14-7 us
Lots of good looks but nothing to show for it
Won 4 games last yr so he didn't make a good first impression
Love watching Council. We haven't had anyone this fast end to end since Dotson, maybe longer. He's a legit blur
Did get another cheap foul but very nice to see the offense
Strong game from Flory so far.
Not a good thing
Body check on DP. certainly not coincidence
Nice start
They can have him for that alleged amount. Cra$y
GB won 4 games last year.
KU favored by 30.
Let's get the party started in style tonight
Real games next week should give us an idea of whether to worry or not. He certainly needs to elevate his play now.
It appeared Flory was pressing without DP, perhaps trying to show he could be the #2 option.
Growing pains is what we have seen through both exhibitions. Concerning but not the end of the world yet. Monday would be a good time to start figuring it out
Interesting, the defense giving up 35 pts was apparently the lowest pts allowed by KU in an exhibition game. Missed if it was the Self era only or ever. The defense definitely can be really good and offset what could be an offensive challenged team outside of DP

Somehow i missed this game entirely. Need to get my shit together and begrudgingly renew my espn+ i guess.
You can begrudgingly only have to sign up for November and December. Cancel before Xmas as the last plus game is the 22nd.
However if you don't have Peacock you will miss 2 conference games.
There are free streams all over the internet for those that are a little tech savvy and don't wish to pay but that's for another conversation.
Just 2 games but neither Council or Elmarko have shown that they are any different then Harris when it comes to stretching the court from 3. Not going to work against good teams.
Flory needs to slow down at the rim, he was on crack last night.
Perhaps a message needs to be sent by starting Tiller on Monday.
they played like a team without its leader and most talented player.
The offense isn't going to be a juggernaut without DP's greatness.
Yeah you just gotta laugh at that one
Flory still challenged at the line this yr
The usual timeout because we look like dog crap
Defensive effort is solid so far even with playing against hays.
16-4. Tiller and Dawson with recent baskets
Wow
Typical dog crap audio from the plus
Absolutely Elmarko looks in good shape and Self mentioned he worked tirelessly to get back to 100%. He needs reps and hopefully his skill level comes along.
I see the trio of Council, Peterson and Jackson handling all the PG duties. Likely to see 2 of the 3 on the court at all times so that helps break it up. I see DP running the show in half court sets as you want him with the Ball in his hands to make a play as much as possible
A few more thoughts.
Jackson looked athletic as heck and a lot more physically mature. He didn't handle the pressure all that great in the 2nd half but made all his free throws. I think he needs to play to that strength of getting downhill and getting to the line.
Council reminded me so much of Tyshawn. He's a dog and a heck of an athlete.
Did I mention this is a very athletic team? It's great to be able to say that again.
White was a bit of a mixed bag but ended up with 14. Those two 3's was good to see a 4 finally stretching the defense. Need to see more of him. He was consistently mentioned as one of the best players this offseason by Self
Mbiya is a giant human. Total project but hopefully someone that can be thrown out there a few minutes a half.
Tiller is a lot more mobile then I anticipated. He showed some tantalizing skills and has legit size. Self throwing around that he could be a pro in the future is very interesting. His development this year seems like one of the main individual keys to this season.
Lots of good stuff from that away exhibition game. It certainly was played from both sides like it meant something. We didn't really see that dog in the team the last few years but you can see this is a different group with different leaders.
If this is what DP gives you on a given night and we really only saw him play a half then just wow. He didn't waste any time living up to his reputation.
I thought Tiller was the biggest surprise of the night in a good way. You just never know what your getting with a player returning from injury that had missed a solid 12 months or more of playing basketball. He has to be the other big for this team to reach it's ceiling.
Flory hitting the weight room this offseason was big, literally. His passing looks improved and he had a sweet drive into contact that ended with an athletic finish. Hopefully he figures out his foul issues.
We played a good team in their house and won rather easily, kept the crowd out for most of it. That's what good KU teams used to do on the road. I think we saw the potential is high with this group and came away really excited about the season
It's hard to believe this is how the game is called
If this is a snapshot of refs this season im at a loss of words
Might as well just say these guys were paid by Louisville. They are so bad
Oh hey we good again
There is nothing worse then college basketball refs
Ref show
The athleticism being back is like chefs kiss
Council supa fast with it
Oh my Dp
Jeesh
Council is a dog
Still really encouraging to see the physical growth of Bidunga. He looks good
Either 14 or 17
That's a grown man
Yikes
Boy the refs are certainly one sided
We dont really have another 4 without going small at the moment. Thought he was fouled there but oh well
9-3 first timeout. Louisville applying a lot of ball pressure
9 zip early.
Bidunga has noticeable size to him this year
Athletic is hell is this starting 5
