I watched diallo play a summer league game, he's so fun to watch! The coach or owner was being interviewed, he had a lot of nice things to say. Cheick had more opportunities w/boogie going down last season. Still working hard w/his D. Diallo is so appreciative of his time at KU, he comes back, I see pics w/coaches and he went to Selfs HOF induction. I realize I'm in the minority, but I think Self did the right think w/diallo. He needed a lot more than 6 months to help us out, I sure wish it wasn't true! I hope they continue to work w/him cause he is one cool guy who really deserves it.

At most schools does the hiring fall solely on the AD? Or is there a committee? I remember Self saying he hoped someone w/KU ties got his job. I don't think he wants to hand it over to anyone. It's his baby! He seemed awfully proud during the summer league games, and he's getting so much praise from everybody, more than any other coach! Coaching and personality.
They talked during last nights laker game that lb will have a say how the team will be run. Cleveland coach and Walton have already discussed it.
That's why Perry doesn't show well in an unstructured game. It's every man for himself, he's not wired that way. I wish there was a better way, he's as good as some of those guys that are ball hogs. I know what you all will say.
