@JayHawkFanToo I watched hi lights of Crist at an all-star game in post-season. He did great, I don't know if he was awarded MVP, but I know they said he should be if he didn't get it. Amazing what a decent O line can do for a QB!

It's being reported that Cleveland's doctors did indeed clear Joel Embiid, and that the previous report of his physical not going well was leaked on purpose.
The logic here is that Cleveland leaked a report that Embiid's physical did not go well in order to deter the Bucks from selecting Embiid at No. 2, if Cleveland decides to swap picks with the 76ers (whom own the No. 3 pick in this year's draft). There are conflicting reports about the results of Embiid's physical, but given how well his workouts have been going, it would seem Embiid is closer to healthy than not. It's worth being said, that all reports leading up to the 2014 draft should be viewed with a bit of skepticism, as it's difficult to separate fact from smokescreen. Jun. 13 - 5:39 pm et

@joeloveshawks I just can't get in my head that Selden can "bring up the ball". Afraid to say point now! I hope he can, just based on his passing and handles last year, can't see it. I think he has a great chance at being one of the best sg's, as long as he's healthy. I hope he proves me wrong!

@jaybate 1.0 I don't think Cliff will be intimidated by many guys! He's much sturdier than Embiid. I do agree about the foul problem, he's pretty swat happy, as are most of our guys. I'm sure he will be double teamed as Embiid was, but he will figure it out quickly. I watched the quadruple OT game and he did a lot of little stupid things, mistakes, but then I remembered I was watching a high school game. He along w/the rest of 'em have a lot to learn, but we should be excited for the toughness and fire they bring. I like the chassis talk!
@Statmachine great news about Greene, been hoping he proves himself. Can't take much from a preseason-no coach scrimmage, but the new kids are getting a good taste! Pretty rough and fast! Very fun to watch! Mason was scoring pretty easily and Mari had a solid game too, forgot, Selden played great. I listened to the podcast and was impressed to hear Mari and Greene both talking about being leaders! I never imagine Mari starting this year and I'm a huge fan, but maybe he can start? I saw some drills from yesterday and Hunter was moving quicker than I imagined. I had no idea how he would do! Seems like dropping weight has been positive. Their roundball Classic is on cox 22 or metro sports if you are around Lawrence, tomorrow, 7-9:30. I know Sherron is back, anxious to see him. Rock Chalk!

@ralster great post! I do think Perry is not being to cool, I think it's just his demeanor, not really cool.
I think, just my opinion, Self doesn't want to tip his hand w/his kids. Didn't someone say they thought graham wasn't working out? In a week, Self could determine that? I think Self is tired of all the TO's from 1-3 guys!
@HighEliteMajor I think you are the only person I've heard to say anything negative about Rele. As far as Josh Selby goes, nobody is more disappointed than him. May you and I never be as hungry as some of those kids!
@ralster hope nobody is disappointed w/me! I was mad every time we lost a game, especially in the tourney. 2 regular season games, TRobs mom and last away game at Missouri, stand out recently. As far as kids go- don't like this thread.

@justanotherfan nice ratings! Remember, Embiid couldn't pass out of a double team at the first of the season either. I also read somewhere that Cliff hasn't played ball long either, maybe started 8th grade?

The dunks for sure won't come as easy, but he has played against Okafor and did quite well. I watched him and Oubre play in all star games, and yes I know they don't play D in those games. I'm excited, Cliff has a great motor, Self loves those guys! I choose to be hopeful! Ben sounds pretty hopeful w/graham too, so I am too!
