Cheick didn't play enough. He was more effective than Jamari in limited time despite not knowing what to do. Now part of this is the teams Cheick did get more minutes against were typically not as good. Maybe Self has learned. My main issue with Cheick is that he thought he had to shoot every time he touched the ball. Hopefully Silvio doesn't have this problem.

I see it like this... It's better if KU is going to add a body to get Silvio in the fold early. Gives him another half a year prep with Self, a huge leg up going into next year. It is certainly much better than adding a random walk-on body that would then not be with the team next year.

Green is more of a 2G/wing. Immensely talented, KU would be lucky to land him.

Agree about Jacobs he isn't a guy that is going to start year one. He can develop while SO Dotson and RS JR Moore run the show. Great situation. Also all three of them being from Chicago is pretty cool. Looks like it's going to be a knock down drag out fight for Adam Miller between KU and ILL.

This is a fair assertion. Even if he is the 4th big just having a 4th big is better than not for emergency situations.

He's already committed to KU it just isn't public. It should happen in the early period and he should sign.

Too many people that would know feel great about Grimes. Or in the case of one guy he has been downplaying Grimes because he knows he will be a Hawk and he likes to view the worst case scenario for KU recruits.
Have read from multiple people that he wants to do it on ESPN. I would guess right now that's how it happens.

@BeddieKU23 I think there is a chance he could end up at Creighton with Ballock. With the way recruiting is trending we will find out a lot more about who KU is going after in 2019 soon. We certainly appear to be in deeper with Matt Hurt than many were thinking.

Yeah the first thought came to my mind when I read it. So I thought this thread would be fun to discuss the possibility. Just not a lot of things it could be.
