Nick showing some confidence finally
Yeah no question
Finally got his token board
Big time
Self cloned Kev out of Och and Jalen
Nice kev
Elmarko the dumb
Bullshit call
Finally
Self really failing with lineups tonight
Allergic rebounding
I don't even know what to say there
Please sit elmarko
Just awful
Big play by kev
Kj wtf
Pathetic
At 7'2 he makes it look hard
Wow
Elmarko needs a long break
:face_screaming_in_fear:
Not getting a fair whistle but just getting outplayed
Wow how do you miss that
Hopefully they take care of business tonight. Good minutes up for grabs for Timberlake and McDowell. Who gets them?
The battle is set.
I don't have any confidence in our lawyers but they seem prepared for action. They may first go with a Declaratory Judgement to get the courts to define rights and obligations before anything more serious but who knows. They could also push for a settlement which I find more likely because I can't imagine the ACC or ESPN want a messy litigation battle.
They have secured private equity funding if they go down this road and from everything that I'm aware of, this is the path they are preparing for. The plan is still to get multiple ACC teams to follow suit with them in this fight. There has been some talk that if 3-4 ACC teams go at this together, they will have a fighting chance.
As a FSU fan, this isn't new but the CFP snub has set this in motion after some legal review. They will likely have to pay $120 million to leave perhaps more, perhaps less. Will be interesting to see what happens but it's the only way to solidify the future in this race to destroy the sport
Uconn lost by 15 to the #67 ranked team and moved up a spot to #4.
KU moved down 2 more spots to #14.
Comical stuff going on
Well Nick isn't playing much so that tells you what he thinks of him. Remy played a lot when he was healthy and not clashing with his coach.
I think that's a bad take. I also don't understand the panic
For some perspective, Yale has lost to Vermont and Fairfield this month. There is no situation in which too many minutes for Timberlake should equal a loss, at home, to Yale.
saw this posted somewhere else. KU fan didn't have good seats.
*We wound up underneath the friggin balcony overhang about 5 rows from top. Can't believe the arena is set up that way bcuz those seats suck. Couldn't see the top of the scoreboard, let alone the balcony on the other side.
To compensate, IU has hung smallish TVs on the underneath side of the balcony overhang so you can see the action better. Thing is, the camera for that TV is on the OTHER side of the floor. That means you're watching play go one direction on the actual floor and the other on the TV. Have never see anything like it.*
Kenpom-
Win on the road against 17k fans in Assembly Hall. Yeah, your moving down the list some more. Sounds about right for winning.

Win on the road against 17k fans in Assembly Hall. Yeah, your moving WAY down the list. Sounds about right for winning.
Self says Furphy headed to Australia for a family commitment that Self has known about for months. Self didn't elaborate on what the commitment is but that he'll miss 1 game.
Mari time!
Since starting the season 2-13 from the FT line Adams has gone 19-29 for 65%. He's now at 50% overall. Hopefully he will live in the 60's as the season goes by. Was really hoping coming into the year he would show improvement there since he gets to the line as much as anyone.
Voters have amnesia daily
I was noticing that during the intro and during the game how the design of the building is different. I haven't watched a ton of Assembly Hall games tbh over the years since Indiana has been average for a long time now. I don't recall hearing them this loud before but good to know it's right up there with the best when there's a big game in town.
If anything this was a perfect road environment for the guys to experience. I don't imagine they will go somewhere else this year that rivals it but if they do, they will have some experience handling it.
Good point. I'm good with a 2nd year from Hunter so hopefully we don't need to go after another
He'll be lights out against KU as he's played well against us in the past. I'm surprised by his numbers so far but I'm not complaining if it continues when he plays us too.
All 3 signees are having fantastic Sr seasons so far. Philon and Passmore have only improved their games and raised their stock IMO. Very impressed with all 3 and very excited to see how they fit here.
They were certainly rattled most of the first half but it was great to see them buckle down in the 2nd half when it mattered most. I was rewatching the game to figure out the game switched, but I think it was KJ Adams dunk after going down 13 that started it all. Seemed like a small play at the time but one that seemed to catalyst the comeback.
Top 5 crowd I've heard on TV away from Allen. I did not realize how loud they can get there so I can imagine that was something to experience. I guess that's what KU coming to town does, great to still know that KU coming to town is a big deal. With that kind of fanbase support they should be much better than they are. Without Galloway's super bowl game they are very average.
Thanks missed that reclass stuff. Not sure we'll be big in this recruitment given we have Flory.
I don't think it changed anything, but I was very encouraged by the poise they showed in the 2nd half when getting back into the game and leaving with a victory. Indiana isn't very good but they played well enough to beat us & the crowd was very loud and played a big factor. Overall, I thought this was a C level game overall for KU, but they found a way to win and that's what ultimately matters.
Agree inconsistent team especially in the 1st half. 2nd half didn't start out hot either but then KJ gets a crowd silencing dunk within 10 seconds of Indiana going up 13 and then all of a sudden, the momentum starts shifting. I did not see us pulling this game out at any point with how the first 25 minutes or so went. Still a bit surprised we won tbh but this is the magic that Self yields at times.
Was a bit disappointed in how the bench was used in the game. Jamari gave huge minutes. He made at least 5 impactful plays in the game. A drive and assist to Hunter, an offensive rebound/putback that just missed, drilled a 3 off good perimeter ball movement and a big boy rebound in traffic that was a big play at the time. He made plays and at some point Self needs to trust him if that's the kind of effort you're going to get from a true freshman on the road. Parker saw only a few minutes. Nick isn't playable imo. Furphy didn't play enough to really impact either. The starters played too many minutes outside Elmarko. Self having a short bench isn't anything new. He still needs to figure out the balance of playing your starters 35+ minutes and the wear and tear that causes for later in the season. Is what it is.
Hope you had a fantastic time!
Some ball handling and ability to shoot the 3 in film. 230 pounds so needs the weight room. Expected to be a top prospect in which ever class
KU trying to get involved with Khaman Maluach a 7'2 Center from the NBA Africa Academy. Duke, UK, UCLA also involved. Could reclass to 24 too
Re-did 5th grade a few timesπ
Bossi posted his camp doesn't talk much about recruiting at all and has a relationship with the family but he doesn't think he's in a rush and will likely take more visits after this pair. He is already 18. He thinks he might be a bit overranked at the moment and after digging again on the reclass stuff he thinks he sticks in the class of 25
This one's fully over
