It’s the truth to a degree to be honest. We don’t have a secondary or third scorer. That’s an issue even if DP is a phenom.

Start Tiller. I genuinely don’t care who you bench but Tre seems like he’s more likely to pout about getting benched.

Other guys just have to better man. Council has to be able to make outside jumpers. Dawson passed up too many open 3’s and I was immensely disappointed by Flory tonight.

I’m not sure it’s a fit for either party at this point for numerous reasons.

They’re just trying to get an AJ Dybantsa/Flagg type of NIL deal..except he isn’t that level of prospect imo. But UK is desperate for a big time win under Pope.

My main takeaway was that we were a clear level above Louisville athletically and that makes me excited.

Highlights show high level of anticipation on steals, instincts on the offensive glass, good athleticism, good in transition, capable at some other things. I saw a Self guy for sure. Looked bigger then 6'4, wonder if he has good measurables. You need guys like this in the program as you fill the roster in the NIL era

Kid has a 7’1 wingspan at 6’5. That’s gonna allow him to at least be useful defensively for guarding numerous positions.

Now they’re going to be able to solely focus on their big fish…

Yeah I think that’s a better way of wording it than I did rcjhdraft. I’m underwhelmed by their planning and have some concerns about the coaching staff and their ability to adapt to this era.

With that said if they could wrap this portal season up and add Kerem Konan, Marko Radunovic and Pat Suemnick it would be a solid haul. I don’t think it’s likely though.

I like the 3 portal adds but I’ll also be real and say I’m underwhelmed by what they did this offseason. I understand funds may have been limited but I don’t think they planned well at all and that’s on the coaching staff.

I hope so but barring a surprise or Darryn being a top 5 guy in the country this looks like a 21-10 type of team which is solid but isn’t a contender or in that tier. Kind of reminds me of the Oubre/Alexander team.

I could be wrong but the contingency plans for wings has been disappointing. It was fairly obvious our wings were leaving after the season. Then we ran off Passmore as well now we just have Tre White and Samis I guess?
