Guess our out-goings transfers won't announce until Friday. Seems to be the consensus thought now.

Though I fully expect us to be waiting for the roster to be filled into late May/early June. I know we are targeting guys that are currently going through the draft process.

Both very true. Talk around JWill is he wants to leave before every offseason and he ultimately ends up returning. It's mostly because his other options are not as good. If you flip flopped their draft stock CB would be 1000% back and JWill would have declared w/ an agent by now.

Not saying this kid is KU level but he intrigues me a lot. Some tools are there. Get him in the right system and he is a P5 guy imo.

I do find this situation a bit odd. As you mentioned he stuck with ISU even after his coach was fired, had to establish a new relationship with TJ & then played under him and led them to the Sweet 16.
It was already social media rumor that Hunter was being courted by other programs without being in the portal officially. Now he's in and its high bidding time. Not sure that's someone I actually want from the portal. We all see he's a really good player that's going to get better but from an 8 foot view it certainly seems like he's chasing a bag more then chasing other things. Who knows.
Sounds like he spent some time back home in Wisconsin after their tournament exit in Chicago. Old people from his circle got in his ear. One of his old teammates upgraded from a small school to Wisconsin and he got to see the financial difference.

ISU, maybe correctly so, puts quite a bit into football these days. It might be a struggle for them to maintain relevancy in basketball unless they divert more there.
Personally I rather enjoy KU's appoach to limited funds. Be great in basketball.
