@jaybate 1.0 maybe you can remember the ISU game on the road? I don't think Tarik played much, he just doesn't match up w/them. Now Texas has some big, slower, interior type players, which Tarik matches up with. It would have been a waste to put him in last game. I think because of fouls, our stable of bigs will be rotating a lot! We will know soon. Enjoying the Wisconsin game!

@drgnslayr I hear what you are saying! After Selden dove into the crowd and got the biggest applause of the season, I felt like the team understood what that meant! He may be the only one on the team built to do that. I want to believe that they are understanding what it means to play for KU! Today will be a great test. Rock Chalk!

@HighEliteMajor I'm the person that can see 2 sides, most of the time. I enjoy hearing different opinions, but I can never put a kid down.

@HighEliteMajor politely disagree w/Wiggins not getting bruised. When he goes to the hole, he is getting laid out! But, he never hesitates. I do think he's a finesse dude. I hoping we see him dive on the floor. Some fans, not saying you, won't think he is playing hard till they see that.

@drgnslayr I could sit down and discuss this post for hours. Dont really know where to start. One point, w/out saying names, do you think players w/less talent do the diving on loose balls in order to bring energy and get more playing time? KU fans love these guys!
I also see that as these guys gel, I think they are more likely to put themselves "out" there more. I also think they are understanding what it means to put the Kansas uniform on. What I question is, can a D1 player actually not be motivated or competitive? Can it be taught? If you think as some did in the beginning of the year, then I think it has been taught.
Different kids learn in different ways, the whip or carrot. Bill Self has that figured out!

I was there, his head hit hard! Would like to see a replay. He takes a beating, but he doesn't hesitate! I feel like we all hold our breath until he gets up. Just another take.....

Tried to put pic on here of Wiggins going to the hole, the one in LJW w/2guys all over him. Check it out! We talked about valuing the ball, well Wiggins isn't getting stripped anymore. The ball looks like it's worth a million bucks to him now!

@globaljaybird I agree! It seems like it is taking them a long time to figure that they way they are playing (flopping, complaining, thugging etc) is not working. They have some talent for sure, I'd like to think it does reflect the coaching. I'm just praying Forte doesn't kill us again, their small points always hit lights out, and out hustle us.

Off topic, just saw on sports from Wichita station, an interview from Milton Doyle. I forgot about him! He plays for Loyola, who WSU plays next. Some pretty impressive hi lights from him.

@HighEliteMajor I think Self is playing bench just right. Plus, Greene, Conner and Lucas seem to be gaining confidence. Traylor continues to step up. I think we would have to have a really off night to lose a conference game. I'm crazy! Barring injuries!!! We are so deep! Need Tarik back.

@HighEliteMajor as far as seeding goes, do you know our seeding stats and finishes in Selfs era? Also, go OU! Twitter says Embiid did hyperextend his knee, but practiced. Sounds like Tarik is still nursing ankle.
