably not worth juicing them too much at this point.
Agree.

This is one ugly ugly half of basketball by the boys in white. Nothing outside of Ochais dunk, no energy and little effort.
Yep. Very weak effort most of the half.
Visit going well. :eyes:
1-11 from three guy nails one. Every time.
Marcus wyd
Pure looking shot from the line.
wth is that call?
Colorado was down 9-3 to UNI but is now up 18-14.
HOLY SHIT
MARC G
Focusing again and doing well. WEIRD.
Not playing like #1 atm
