Never once said anything about them being an elite offense. 13th nationally in FG% defense is elite and that's what USC did this year. They play a faster tempo so points allowed can be misleading because a faster tempo means more shots going up which means more points being scored. USC is a better version of Texas and Texas absolutely kicked KU's ass this year in 3 of the 4 halves they played this year.
Fair enough - just saying that a whole mess of their opponents have not struggled to score the extent to which we have. And, my reference to their scoring 80 was a criticism of our 1st half D - or lack thereof...
Gotta give Marcus props - he is busting his butt out there. Working hard on D, scoring and getting rebounds. Sad that no one else is showing up...

Pretty high level of play by both teams compared to most games...
Watching the UCLA game, even more unfathomable that UT lost to Abilene-Christian. Yes, they play hard, but they simply can't score...
Will give OU some credit - thought they might cash it in, but they've been putting up a decent fight. Scoring - just can't stop the Zags. Doesn't help when Zags get four shots on one possession and Timmie doesn't get call for an obvious travel down low (moved his pivot twice). And, OU getting called for some questionable fouls; but not GU.
Kusports article acts as if we have zero chance to win this game. I understand the concern but they have a relatively unimpressive schedule. Of course their league has done well so far in the dance too so maybe the PAC12 was underrated.
That maybe the PAC12 was underrated seems like a massive understatement at this point, especially given Oregon's shellacking of (an overrated) Iowa. The PAC12 teams aren't just winning, they're doing so pretty easily. 6 of their 7 wins have been by double digits.
The challenge this year in evaluating teams is the paucity of non-conference games. That was especially true for PAC12 teams. As it turns out, the B10 is clearly is not the "best conference by far" (per Bilas). The B12 is also not what we thought. Perhaps KU can pull it out a win tonight as a 'dog, but it's distinctly possible that only 1 B12 team will be in the Sweet 16...
Missed 1 and 1 and missed lay-ups. Game was there for TTU to steal, and they didn't execute in the last minute...
Question is whether they can keep up this intensity on D throughout game...???
Is Dave not suited up??? We are not going to be able to stop their bigs without Jalen or Dave.
