There really are no easy buckets for this team. Dave's shooting % is basically half Doke's. We don't have anyone who can run a break (maybe Harris can, but we are really lacking team speed). We don't really have anyone who can finish above or below the rim. We get very few put backs. Any game where we are not making 35+% on treys is going to be a struggle...

The problem is that when one or starters don't show, we don't have anything off the bench. TGF and Tristan almost unplayable...

Agree, but I would cut Marcus at LOT more slack... Both 3 - 10. But Marcus had 10 points, 10 boards, 4 assists and 1 TO - and plays defense. Dave had 7 points, 3 boards (5 others had as many or more), 3 TOs, 4 personals, and he plays matador defense (at least when he has to guard the perimeter).

We've held them to under 30%, outrebounded them, and have hit 9-10 FTs. Seems like that should lead to a lot more than a 3 point lead....

I would like to be glass half full on this, but...It was a tale of two halves. Dave had a solid first half, but not so much in the second. 0-5 in the second half, a couple of turnovers, 1-2 from the line, and 3-4 rebounds. But, to his credit, he wasn't a black hole at the end and kicked it out to Jalen for what turned out to be the game winner...
And, Cade Cunningham also down to Oral Roberts late in the first half...
