Wright and Belein are two of the absolute best at xs and os.
Wright schooled Self AGAIN.
Graham finished 13th on the KU career scoring list and 5th on the assist list.

@kuballin10 @BigBad He actually had a decent mid-range pull-up game in HS. He was over 60% from 2. Never been a three point shooter though. He just needs to get more comfortable at this level and he should be good.

@kuballin10 The others are Adam Miller, Bryce Thompson and Sam Williamson. Plenty of other good targets as well but those are all very good ins. Thompson and Williamson can both really shoot it.
@kuballin10 JRE is the modern post player actually. I didn't include Dante in that mix. KU will have a solid shot but that will be a war.
@kuballin10 Actually by rankings Nova recruits on a slightly lower level than KU. They will sign guys in the 75-150 ranking range in the early period without hesitation. Wright has a good eye for evaluation and knowing who they can get.

On one hand Self has completely broken players like Bragg. Otoh you have success stories like Russ Rob and Newman.
He's been...getting better about it I think. Next year will be more of a test. Lots of options.
Recruiting was excellent this year after the shit show in 2017 so hopefully it continues. Some legitimately good ins the next two classes including but not limited to: a top 30 guard whose mom went to HS with Jerrance Howard, a top 30 guard whose dad played for Self at Tulsa, a top 50 wing who had multiple family members graduate from KU (including mom), Ttp 40 guard in Topeka, top 25 modern post player from KC whose dad went to KU etc...

@BigBad Yeah he is a very good athlete. I'd love to see him improve next season of course, I just don't think it's a key at all. His usage rate will not be that high imo. Say the line-up is Dotson, Grimes, Langford, Dedric, Silvio. He's the fifth option on offense and probably doesn't take many shots that aren't put backs.
@BigBad I think part of it is he knows his role on this team isn't to shoot. He showed a decent face up game in HS so hopefully that can translate to this level when he has a larger role. If he is mostly just a junkyard dog next year that's probably fine though. He rebounds hard.
@kuballin10 Moore can actually play basketball unlike Cunliffe. I think he will be a solid back-up. If he ever has to start, then that's problematic.
