@drgnslayr I think Self worries Embiid will lose his edge? Not sure that's the best word. Not knowing a kid that well, you wonder how tough he is. You know from athletics, injuries hurt a whole lot worse when you lose! I'm not doubting the seriousness, just have no idea, and I wouldn't jeopardize his health!
@JayHawkFanToo we KNOW Self would never say that!!!! Smart is dumb as a post, sorry! Don't want to be like that tt dude. Bad-mouthing kids! When the media asked Smart if he had any counseling after the incident, and he said he didn't have any problems.....BS!!!! Ford should have got them both appointments! The chair kicking should have had consequences!
@drgnslayr struggling w/this post this game. Who guarded smart 2nd half? Selden? Tharpe did a good job on Forte. I'm cowering! I've never seen Forte have a bad game against us. Puzzling he didn't even attempt many shots. Waiting to hear about Embiids back. I'm going to wed. Game. Pretty sure I'll see a fired up team. Extremely sour taste from last night. I'll go w/Embiid pick, and Selden a good first half. All I got.

@Hawk8086 a lot of "ifs". I want to play them again. It will be interesting to see how osu handles the next 2 games! Williams from ksu might go off on him, his fouls are nasty. Smart brings out the best in teams. What do you think Self would do if he had smart and his antics? The flip, the flop, smartassness(new word) taunting, assaulting, etc? If our guys did any of that crap, what would he do?

When you suggested Self call him, that hurts, a lot of us! Everyone here respects you, I'm in awe of your knowledge on all things, it's really hard to cross you! We're all mad, but I'm not giving up, that includes Tharpe. I couldn't sleep last night, so I read every article on the game I could find. I read that as Embiid was limping to the bus, he was consoled by another player's parent and tears were streaming down his face. Dang, dagger to my heart! These are kids! Can you imagine the toil on their bodies and minds? Embiid needs his parents! Watched the post game on cox, they interviewed Tharpe, he took responsibility for his play. Last Monday I saw thousands of fans staying until Tharpe's interview was over. The band was playing, na na na na....... All for him! Last night Tharpe was wearing a red hat that said "Leaders" on it.
On a side note, did you see the pic of smart being a smart ass towards our bench? Plus his interview saying Self wanted to cut their nets down last night! No doubt he's a good player, but totally classless! He should have been suspended for the year, pending assault charges.
Smart said During post game interview that they were motivated by Bill Self's comments on wanting to cut down their nets tonight! Pissed me off!

@eastcoasthawk I was at those games too! Want to add the pre-game videos in w/your hi lights. Gives me goose bumps every time! I will be there wed. Can't wait, but sad to see the seniors and OAD's go.

I'm so tired of hearing about WSU- mostly Marshall! But, they are on espn tomorrow and about 60-70 media people there. Bob Knight is also there and expected to interview Marshall. I guess you all can watch!

@drgnslayr I've been thinking about this for awhile. My whole family(quite a few) become really depressed when the season ends! It's like a death in the family! We get so caught up in these kids lives, they feel like family too. To think we will never see some of these kids in a Kansas jersey anymore, is hard to fathom! I'm hoping you garden guys will give us tips this summer. I feel certain you all will come up w/something.
