Mark Smith received a Kentucky offer today.
Marcus Evans is down to Arizona, VCU and Miami according to ESPN.
Looking like Allen will visit Lawrence soon.
No one said it since the transfer, but it was definitely posted before that he might be forced out. Agree with your take.

Depends on his goals. He could end up being a D2 lifer like Chipman, being content with that level while helping turn kids into quality members of society. I have no idea what he wants out of his coaching career though of course.

This whole situation is purely about the dad. He was promised a big position on Pastner's staff whereas Tubby gave him a small meaningless position. So he was completely sideways with Tubby and they couldn't work it out.

I don't think so. They are from Memphis and Memphis hired their dad. Not sure if KU takes a look here but Dedric is really good and they have a little brother that will be a 5* in 2019.
The Lawson brothers are transferring from Memphis. Dedric is reaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllly good.
